Vegetarian and vegan options are well thought out and composed. We make our own vegan pasta, too. Gracie’s team is trained to accommodate food allergies and a wide range of dietary restrictions.

This was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The atmosphere is very inviting, the service was outstanding, great wine list and delicious food. I had sweetbreads and rabbit which you do not see on every menu and they were both incredible. The wine was very good value for quality. We were one of the last parties in the restaurant and we were not rushed. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning to Providence to eat there again. It was recommended by the guide from our food tour and we are grateful for the recommendation.
Gracie’s always provides us with a great dining experience. Food, service, ambiance are always excellent. On this occasion we brought friends from CA who were equally impressed.
Wonderful experience! Great food, and service! Our server was always mindful of the time so we would be on time for a great concert at PPAC! Will be back for sure!
We had a wonderful time celebrating my Moms birthday at Gracies. This is a perfect place for a special occasion. Also would be a great spot for any foodie looking to let the chef take you through their tasting menu.
Its fabulous. Let them know about your birthday, or anniversary...
You will be transported back to a time when every meal is a banquet and experiential.
Everything as great! As I’m gluten and dairy allergic, they had to adapt my meal. Even so, it’s one of the best dinner of the trip. Food was PERFECT! The only thing I missed was a baby changing place. Because we’re traveling if my 5 months baby.
Really a very nice meal and we opted for the tasting menu but in reality the meal was extremely over-priced. No problem with the taste or the quality but in my opinion the cost was double what it should have been. Enjoyed everything and I knew what I was paying before the meal but just felt it was stupidly over the top for what we were served
One of the best meals of my life. Highly recommend for a nice night out.
Having dined in restaurants all over the world, some of which are world renowned, I find Gracie's to be pretentious to the point of ridiculousness. Call me crazy, but for me, a great restaurant is not simply about the food. I have never much cared for the food at this establishment, but we needed a place to go last minute, and decided to give it another try. How bad could it be. Sadly, we discovered the answer to that question within minutes of being seated at our table. At great restaurants, one is made to feel welcome and relaxed, not as though one has entered a facility where joy is strictly forbidden. From the moment we were seated, our waiter made us feel as though we were being lectured by a disgruntled school teacher, who felt it necessary to put us in our place. We tried to ignore it, however it only got worse as the night progressed.
To be fair, some of the staff were lovely and kind, and I am sure that it cannot be an easy atmosphere to work in for these good people. I cannot fathom how this restaurant has stayed in business for as long as it has. As for the food, it was mediocre, at best.
Best dining experience I’ve had in 10yrs. Our new go to spot for fantabulous everything. Decor, ambience, vibe, service and attention to detail in every single respect. The food was to die for and perfect. Not a missed cue or note, and all the little extras and touches made it magnificent. Love, love, loved it. Thank you so much to ownership, chef, staff et al.
We had another wonderful dinner at Gracie’s, and it was a great place to celebrate my birthday. Thank you!!!
We came here for our first anniversary on April 13, 2019 and had the 7 course chef’s tasting. I do not exaggerate when I say the cheese course was the best we have ever had. All the courses and the wine pairings were delicious, the servers were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. What a wonderful experience! Highly recommended. We can't wait to come back.
Not just a meal, it’s an experience. One of the finest meals and dining experiences I’ve ever had
Fantastic dinner all the way around; the service from Manny and Jim was prompt, pleasant and excellent; the hostess was a pure delight and even the couple at the next table was wonderful! The food was amazing (with the exception of dessert which had mixed reviews but still lovely). The presentation on the dishes was so pretty I took a picture!! The evening ended just as wonderfully as it begin and we were able to take some treats home! We will definitely be back.
Meeting a friend after 45 years of disconnect.
Can't wait to back! Went there for my wife's birthday. So many nice touches. Free tastings. Champagne. Even a birthday card. Food was so fresh and so creative was delicious. Even found cookies in my car after it was valet parked. Loved the whole experience.
Excellent food and service, with great vegan options for a friend. Duck fat cornbread was amazing.
If they have it on the menu, get the foie gras. You will thank me.
Fabulous spot for a special meal. The food is excellent and interesting and well thought out, the service was wonderful, and they don’t rush you. They are very good with wine pairings, but this is the first restaurant that I have been to which also does excellent non-alcoholic pairings. Such a treat for the non-drinkers in the party. Everything was just great, but do know that it is pricey. Worth it, but bring your big wallet.
