Graham Elliott Bistro is a stylish and casual eatery specializing in American cuisine. Its menu is eclectic and ultra-contemporary. Some dishes served include cheesy grits with duck confit, gnocchi with a fried egg and a large banana split for dessert. There is also a full-service bar serving a wide selection of beers, wines and specialty cocktails. This restaurant is owned by executive chef and TV personality Graham Elliott.     We were very excited to visit GEB, as we are big fans of his. It was rather disappointing to be honest. Asking the waitress questions about her favorites or popular items was very irritating. She seemed annoyed that I would ask for what she recommends and said the bare minimum. The waiter a few tables over was being so helpful and descriptive I tried to eavesdrop. I was exceptionally surprised given it was restaurant week and early in the evening, so no real excuse like it was a long tiring night. The food came and it was lackluster. Completely paying for the Graham Elliott name. Speaking of which, he did come in. Stood facing the kitchen and texting for about 15 minutes and disappeared into the back. It was odd at best. Even the table beside us mentioned it. Overall, we would have been better off going to Chili's that's how exciting the ambiance and food was... and it wasn't cheap!

    We went on a Thursday night pre-Theater time. Service and drinks were excellent. App of Salmon Pastrami (?) was not very special, but the Cheddar Risotto was terrific. Loved the rustic taste of it with plenty of cheese. My dinner partner found it a tad salty. We ordered the 2 pound pork entree for two. The pork of ribs and loins were excellently cooked and presented on a tasty bed of farro with fennel salad topping. Only problem was that they never mentioned the price. Turned out to be $65. Not too outrageous, but I might have gone with something else had I known.

    We had a great time here celebrating our friends birthday. Everything we tried was yummy. We tend to share food with the group we went with so we got to try a lot! We had an excellent server who answered all our questions and was warm and engaging. It is a little pricey, but worth it for a special occasion. My only criticism is that it was quite warm in there for for the first half of our meal. It got more comfortable as the meal progressed, but we started a little hot. Dress in layers!

    The food was excellent. Very creative presentation. Server was exceptionable. Looking forward to going back in the warmer weather and sit outside!

    When I made the reservations I had very high expectations for someone who's earned 2 Michelin stars. I have to say that my expectations were exceeded. Beginning with the greeting when I entered the restaurant to being asked multiple times if I had any food issues (I don't but I know many who do). The food was outstanding. The shaved brussels sprouts were a great start to the meal. The horseradish vinaigrette was light handed and really set off the blue cheese. The Wisconsin Cheddar Risotto was outstanding -- by adding some apple to the mix some of the saltiness of the bacon was offset. This could be a meal unto itself. The main courses of both the whole fish (I loved the crispy skin) and the hanger steak with pommes frites were killer. Of course no dinner would be complete without dessert. Graham Elliot's signature Banana Split was incredible. Paired with the 10 year old tawny port it was a delightful end to a great evening. My taste buds were singing the whole night. The wine list has a nice cross section of wines -- many quite affordable. This is one of my new go-to spots.

    Great place for bistro food designed by a celebrity chef worthy of his media fame. Great combos of food, flavor and presentation at a casual bistro. Last summer I had a bbq and used his burger recipe. Everyone raved and you will too. Just be sure to make a reservation, they are often jam packed, and as a great place to eat, to be expected.     We visited g.e.b for my husband's 30th birthday and we were not let down. We had a party of 6 and were placed in a large secluded booth which would have been perfect had it not been freezing. That was the only negative. Service was excellent as was the food. At the end of the meal, the servers brought over mini ice cream cones topped with pop rocks to celebrate the birthday. Will definitely be back.
