Every visit to Gracie’s is a treat. All of our servers were wonderful and our main server was very knowledgeable and informative with our wine pairings.
Delicious food. Good service. Attentive staff. Intimate setting.
Did the 7-course tasting menu. Everything was perfection! We were not hurried at all, so we were able to really enjoy our meal. All the staff were great!
Gracie’s is consistently flawless. I think it would be impossible to have a meal at Gracies and leave disappointed. Their staff is superbly trained and their kitchen prepares one fabulous dish after another. It is always worth saving room for their desserts because they are all prepared at their sister bakery and they are worth every calorie.
We have high expectations when dining at Gracie’s and are never disappointed
This was our first time dining at Gracie’s. We did make a reservation in February to show up and find the restaurant closed. Without canceling our reservation. The wait staff did not properly explain the menu. She merely asked for allergy information and starting bringing food. Never dining at this restaurant, not knowing what to expect I was brought food I disliked. I was told to look at the menu but never asked to order off the menu. It felt as though we were served food left over in the kitchen that wasn’t even enjoyable. We have eaten at fine dining restaurants in the past, but I would not recommend Gracie’s. Overpriced. Not to mention the livable wage tip added to the bill. No wonder the service was awful. No motivation to provide excellent service.
Gracies it’s truly one of the most enjoyable restaurants on the East Coast. The food is delicious and their service is flawless and unobtrusive. Their prices are reasonable and they anticipate your needs before you even realize you have them. The chef uses fresh local ingredients in an innovative way but there is nothing pretentious about the restaurant. Gracie’s is relaxed and comfortable and welcomes you like family.
One of the finest meals ever! The food was creative and perfectly prepared. Service was exceptional and inconspicuous. The extra touches including the sorbet and macaroon finale were perfect!
This was our first time eating out for a full year. We were a bit nervous about being seated too close to other people, especially unmasked. Gracie’s made us feel very safe. Our temperature was checked as we came in, and we were seated in a corner table away from other diners. The waitress was excellent, and also made us feel comfortable.
The food was amazing! We had the five-course tasting menu. The wine pairing was wonderful - along with the expert descriptions. My husband doesn’t drink and they had a mocktail pairing. I was jealous of the creative beverages, and almost wished I had chosen to go that route. All-in-all a perfect foray to post-Covid dining.
Love love love Gracie’s. Always incredible service and quality of food in impeccable.
Things, due to covid, have changed many of the perks at Gracies. No valet service or coat checks. Taking masks on and off repeatedly do to the many servers who come to your table was disruptive to conversation. The serving of foie gras we received was 1/4 the size of normal servings we have received there. We love the foie gras at Gracies. Gnocchi is also terrific at Gracies, but the addition of shrimp to the dish was not tasty to me. I was offered two other dishes that were not up to par for Gracies. I was also wondering if they changed their blend for coffee....
AMAZING food! Great place, beautiful restaurant. You get what you pay for.
2nd time back to Gracie's and was not disappointed by the beautifully presented and wonderfully delicious chef's tasting menu and cocktails! Overall, the experience was lovely but lacked the *magic* we felt the first time. Unlike our first visit, this time they were 30 mins late seating us (reservation was for 8:30pm and we were sat at our table at 9:05pm) though the host did offer us a complimentary glass of prosecco while we were waiting which was a kind gesture. One of our favorite memories of Gracie's was the excited and engaging server we had the first time. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case a few nights ago. Our server did not engage in any conversation and on a few occasions did not explain the course we were being served--which left us a bit puzzled as to what we were about to eat. They were friendly but appeared uninterested which can really dampen the mood. Would still love to go back but maybe not as soon as we had originally hoped.
Dinner was fabulous! We all enjoyed our meals and the duck was especially scrumptious. The wait staff is always so attentive and knowledgeable. I am so impressed with how they have handled 'health and safety" so felt good about eating indoors and outdoors was also an option. Thank you Team Gracie's!
Was wonderful. The card from the restaurant was really thoughtful. Glitter on table, too. Appreciate it very much.
