The created a quiet corner for us just as I asked. The servers and all the staff was attentive and professional. I would definitely dine there again if I were back in town. Appreciate y’all 👌🏾
Absolutely Delicious! Definitely will dine agin in the near future very pleasant experience
Another outstanding experience. Even more impressive given Mother's Day celebrations and all the COVID requirements. Food is still as impressive as always and the service was...more than outstanding. Many of our ol' favorites were working, which made the evening more special. The staff have an amazing knowledge of bar creations as well as how food is prepared and what makes it so special. An evening that will be in our memories for quite some time!
The experience was everything that we had expected. I had Gracie's special pasta dish which I thoroughly enjoyed. My wife did find her fish somewhat dry, but she still enjoyed the appetizers that we had. the service was outstanding and Gracie's policy of including the gratuity and sharing with all is very fair. We would recommend Gracie's and we would return.
We went for Mother's Day. The food and drinks were excellent. We brought our teenage girls and they love it there as well. The wait staff and host/hostess staff are always welcoming and make you feel at home.
we had the chefs 9 course dinner including the hudson valley foix gras and the cheese course. It was superb. Service was absolutely perfect. It was an amazing meal!
Great to be back inside Gracies!
Always a memorial night.
Evan our server was outstanding!
Another wonderful evening!
The food was beautifully presented and was very good. Portions are small so definitely get a 1st course. Nice touches IE. palate cleanser between courses and ended w a macron .
we will be back.
Great restaurant one of our favorites in Providence. Policy of requiring patrons to wear a mask when interacting with the staff is unique so far in restaurants that I have been to post-pandemic. I assume that they have their reasons.
My wife and I had the 5 course tasting. The entire experience was 5 stars. The staff was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. The restaurant provided privacy, it was clean, the ambience was just right. I would recommend this to anyone.
Well worth the money for the experience. 5 course with wine pairing was awesome!!
Every visit to Gracie’s is a treat. All of our servers were wonderful and our main server was very knowledgeable and informative with our wine pairings.
Super awesome! They were so nice about my allergy especially when we did the chefs tasting menu, I was really impressed with the food and it made our graduation special,
Delicious food. Good service. Attentive staff. Intimate setting.
Let me preface by saying the food was excellent (5 Star).... well presented and and prepared perfectly. (We had the 7 course tasting along with the wine pairing.) Our only complaint was in some of the service details, I assume largely Covid related. Specifically, the flatware was presented in bulk in a wooden box... dropped off at the table to be distributed by the guests. Additionally, with wine pairing, every wine was served in the same size glass, from whites to reds to dessert. Lastly, we were requested to put our masks back on every time a server came to the table. This was very distracting, as through a 7 course tasting, that added up to an extensive amount of masking and unmasking!
These complaints may seem trivial, but it detracted from the overall experience of a fine dining, multi-course tasting, and frankly were a quite annoying. This was our first visit, and we look forward to dining at Gracie's again, though only after all the Covid restrictions have been lifted.
Great atmosphere and service. The Strip Steak was 2 small medallions of beef, not a steak at all (VERY disappointing) for over $50. We thought "pricey, but its a steak at steakhouse prices..." And we didnt even get that...The steak was ordered medium and served medium; it was not seasoned well and was tough. The RI Black Bass was excellent. The grapefruit sorbet was a nice touch. The "curated bread" (term for two tiny pieces of specialty, delicious bread--it was a "tease" and could have been more generous). We understand that high quality food is best when servings are small to normal portion. The staff and safety precautions were OUTSTANDING! There are too many awesome restaurants in Providence RI to give this another chance.
There is no doubt that the service and quality of food at Gracies is absolutely impeccable. My one issue was with price. I took a chance and had the 5 course prix fixe menu. At $100 per person, I was a little disappointed with the portions. For that price point, I was expecting a bit more substance to the portions. Just a word to the wise. I will absolutely go back, but will forego the prix fixe menu.
Did the 7-course tasting menu. Everything was perfection! We were not hurried at all, so we were able to really enjoy our meal. All the staff were great!
Gracie’s is consistently flawless. I think it would be impossible to have a meal at Gracies and leave disappointed. Their staff is superbly trained and their kitchen prepares one fabulous dish after another. It is always worth saving room for their desserts because they are all prepared at their sister bakery and they are worth every calorie.
We have high expectations when dining at Gracie’s and are never disappointed
This was our first time dining at Gracie’s. We did make a reservation in February to show up and find the restaurant closed. Without canceling our reservation. The wait staff did not properly explain the menu. She merely asked for allergy information and starting bringing food. Never dining at this restaurant, not knowing what to expect I was brought food I disliked. I was told to look at the menu but never asked to order off the menu. It felt as though we were served food left over in the kitchen that wasn’t even enjoyable. We have eaten at fine dining restaurants in the past, but I would not recommend Gracie’s. Overpriced. Not to mention the livable wage tip added to the bill. No wonder the service was awful. No motivation to provide excellent service.
