It was my wife’s birthday. We like to sit at the bar. Food is always amazing, service is the best. Highly recommend, it’s our favorite place
Amazing food and great service. Will go again! Our waiter was very knowledgeable.
Wonderful from start to finish.
Awesome as always. Now a tradition to go after Trinity matinee.
Gracies never fails to deliver. A very special treat in honor of St Patrick’s Day was an amuse Bouche, a mini Reuben sandwich. It was outstanding.
Food looks beautiful, tastes better. Service divine—attentive not obtrusive.
You can tell. I’m a huge fan!
Gracie's has long been our favorite restaurant but on our last visit for my husband's 75th birthday the staff went far beyond what I'd come to expect. The meal was wonderful--no surprise there--but the extras they added for the occasion were gracious and kind and very much appreciated. Gracie's is a 10 star restaurant!
Excellent food. Excellent service. In a league of its own.
It is the best dining experience I have had in months. Service was amazing ... staff approachable, kind and respectful. Never rushed. Atmosphere exciting and awesome. Food amazing. Inspiring and uplifting experience. We talked about it all day yesterday. Owner Ellen is a class act and Rhode Island holds a treasure in this restaurant. From reservation to picking up the car at valet, it was what a night out should be! We love Gracie’s!!!
Gracie's is one of the best restaurants in Providence! The chef loves to experiment with new tastes and it's shared with you throughout the meal! I highly recommend the duck. Sooo good!
Uncommonly good, real talent in the kitchen
A great find
We will return
Charming atmosphere and delicious food. We enjoyed the cozy ambience, jazzy music and the company of nearby diners. The amuse bouches between each course were a pleasant surprise. Service was attentive and personalized, splitting our first course for us and offering complimentary baked treats on our departure. Thank you, Gracie's, for a lovely evening.
We had a fabulous dinner this week at Gracie's! It was our first time to dine there. The food on the tasting menu was inventive and perfectly prepared, and the service was absolutely first rate. Elizabeth, our server-sommelier, gave us expert advice on cocktails and wine selections, and was a delight to spend time with throughout the evening. Overall, an evening to savor...we'll be returning regularly.
Hard for me to believe that I have dined in Providence for years and this was our first visit to Gracie's. In a word, Gracie's was exceptional. Everything from the greeting to the cookies awaiting us in our car when the valet brought our car to us at the end of the evening made our experience truly the finest dining experience in Rhode Island. Only in NYC have I experienced this type of dining experience. From the amuse-bouche to the intermezzo we loved it all. The octopus appetizer was outstanding as were our entrees (pasta and Duck) both expertly prepared and served. Desserts were also exceptional and I highly recommend the assorted cookie and confection assortment (perfect for 2 to share) as a great way to end the evening. Importantly, while exceptional culinary arts, Gracie's was not pretentious. Will definitely be back and I highly recommend to make any occasion extra special.
Our group had the swordfish, cod, rabbit and rigatoni with sausage entrees, and all four agreed it was the best version of each item we'd ever had. My swordfish was beautifully cooked, and the leek and potato side was so interesting and tasty. My husband noted several times that the rigatoni he ordered was the best he'd ever had. I sampled our friends' cod and rabbit and would not hesitate to order either next time we're at Gracie's. Our server Sarah was very informative and friendly.
I appreciate all the effort that went into my husband's bday dinner tonight
Did the 7 course dinner with wine pairings. Absolutely amazing!
Lovely time. Only complaint was the pairing of a sparkling rosé with the cheese. Otherwise lovely!!
My only comment is that tables for two are very close.....we were able to hear the next tables conversations.
Birthday with friends. The five-course chef’s choice with wine pairings was superb!
Beautiful restaurant, fantastic food and service.
Few words sum it up excellent, great staff attention to detail
Fresh and delicious! The wait staff was amazing. Highly recommend!
Gracies is simply the best restaurant in Providence.
Service is professional and they do treat you like"family" in the sense that they want you to have the best experience possible.
Food...extraordinary...flavors, presentation just meld to perfection.
The wine pairing was amazing too.
Our "go to" place for celebrations as well as just a wonderful evening out.
Fabulous. Amazing melange of flavors in every dish. From the kumquat ricotta cheese marcona almond amuse bouche through to the three course dessert tasting offering. Chef’s choice. To die for! Ian a great server. Thanks.