Had a wonderful meal at one of our favorite restaurants in Providence. After not dining out for months, it was such an incredible treat. Had the scrumptious foie gras for an appetizer followed by a delicious carrot and parsnip soup.
My entree was a perfectly cooked duck breast with red cabbage. Absolutely delicious
And capped the meal off with a chocolate caramel tart and an amazing decaf cappuccino. Still one of the best restaurants in RI. Plus it was great to see all of the wonderful servers (and our favorite Sarah!), the maitre’d and the amazing chef and sour chefs.
Outdoor dining (with heat lamps) is available for people like myself who are still a little hesitant about indoor dining.
Definitely worth a trip
Gracie’s outdoor seating was an excellent alternative during COVID. They had heaters which kept us nice and toasty. We were accompanied by a gentlemen playing the accordion, which set a lovely ambiance. We enjoyed the 5-course tasting menu and enjoyed every bite!
If you go out for dinner for a taste treat, Gracie’s is for you. Started with the sweet potato gnocchi. Light and fluffy, delicious. My husband had the steak and he is very hard on restaurant that serve steak and he enjoyed every bite. I had the most unique winter vegetable plate ever. Whether you are a vegetarian or not order this dish even as a side. It is an absolute delight, every bite.
Always a delightful experience. Every bite is worth savoring. It can be a bit pricey but the overall value is unbeatable, you'll be talking about your experience for weeks to come. Highly recommend the 7 course chef tasting, lasts about 3 hours and the relaxation and diversity of food is truly amazing
Fabulous ambiance service and food. Perfect for a special night out.
The staff here are always so brightly enthusiastic about the food and culinary culture they embrace. It will forever be my favorite in Providence.
Dining at Gracie's is always the best. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for excellent food, ambiance, and service.
We chose this restaurant for a birthday celebration. We had heard it was an outstanding experience and it did not disappoint! Easily the best meal we've ever had! The staff was very friendly and helpful, in particular helped me find a great wine and just made our night extra enjoyable.
We do not dine out in Providence often, certainly not in the last year, so when it was time to celebrate it had to be Gracie's where we have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and other significant family events.
Gracie's has enhanced cleaning and guest protocols to keep everyone safe and we felt very comfortable and safe dining inside for the first time in a year.
The staff were friendly, attentive and took very good care of us, and the food was as outstanding as ever. The Duck was particularly good and my wife really a enjoyed the preparation and presentation of the Sea Scallops.
If you want a wonderfully prepared meal, served with style, Gracie's should be your go to place as well.
Unfailingly good food and great service. Without the simple 3-course prix fixe menu, though, eating here can be a bit pricey. But delicious, always.
Absolutely incredible and the staff was great and personable.
Fantastic food, especially the chef's tasting menu and wonderful staff! Well worth it!
Food was great as was the service. Patrons were spread out and masking helped to protect everyone.
Special shout out to our maitre d who chased us down after we left and returned my friend's wallet.
After a long hiatus due to the pandemic, we were able to enjoy dinner in one of our favorite restaurants of all time. The staff were just as welcoming and accommodating as we remembered and the food was superb. At every step along the way, we felt safe with the precautions in place. It's great to know that Gracie's is doing well and I look forward to our return soon.
Perfect way to spend my 25th birthday. The five course tasting menu was absolutely delicious and each wine paired with its dish perfectly. You definitely won’t regret it.
We travel from Boston to go to Gracie's, if that says anything!! The food is out of this world; every time seems to get better.
The food, service and ambience makes Gracie’s my all time favorite dining experience.
A stellar over all dining experience - World Class
Food was excellent. It was not the trendiest spot in town but food was very good.
Our seven course tasting menu was fantastic. Our wine pairings were perfect and the service was phenomenal.
Outstanding food and service. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Providence which has plenty of great restaurants.
Took my girlfriend out for her birthday. Amazing! They wished her ‘happy birthday’ on her arrival, had a signed birthday card ready for her at the table, and treated us like gold all evening. The food was unbelievably good, and they even gave us birthday macarons at the end. What an experience!
This is my favorite restaurant. The food and service is always outstanding.
