Wheat-free dinner rolls and hand-made gluten-free pasta are always available. Most of our menu items can be made gluten-free with little or no modifications. Vegetarian and vegan options are well thought out and composed. We make our own vegan pasta, too. Gracie’s team is trained to accommodate food allergies and a wide range of dietary restrictions.
Gracie's is conveniently located in downtown Providence, across the street from Trinity Rep, and a short walk from PPAC, The Dunkin Donuts Center, and The Rhode Island Convention Center. Brown University, RISD, Johnson & Wales University, and Providence College are also close by.

Absolute great wine pairings with our meals! Our waiter was attentive and definitely deserves credit for his sommelier pairing accomplishments.
We had to wait for 20 mins to get seated even though we had a reservation. However, they did make it up for it by offering us cheese platter on the house. Fois Gras was absolutely awesome. I love how they offer bites of desserts in between courses to help cleanse our palate. Overall, an awesome experience.
As always everything was wonderful and they made my birthday feel so special while appreciating I didnt want a spectacle.
Absolutely my favorite restaurant ever.
I went to Gracie’s for the first time with s friend last Friday, and I could not have asked for a better dining experience. Our waiter, Jim, was very friendly and walked us through the menu. The entire staff worked so well together. I ordered the duck as my entree and would absolutely come back for this meal. Well worth the trip!
Extremely well-prepared food, lovely ambiance. We were there for our wedding anniversary but we hadn't said so. We were given the perfect table and wonderful service.
Great atmosphere coupled with first class food and service. The perfect place to celebrate a special occasion with those you love.
Absolutely! The place gives you an experience more than just going out to eat. Yes, might be a little more than you would usually spend going out to eat but instead of a play, movie or sporting event give this place a try at least once. Do the wine pairing with it as well.
I went to Gracie’s for my birthday because there’s no place I’d rather go to celebrate myself! Haha. I’m grateful they still participate in restaurant week. The fixed price increased this year, but the value that you get by dining at Gracie’s makes the price worth it - I left feeling so full, and not Olive Garden level of full—gorging on cheaply made food—but really quality ingredients and perfect portion sizes.
The service was great, too, as always. What I love is that the servers actually care about knowing their guests! One of the servers who wasn’t even OUR server happened to deliver my drink and remembered that I had an almond allergy, and knew there was almonds in the orgeat syrup that was in the drink (I had no idea!) That level of attention and care only comes from honest relationships. (Thanks again, Elizabeth!) Great job to Evan, Ian, Samantha, and Anat as well, who made me feel at home. Gracie’s continues to excel in all ways!
Our dinner was to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff gave us a warm happy birthday greeting when we arrived and had prepared a table with special decorations as well as providing a complimentary toast. The food was special and throughout the course of the meal, there were a number of exciting intermediary courses, such as cucumbers/toast, sorbet, and macaroon cookies. The valet parking made the whole experience effortless and all the staff were attentive friendly and provided a warm and welcoming experience.
Everything was perfect! Elizabeth and her entire crew was beyond phenomenal. Eating here was an experience that makes memories for a lifetime. Literally, unforgettable.
Plates were not hot for hot courses. All hot food was just a tick above room temp. Cappuccino was hardly warm. Cup not heated at all. For $360 expect WAY more.
Gracies is a very special place The food was outstanding service excellent. One exception deserts were all mediocre at best. Looked beautiful but definitely disappointing and not worth the calories! I’d come again for the amazing food but would skip desert
Evan was wonderful and our ability to come back after the show at PPAC to finish with dessert was exceptional!
Excellent 3 course dessert tasting menu. The first two courses are excellent! Found the third course a slightly boring but definitely worth a visit.
The flavors and combinations are very well planned and like poetry on a plate.
Food was fantastic. We would not hesitate going again and again.
Always delicious and so convenient especially when you going to PPAC. They were more than accommodating in allowing us to be a little bit late due to horrific traffic on the way up from Narragansett and still getting us to the show on time. Perfect.
Absolutely outstanding restaurant. Food and service terrific, ambiance great if a little loud. The only thing even remotely wrong was when the waiter brought me Earl Grey tea instead of English Breakfast, so I think we can say this place is darn near perfect. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Providence.
Everything was great. From the food to the service it was wonderful.
First time visitor to Gracie's.
A thoroughly delightful evening.
Very personable welcome; we were seated promptly, staff was attentive throughout our visit.
Our waiter Mark was top-notch. Knowledgeable about all the elements of the menu, and offered good suggestions on both wine and food.
Food was delicious; servings were more than adequate.