We were there on a busy Saturday night. Food was very good especially the duck entree. Service was outstanding. Valet parking is helpful especially when going to a show after. Pricey... good for occasionally night out.
Great meal at Gracies.
The menu was blind and the portions were tapas sized (small plates). Everything was VERY Tasty! Very creative menu that tasted great together. Not so sure about the surprise part. It was fun and we had no regrets though. Just not enough food portions to say it was a good value. We had the 5 course meal with wine pairing. The courses started with a crabmeat appetizer. Maybe 1 oz of crab. Very good, but just a couple of bites. Next course was a Cavatelli Pasta. This was wonderful. Very tasty. Our favorite dish of the night. Maybe 3 oz portion. Next was a sea bass. Maybe 2 oz of that. Very good. Then a Venison dish. Wonderful but maybe 2 oz total. Last was a delightful desert. A curd with granola and a very small (maybe 1 oz) portion of ice cream. My wife was not happy about the lack of vegetables. A few sprigs of green here or there. Not enough to say we got a whole portion of a vegetable.
The wine pairing was like a 2oz glass with each course. In total it was about 2 glasses of wine in total. I should have ordered another glass in addition to the pairing to be enough. Everything was very good, but I felt like I left hungry after dropping $180 on my meal (x2). If each course was maybe an oz or two more it would have been perfect. Service and atmosphere was outstanding. No issues. It would have been 5 Star across the board if the portions were a bit larger.
The food was amazing! The staff was wonderful from beginning to end. We booked there because a nearby place that we enjoy had no reservations open. Now we have a new FAVORITE restaurant for special occasions!
The food and staff were terrific! We highly enjoyed our experience and recommend Gracie’s.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The waitstaff was very attentive, explained everything about our tasting. The food was amazing, simply amazing. The night was a win across the board and would recommend this experience to anyone.
Good food and great service. Would definitely repeat if we find our way back to Providence.
Gracie’s food and atmosphere was perfectly orchestrated, and what I mean by that is the food was stylish and so flavorful and the look of gracies was calming and inviting. You could hear your company and yourself talk at a perfect distance , and it seemed like everyone around you was in there own conversation as well. If there is an algorithm for the perfect dining experience I think Gracie’s has solved it!
Suchhhhh a fun night! I felt like I was traveling to another country for the night. Amazing service! This restaurant really knows how to give you the DINING experience! Yass 👏🏻 And the cookies in the car .... omg that was the best surprise ever! Can’t wait to go back! Shoutout to our server, Gabriel. He was so fun!
Gracie’s never disappoints. We enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu with wines. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about every pairing and the pacing of the meal was perfect. I particularly enjoyed the venison and the foie gars. We had a great meal!
Wonderful as always!
It was a wonderful experience, from beginning to end. Hands down my favorite restaurant in RI.
Another wonderful evening of food and wine at Gracie's. We chose the 7 course tasting dinner and were completely satisfied with both the variety of the courses and the wine pairings. Well done!
Amazing, the waiter was very knowledgeable about the wines and food pairing. The food was excellent and the set menu was excellent for my not so adventurous wife. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a culinary experience in providence.
Gracie's is at the top of the restaurant game. The tasting menu was innovative and bursting with subtle flavors and textures. The wine pairing with the tasting menu was spot on. Gracie's is definitely a restaurant for those who wish to savor food in a quiet warm atmosphere. My wife and I would highly recommend Gracie's as a go to place for those special occasions.
Second time at Gracies for a special occasion. My first time was wonderful but what a disappointment with the service this visit. Gabriel G was so disengaged. Just handed us the menu not even a welcome then came back and asked what we wanted. He never came to the table again until it was time for dessert . Thanks for an outstanding support wait staff that made us feel welcomed and asked how was the meal or if we needed anything. The food is good but expensive. I don’t mind paying top dollars but the service needs to be excellent; which it was in the past. I would hesitate to recommend for a special occasion because it’s a hit or miss with service and you would not want your evening ruined by a waiter.
Had the chef’s tasting experience. All the courses were great.
Never offered a refill on coffee at end and waiter disappeared when bill with credit card sitting on table waiting to pay bill .
Manager walking by picked it up and ran credit card for us so we could leave to get to theater