Gracies it’s truly one of the most enjoyable restaurants on the East Coast. The food is delicious and their service is flawless and unobtrusive. Their prices are reasonable and they anticipate your needs before you even realize you have them. The chef uses fresh local ingredients in an innovative way but there is nothing pretentious about the restaurant. Gracie’s is relaxed and comfortable and welcomes you like family.
One of the finest meals ever! The food was creative and perfectly prepared. Service was exceptional and inconspicuous. The extra touches including the sorbet and macaroon finale were perfect!
This was our first time eating out for a full year. We were a bit nervous about being seated too close to other people, especially unmasked. Gracie’s made us feel very safe. Our temperature was checked as we came in, and we were seated in a corner table away from other diners. The waitress was excellent, and also made us feel comfortable.
The food was amazing! We had the five-course tasting menu. The wine pairing was wonderful - along with the expert descriptions. My husband doesn’t drink and they had a mocktail pairing. I was jealous of the creative beverages, and almost wished I had chosen to go that route. All-in-all a perfect foray to post-Covid dining.
Love love love Gracie’s. Always incredible service and quality of food in impeccable.
Things, due to covid, have changed many of the perks at Gracies. No valet service or coat checks. Taking masks on and off repeatedly do to the many servers who come to your table was disruptive to conversation. The serving of foie gras we received was 1/4 the size of normal servings we have received there. We love the foie gras at Gracies. Gnocchi is also terrific at Gracies, but the addition of shrimp to the dish was not tasty to me. I was offered two other dishes that were not up to par for Gracies. I was also wondering if they changed their blend for coffee....
AMAZING food! Great place, beautiful restaurant. You get what you pay for.
2nd time back to Gracie's and was not disappointed by the beautifully presented and wonderfully delicious chef's tasting menu and cocktails! Overall, the experience was lovely but lacked the *magic* we felt the first time. Unlike our first visit, this time they were 30 mins late seating us (reservation was for 8:30pm and we were sat at our table at 9:05pm) though the host did offer us a complimentary glass of prosecco while we were waiting which was a kind gesture. One of our favorite memories of Gracie's was the excited and engaging server we had the first time. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case a few nights ago. Our server did not engage in any conversation and on a few occasions did not explain the course we were being served--which left us a bit puzzled as to what we were about to eat. They were friendly but appeared uninterested which can really dampen the mood. Would still love to go back but maybe not as soon as we had originally hoped.
Dinner was fabulous! We all enjoyed our meals and the duck was especially scrumptious. The wait staff is always so attentive and knowledgeable. I am so impressed with how they have handled 'health and safety" so felt good about eating indoors and outdoors was also an option. Thank you Team Gracie's!
Was wonderful. The card from the restaurant was really thoughtful. Glitter on table, too. Appreciate it very much.
Had a wonderful meal at one of our favorite restaurants in Providence. After not dining out for months, it was such an incredible treat. Had the scrumptious foie gras for an appetizer followed by a delicious carrot and parsnip soup.
My entree was a perfectly cooked duck breast with red cabbage. Absolutely delicious
And capped the meal off with a chocolate caramel tart and an amazing decaf cappuccino. Still one of the best restaurants in RI. Plus it was great to see all of the wonderful servers (and our favorite Sarah!), the maitre’d and the amazing chef and sour chefs.
Outdoor dining (with heat lamps) is available for people like myself who are still a little hesitant about indoor dining.
Definitely worth a trip
Gracie’s outdoor seating was an excellent alternative during COVID. They had heaters which kept us nice and toasty. We were accompanied by a gentlemen playing the accordion, which set a lovely ambiance. We enjoyed the 5-course tasting menu and enjoyed every bite!
If you go out for dinner for a taste treat, Gracie’s is for you. Started with the sweet potato gnocchi. Light and fluffy, delicious. My husband had the steak and he is very hard on restaurant that serve steak and he enjoyed every bite. I had the most unique winter vegetable plate ever. Whether you are a vegetarian or not order this dish even as a side. It is an absolute delight, every bite.
Always a delightful experience. Every bite is worth savoring. It can be a bit pricey but the overall value is unbeatable, you'll be talking about your experience for weeks to come. Highly recommend the 7 course chef tasting, lasts about 3 hours and the relaxation and diversity of food is truly amazing
Fabulous ambiance service and food. Perfect for a special night out.
The staff here are always so brightly enthusiastic about the food and culinary culture they embrace. It will forever be my favorite in Providence.
Dining at Gracie's is always the best. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for excellent food, ambiance, and service.
