Our menu offers 3 different styles of dining. Wheat-free dinner rolls and hand-made gluten-free pasta are always available. Most of our menu items can be made gluten-free with little or no modifications. Vegetarian and vegan options are well thought out and composed. We make our own vegan pasta, too. Gracie’s team is trained to accommodate food allergies and a wide range of dietary restrictions.
Gracie's is conveniently located in downtown Providence, across the street from Trinity Rep, and a short walk from PPAC, The Dunkin Donuts Center, and The Rhode Island Convention Center. Brown University, RISD, Johnson & Wales University, and Providence College are also close by.

My date and I dined at Gracie’s during PVD restaurant week. What a wonderful decision. Everything that we tried was delicious, and the waitstaff was very knowledgeable and attentive.
Amazing food and service!
We were sitting by the windows and it was quite cold. It was very cold outside, but it was uncomfortably cold if you weren’t wearing a jacket or sweater. Otherwise, dinner and service was fantastic.
Gracie's - wonderful as always for those special occasions.
It was—once again—awesome! Great in every way. It has become a tradition to go after Saturday matinee at Trinity. It is always a wonderful adventure. And huge value received. Thank you!
Service was very good. Food was wonderful. Wine pairing was well done, fun, educational and tasty. Catered to allergies in our party wonderfully.
Gracie's is simply one of the top three restaurants in Providence. The food is exciting and creative, and absolutely delicious, fresh, local. The service is impeccable - truly impeccable. I have eaten there many times, but most recently went with one other guest and every dish we tried was interestingly paired and delicious. When I asked about one of the wines by the glass I was offered a taste of two of them. I wanted my after dinner espresso with the dessert, and it happened.
The restaurant week discount made the meal amazingly inexpensive considering the experience. Go!
I hadn't been to Gracie's for years, but recently had heard good things about it so decided to give it a try. When we arrived we discovered it was Restaurant Week and so ordered from that menu. Our server (Gabriel, I believe was his name) was thorough and pleasant as he introduced us to the entire menu. When we chose from the RW menu, he seemed genuinely pleased we were going to take advantage of the specials. We were offered four different kinds of bread which were all outstanding. The amuse bouche that were served before, during and at the end of our meal were also quite tasty. Our first course was the beet salad which we both ordered saying "We love beets!" It was good, however we both wished the beet chunks had been cut smaller so the flavor of the dressing could have more-thoroughly blended. My friend ordered the duck and was very impressed calling it flavorful, juicy and perfectly cooked, while I had the swordfish which I thought a bit overcooked and not complemented texture-wise by the potatoes that were served with it. Our desserts, the chocolate and the ginger cake, were both excellent in flavor, texture and beautifully presented.
So, though not what I would consider a perfect dining experience, I would certainly go back. I thought the meal was a great value and we both commented positively on the quiet, warm atmosphere and the attentive service.
One of the best meals I've had in a decade. The service was attentive, kind, and gracious. And the food was out of this world.
Outstanding food and service. Best restaurant in Providence. The staff is terrific -- very attentive and knowledgeable about both the food and the wine. Tasting menus are a delight with interesting and creative dishes.
The Gracie’s team was excellent, from the phone call confirming our reservation for our anniversary dinner, to arranging for a beautiful bouquet of flowers (from Flowers by Semia), to the attentive service from Gabriel, Mark, and other staff members, and the perfect wine pairings from Alan to go with the wonderfully prepared food. A perfect evening!
Service was phenomenal as always. Loved that added touch of an amuse-bouche or palette cleanser between courses. The desserts are always my favorite but entrees are delicious as well. Love the price fixed menu.
As usual, the food at Gracie’s didn’t disappoint. The wine pairings for the chef’s tasting menu were beautiful and made the experience even better.
We had a wonderful birthday dinner at Gracies. The service was great and the food was delicious!!!
We both had the duck which was fabulous.
It's like being welcomed into a friend's home! Service is impeccable, food is exquisite and desserts are creative. Just go! You will not be disappointed.
Always an amazing experience, and this meal was no exception. Food, wine, and cocktails were all spectacular. It's hard to pick a favorite. The team always makes you feel right at home and takes care of all of your needs.
Had a very fine meal before gong to the theater. Staff was very accommodating and mindful of our time, but not in any way rushed.
Another outstanding trip to Gracie's. The restaurant is beautiful, waitstaff is outstanding, and food is as good as there is in the State of Rhode Island. A special thank you to Gabriel and his supporting team for making our night outstanding - a truly great dining experience in Downtown Providence.
