Amazing tasting experience! Tried and loved foods I would never consider!
Have been to Gracie’s several times. Food and service is always fantastic. Prices are not cheap but it is always a meal to remember
Always amazing! The food combinations and creativity are second to none
We savored every bite! What a treat. Our servers were exceptionally attentive, even rescuing my cell phone from under the seat. I can't wait to go back.
A very good meal marked by a pleasant and interesting staff and excellent food. A delightful fun and delicious evening. We will be back soon.
Great food music and service ! Could not be happier with our experience.
Always an outstanding experience. The attention to detail is amazing. The staff does a great job of staying on top of all of your needs, no matter how small. The food is creative and has a complexity of flavors that keeps you wanting more.
I really loved having dinner at Gracie's. I ordered the crispy sweetbreads as main dish and they were wonderfully light. I then had a sophisticated dessert with a combination of pistacchio/hazelnut icecream and lemon mousse. The glass of Pinot Noir from Oregon was great too. The dessert wine from Barboursville vineyards was both original and excellent. The service was also very professional and attentive. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Providence.
My sister mom and I were having dinner prior to an event at the Providence performing arts Center. I had read rave reviews about the restaurant so went in with high expectations. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere was very nice. The food was good, but I guess I had hoped it would be even better. We all ordered duck so I can only speak to that one dish. It was perfectly cooked to order but A flavorful sauce or a little seasoning was missing. I felt the same about my gnocchi’s, which were my first course. We were treated to complementary tiny apps,Which were delightful. I would go back and try a different dish next time. Overall it was a good experience.
Great 3 course meal. Wait staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was phenomenal, fresh and unique. The atmosphere was relaxing and I get the feeling that people eating at the bar were regulars. The pairing of wine with my meal was perfect. We were here for a birthday celebration and we arrived at our table to find little silver star confetti on our table. A simple yet nice touch.
I would recommend this restaurant to people who like to take their time while eating and enjoy all the nuances that accompany a nice relaxing meal out. Great job Gracie's!
This place is a bit fancy/upscale. It’s definitely a great experience but not a restaurant I would go often.
As always...I love this place. We have been 3 times this year and each experience has been fabulous
Gracie’s delivers more than just a fabulous dinner. The whole night there is a fabulous experience. We had the 7 course tasting menu paired with the wine tasting. Everything was delicious. It is very pricey, but is a unique dinner experience.
Fabulous, simply fabulous. Gracie's went will beyond expectations, A providence gem.
Wonderful start to finish. Great way to celebrate our anniversary!
tried Gracies because of Items on the menu that are not commonly found. First time for sweet breads, yummy. Great service, wonderful food.
We attended the restaurant for my husband’s birthday and overall was very satisfied with the service and food. It’s definitely a Providence experience that I will highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a Fine Dining Experience. I did not give it a perfect score due to the valet service. We will more than likely park else where and walk over to the restaurant the next time; took extremely long to retrieve our car, but left us a delicious surprise when we finally received our car.
Phenomenal service, food and ambience. Definitely worth the hype. We loved every dish in our 7 course chef's tasting. It was outstanding, truly! And the service was elegant without being stuffy at all, as all our waitstaff was young and hip, and on the right side of casual. Great experience, can't wait to go again.
This is a lovely restaurant that serves exceptional food and has a complete vision for a premium dining experience. It was our Anniversary and upon sitting down we were greeted by our waiter offering complimentary prosecco. The table was set with candle, silver star confetti/glitter and a Happy Anniversary card - all tastefully done.
We had an outstanding beet salad - really outstanding flavors interspersed among the varied beets. Wonderful little pallet refreshers between courses paced the meal. We had some perfectly matched wines to go with our entrees (the duck was perfect as was the rigatoni).
The only thing needing some fine tuning was the service which isn’t lacking but was uneven and seemed in need of further experience.
The duck is great!!!
My husband and I had the five-course tasting menu. I had the wine pairing, and he had the non-alcoholic pairing. Many times I feel he gets ripped off when there's non-alcoholic version of a wine pairing, but definitely not this time. While the wines paired with my courses were wonderful (especially the rose!), I couldn't believe the incredible beverages he was being served! Cilantro, lime and black pepper to name one. Bravo to the creator of these beverages!
The five courses were beautifully prepared, and just enough food so that when we finished the meal we didn't feel over-stuffed. I do wish they had been able to give us more time between courses, but as it was a Friday night we understood the time crunch.
Another great feature is free valet parking!
We highly recommend Gracie's and hope to go back again soon.
Sublime food and service!
We were made to feel special and valued the moment we walked in. The food was spectacular. Lovely low lighting and decor.
They are always on their game. The service the food is just amazing.
Anniversary dinner and we were treated like royalty. Private room with champagne toast to start off the evening. The experience at Gracie couldn't have been any better. Highly recommend.