Another absolute perfect dinner experience. Elizabeth at the bar took great care of us as we dined with her. Chef Matt's spring menu was inspiring and amazing. The cod and the duck were outstanding. One of the kitchen treats was a sample of something which may be offered at the new restaurant in a few weeks. The only disappointment was having to depart for home.
We have been going to Gracie's ever since it opened on Washington Street. In short, it is a place that we always love to go, while wondering if it is really as good as we remember. Somehow, the food always exceeds our high expectations. There are few restaurants where we have experienced that, not just in Providence, but anywhere. The owner and her staff maintain standards that most businesses of any kind can only aspire to.
Fantastic service. Food presentation was spectacular and was incredibly delicious. Highly recommend for a special evening out.
It was my wife’s birthday. We like to sit at the bar. Food is always amazing, service is the best. Highly recommend, it’s our favorite place
Amazing food and great service. Will go again! Our waiter was very knowledgeable.
Wonderful from start to finish.
Awesome as always. Now a tradition to go after Trinity matinee.
Gracies never fails to deliver. A very special treat in honor of St Patrick’s Day was an amuse Bouche, a mini Reuben sandwich. It was outstanding.
Food looks beautiful, tastes better. Service divine—attentive not obtrusive.
You can tell. I’m a huge fan!
Gracie's has long been our favorite restaurant but on our last visit for my husband's 75th birthday the staff went far beyond what I'd come to expect. The meal was wonderful--no surprise there--but the extras they added for the occasion were gracious and kind and very much appreciated. Gracie's is a 10 star restaurant!
Excellent food. Excellent service. In a league of its own.
Gracie's is one of the best restaurants in Providence! The chef loves to experiment with new tastes and it's shared with you throughout the meal! I highly recommend the duck. Sooo good!
It is the best dining experience I have had in months. Service was amazing ... staff approachable, kind and respectful. Never rushed. Atmosphere exciting and awesome. Food amazing. Inspiring and uplifting experience. We talked about it all day yesterday. Owner Ellen is a class act and Rhode Island holds a treasure in this restaurant. From reservation to picking up the car at valet, it was what a night out should be! We love Gracie’s!!!
Uncommonly good, real talent in the kitchen
A great find
We will return
Charming atmosphere and delicious food. We enjoyed the cozy ambience, jazzy music and the company of nearby diners. The amuse bouches between each course were a pleasant surprise. Service was attentive and personalized, splitting our first course for us and offering complimentary baked treats on our departure. Thank you, Gracie's, for a lovely evening.
We had a fabulous dinner this week at Gracie's! It was our first time to dine there. The food on the tasting menu was inventive and perfectly prepared, and the service was absolutely first rate. Elizabeth, our server-sommelier, gave us expert advice on cocktails and wine selections, and was a delight to spend time with throughout the evening. Overall, an evening to savor...we'll be returning regularly.
Hard for me to believe that I have dined in Providence for years and this was our first visit to Gracie's. In a word, Gracie's was exceptional. Everything from the greeting to the cookies awaiting us in our car when the valet brought our car to us at the end of the evening made our experience truly the finest dining experience in Rhode Island. Only in NYC have I experienced this type of dining experience. From the amuse-bouche to the intermezzo we loved it all. The octopus appetizer was outstanding as were our entrees (pasta and Duck) both expertly prepared and served. Desserts were also exceptional and I highly recommend the assorted cookie and confection assortment (perfect for 2 to share) as a great way to end the evening. Importantly, while exceptional culinary arts, Gracie's was not pretentious. Will definitely be back and I highly recommend to make any occasion extra special.
Our group had the swordfish, cod, rabbit and rigatoni with sausage entrees, and all four agreed it was the best version of each item we'd ever had. My swordfish was beautifully cooked, and the leek and potato side was so interesting and tasty. My husband noted several times that the rigatoni he ordered was the best he'd ever had. I sampled our friends' cod and rabbit and would not hesitate to order either next time we're at Gracie's. Our server Sarah was very informative and friendly.
I appreciate all the effort that went into my husband's bday dinner tonight
Did the 7 course dinner with wine pairings. Absolutely amazing!
Lovely time. Only complaint was the pairing of a sparkling rosé with the cheese. Otherwise lovely!!
My only comment is that tables for two are very close.....we were able to hear the next tables conversations.
Birthday with friends. The five-course chef’s choice with wine pairings was superb!