Incredible birthday dinner, cheese board and menu items were timely, fresh and full of flavor while cooked to perfection with a beautiful presentation. My cocktail was light and refreshing, a perfect seasonal ‘Cranberry’ concoction.
Had the chefs tasting menu with wine pairings. Absolutely amazing!! Incredible food. Pairings were spot on. Great service.
A~MAZING I've been to a decent number of Hugh end restaurants, but Gracie's is above what I would expect from 4.8/5 stars. I am not being generous, take a couple hundred (it is expensive (dishes range from $40 down to $13)) and go there. Everything, wonderful (and the staff are VERY well educated on the food, I was quite impressed)
A special holiday occasion and fortunately Gracie's had an opening at the right time. Service was attentive, informative but reserved starting with the valet through to exceptional desserts. Gracie's has never failed to deliver an exception meal and evening. We will be back.
My boyfriend and I went to Gracie’s for my birthday dinner and we had an awesome experience! The atmosphere, food, and service was all wonderful. Gracie’s staff made me feel fantastic on my special day!
Outstanding all around! Food, service and atmosphere was better than I could have imagined. Thank you Gracie’s for a great night and a fully belly!
While the apps and main dishes were good, the highlight was the dessert
We always have a great time at Gracie's! The food is delicious and the service is outstanding!
Amazing food, amazing service, one of our favorites. Tried the 5 course tasting for the first time and it was a great good experience.
We have been many times for all sizes of the chef’s tasting menu.
This visit we brought my in-laws, who had never been, nor have have they experienced a tasting menu service before either. The service was incredible & our team happily indulged our request to use my father in laws blue tooth hearing aid device to make sure he didn’t miss a single detail as they explained each wine & each course.
Just an outstanding experience
Gracie's is a real jewel! From the moment I spoke with Anat, who I now know is a Manager, I felt we would be well-cared-for. She and Stephanie made sure our reservation contained the details needed for the service at the table to run smoothly and nothing would be missed. Evan and Maria were our Servers and were outstanding with their care, knowledge and "likability". Everything was very professionally perfect, but personal! This was an excellent experience! The food was amazing! A couple of dishes had unusual combinations of ingredients - but completely synergistic. So delicious! The Chef is, obviously, quite gifted! The wine parings with the courses were spot-on! We enjoyed our dining experience completely!
This was our second time at Gracies and it did not disappoint. The service was extraordinary and one of the most friendliest you will find. They made sure we got through all of our courses on time for the show.
Great food and waitstaff, but we had to wait over 45 minutes after our reservation time because they overbooked.
Food was great very loud to the point you could not hear your conversation
There was a large business group that thought they were in a bar lots of yelling
This is one of the best restaurants in the area. Every mouth full is a taste treat. Great combinations of flavor. Had the autumn squash and apple salad and the trio of vegetables. Magnificent! My husband had the rib eye and also said it was delicious. He is a tough man to please when it comes to "His" steak but they out did themselves. Go and enjoy a great meal.
Great food, exceptional service, many little "extras". Free valet service, pick-up after the theater is a nice plus. We even got an "extra" from the valet (cookies left in the car).
The waitstaff and restaurant was amazing. Perfect for a night out as we went to see a musical at PPAC.
The staff and valet went above and beyond all expectations
Gracie’s is a restaurant that consistently lives up to its reputation as one of the best restaurants in Providence (and I would say all of Rhode Island). It is a fine dining experience, but not pretentious. The servers are all personable and kind, the food is outstanding, and even though it’s an expensive meal, it’s worthy of the cost. **also, you won’t leave hungry, as is the case with other tasting menus / high cost options in RI.
On a scale of five, they’re a 10.
We went for dinner on a Friday night. Service is excellent. Anot wonderful. Everything (food, drinks) were fresh and expertly prepared. It is expensive but worth it for a special evening out.
I have to say the food was excellent. Tables are too close to each other and I can hear the peoples conversation next to me clearly. If you don't mind the privacy then it's a great restaurant.
I visited Providence on a one-time, weekend trip with my girlfriend... Could not have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, the meal was simply incredible. The staff was very attentive throughout the entire meal, walking us through their menu options and offering delicious hor d'oeuvres along the way. The food also speaks for itself.
In my view, a trip to Providence is not complete without a visit to Gracie's.