Wonderful dinner for my husbands birthday .. Food was incredible . Staff were attentive . The attention to detail was amazing. Will definitely come back again
We've been here a few times including our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. As always, we have a free glass of champagne (it's normally a special occasion.) This night we had the 5-course tasting menu and it was fantastic! Next time I would get the wine to go with it.
We had been to Gracie's prior (though a few years) and... it was as spectacular as our last visit. Which says a lot for the way some restaurants come and go. Though they have a wide variety in the "costs" for meals, the Chef's (5, 7 & 9) Courses are amazing. If you are into wines, they definitely spend their time selecting the appropriate wine pairings for the food served.
As it was our Anniversary, we spent more on the 7 Course, than the Prix Fix or standard menu, but food was exceptional.
Then... the Wait Staff! They could compete with ANY restaurant I have visited globally over the years. They were absolutely superb. They were great with knowledge, there when you needed them and definitely not overbearing. They matched perfectly with the fine cuisine. Overall an excellent choice for our Anniversary.
Gracies was by far our best dining experience ever!!!! Right from the start the helpful Valet our warm welcome from our hostess to our fantastic wait staff. The timing was perfect not rushed but still gave us plenty of time to make our show. The food was amazing each course brought a new surprise of flavors. The gnocchi appetizer was our favorite. We even found a special treat in our car from the valet. We are looking forward to returning soon.
Gracies is a wonderful experience in fine dining. They provide a level of attention that is not seen very often these days. The atmosphere is elegant without being stodgy. The food is fantastic and the portion are just the right size. Not too small, not too large.
Good overall, but not up to the standard other times we were there. We did not order our meal all at once and that seemed to throw the timing of the wait staff off for most of the meal. Additionally, we ordered the cheese plate and the server clearly did not know the item. As he was describing the selection he was unclear. There was another server to assist him and he was clearly training...however, may be better to have the server in training write down the items as opposed to having him stumble (relatively embarrassed) and then another individual standing behind him jumping in. Valet was disorganized and running between two restaurant’s key boxes.
Overall, not a bad experience...just not the standard I expect from Gracie’s.
Went to Gracie's for My wife's birthday (which was noted on the reservation) when we arrived, we were greeted with a happy birthday, and the table was prepped with little stars, a birthday card, and we were given a glass of sparkling wine. the waiter and server both also wished my wife a happy birthday... the attention to detail through out the meal was exceptional, the wine pairings were awesome. I had the poached egg with pork belly, followed by a pork loin and belly entree, and the surprise for me was the corn cake for desert, accompanied by mescal popcorn. With amuse Bouches, and sorbets as well... it was a wonderful evening. the wait staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and the food and the extras were superb.
We were greeted with a confetti sprinkled table and a champagne toast - it was a birthday dinner. We ordered the chef's 9-course tasting menu for two and it was excellent. They allowed for me to sub one of the dishes for something non-seafood and it was highly appreciated. Cannot recall which two cocktails I ordered, but they were delicious. Also ordered the non-alcoholic drink pairings and all 9 of them were excellent! Highly recommend this addition.
In order, our plates were beef tartar, short rib gnocchi, fois gras, cod for him and sweetbreads for me, rabbit, cheese, lychee rose cake, dense blueberry cake, candies + chocolate + macarons. The short rib gnocchi was DELICIOUS and would definitely recommend it as a full entree. For those considering it, we'd probably recommend the 7-course option. The second cake and sampling of candies, etc was too much for us. Three types of bread and softened butter with cracked pepper and maldon salt were tasty - it was difficult to refrain from eating too much of it. Perhaps that's why we couldn't finish our desserts!
Pricing seemed a touch expensive compared to other options (in Boston). The staff was excellent and very attentive. Could not have asked for a more lovely evening out.
When going to Trinity Rep, I always dine at Gracie’s. My daughter accompanies me for these “mother-daughter” evenings. This time her son, my oldest grandson, joined us. He 16 and has a very particular palate. His pasta dish came out too al dente and too salty, so they redid it until it satisfied him. Not only that, they dropped the charge for this course.
We have come to know many of the servers and they are all fantastic.
I look forward to my next meal at Gracie’s.
Sat in the private wine room. Had a lovely time!
The food was amazing and the service was fantastic!
Gracies has always been a great place to go, although a bit pricey, I look forward to the food experience. Only one criticism, I ordered the pistachio chocolate dessert and it was served with a rose water sorbet, which I thought fought a great deal with both the concept and the flavors.
Chose Gracie's for a getaway birthday visit to Providence. Great choice -- service, food, ambience all excellent. Duck Confit was excellent, service felt very focused on our having a great experience. Chose a three course wine pairing -- wine choices were solid and explanations of choices informative. In addition to a great waiter who led our service team, the manager was on top of everything, stepping in where and when he saw opportunity, without overstepping. Impressed while we watched, that each time a table was turned over, staff ironed the new tablecloth. Also impressed that when a couple was seated, but chose to move on, staff reset the table completely, though nothing had been touched. While our first visit was for a special occasion, we intend to make it a regular stop when we visit Providence.