A little loud, due in part to the type of building, but also to some diners who were enjoying several selections from the wine list.
All in all, a first-rate evening.
Looking forward to returning Gracie's both soon and often.
Overall we had a very nice time at Gracie's. We decided to experience the Tastings menu which was delicious but, there were a couple of blips by the server . I sensed that things were happening behind the scene, such as last minute changes to the wine selection, that was totally beyond her control. We were also served an incorrect wine for one course. She gave the appearance of being rushed. All in all it was a very relaxing experience with excellent food. One negative is that the seating is extremely close. Tables are less than 6 inches apart on one side and any conversation that you do have can definitely be heard by those next to you.
Always a great pleasure to dine with the wonderful folks at Gracie's.
Was not impressed with the service. Took about 20 minutes for the waiter to even come to our table and almost another 30 minutes for him to bring the wine from the cellar. When we finally had our drinks we went ahead and ordered another bottle. Our glasses remained empty for some time before he came back to say "we do not have another bottle of that wine". So we selected another bottle. They were out of that one as well. REALLY? The biggest complaint was we had a reservation for 9 people. We ended up with 8 but then 2 showed up before we even had ordered the wine above. They were not even going to let them in the restaurant. I convinced the person at the front that we could all sit at the table we had (it was a large booth) and put 2 chairs where they originally had one chair on the outside. She was very rude about it. I told them we were doing it. She tried to say their plates were too large to accommodate another person. Should have just left at that point. They also stated there was a security breach for Amex and they were unable to take the card. We could pay in Cash or other means. This was close to a $1K tab. I believe they just didn't want to pay the Amex fees. I would not recommend Gracie's when there are much better customer oriented restaurants in Providence.
Excellent experience! excellent food! Wonderful Birthday dinner.
By far the best dining experience each and everytime ! They treat you like family. We have been there in the past and they knew (without even telling them) our preferences.
It was our anniversary and Gracie’s made us feel special the whole evening. The food was fabulous, the service was fantastic and the overall experience was very special. We opted for the five course tasting menu with wine. The element of surprise and the fun of trying different flavors in food and wine was what made the evening feel more special. We were not disappointed. I highly recommend Gracie’s for any occasion but especially if you are celebrating a special occasion.
My wife and I always go to Gracie's for all those special occasions, such as our anniversary, our birthdays, holidays and days with 24 hours in them! There is an excellent reason for that ---and it is not all about the food but also other things that matter to us, such as the pleasantness and efficiency of the staff.
Gracie’s always provides a lovely experience with an impeccable menu.
Lovely. Waitstaff were solicitous but not overly so. Food was yummy and portions were reasonable. Great night out!
Pricey but worth it for a special occasion. Delicious cocktail, exquisite food and wine.
Best meal I have had in Providence, the varied menu and attention to detail and service was excellent! Even on the tasting menu, the chef was accommodating to my friend’s dietary restrictions and provided her some delicious modifications. Overall, fantastic value!
So good. Food, wine and service are all to notch. Better than the experience is the fact that my 5 course meal with wine pairing was donated by Gracies to support a young cancer fighter and I was lucky enough to win in a silent auction. Thank you so much for everything.
Apps and entrees all great. Waitress and bus staff and hostesses all on point. Service timely. Ambiance very nice. Only complaint was cookie dessert, expecting more of a cookie selection. Jus a mental thing that I never consider little candies as dessert.
My wife had the Duck was fatty. Should have sent it back but did not. Always orders the Duck at Bouchard in Newport always consistent. Otherwise all was good!
Top restaurant in all phases starting with free Valet and top notch bar that can answer any question you can possibly ask about drinks, wine, etc. The head chef and pastry chef invent new offerings all the time. Love this place and all the employees across the board. They know they work in a special place and it shows.
Food and presentation were sublime. Delightful flavors abounded. Thanks for a very special repast.
We had a wonderful birthday meal at Gracie's that started off with a complimentary toast of cava. The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed each course. I had the a la carte wine pairing and enjoyed it very much, trying wines that I may not have selected on my own. Our wait team was fantastic: attentive and knowledgeable. From start to finish it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and we will definitely be back!
This restaurant is outstanding. The dishes are beautifully designed and prepared to its highest standard. The interior of the restaurant is elegant and radiates a warm atmosphere. The service is professional and friendly.
Dinner before a show at PPac
Gracie's is an elegant restaurant that is very welcoming. The attention to detail and the service is impeccable. Jim, our head waiter was so genuine. Gracie's is now my favorite restaurant and now my go-to, especially for special occasions.
Delicious food including great gluten free pasta and bread! Loved the paired wines!
