If you have a special event to celebrate, certainly Gracie's should be on your list as a top priority.
Their entire staff is involved in assuring that everything is perfect; this includes the car valet, the receptionist , the person who brings your bread and water, the restaurant manager, the wine manager and the wait staff. The presentation of the food, the taste of the food, the lovely desserts, all with the perfect wine is beyond compare. So for your next special event, GO TO GRACIE'S

Foie gras should have been more seared. Duck confit was excellent! Creme brûlée superb.

We visit here, not enough. It is excellent every time and worth the trip into Providence from Foxboro MA every time. The 5 or 7 course experience with wine is the way to go. They create and pair with expertise leaving only the decision of 5 or 7 courses to me, brilliant.

The staff is always attentive, there when you need them and virtually invisible when you don’t, what you would expect of a place of this caliber.

Gracies, you always exceed expectations and I look forward to return again soon.

Food is excellent as is the service from each member of the wait staff. Portion sizes are very small for appetizers, but the quality is excellent. Their sister bakery provides an item to leave with for free (ie. Scone, biscuit). If you are going to PPAC for a show afterwards, the valet will let you keep your car in the lot at no charge. Lived in the area for years and wish I went sooner.

Small portions of food that were not more than ok for a substantial price. We have heard some people say Gracie’s is wonderful, but it is nowhere near the top of my list.

Gracie's always delivers an outstanding performance. For being an upscale dining venue, they manage to treat all of their patrons like humans, with warmth and friendliness. The quality of food, drinks, and experience is among the best Rhode Island has to offer. I always look forward to returning.

As usual, Gracie's was flawless. Their seared foie gras first course is a dish that I have fantasized about for the almost 4 years that passed since I was last in Providence. Come here for imaginative food and an impeccable experience.

We had trouble understanding presentation on menu - in hindsight, I wish we had asked waitress to explain some of entrees to us better. My husband ordered a rigatoni pasta dish that was more spicy than he likes or can digest - if he had known how spicy, he would have ordered something else.

The only disappointment is that OpenTable doesn't allow me to give more than stars, because now I am disappointed that previous places I have given 5 stars are put on the same level as Gracie's. Everything was simply AMAZING. The nice touches between courses, the attentive but not overbearing service, the FOOD, and more. We couldn't have asked for a nicer evening.

Beautiful place, front of house manager is great, but wait staff is consistently WAY under-par with very slow service; this was our second and last time I'm afraid. Food was good but not outstanding and it's not cheap. Just too many other places to try out there ... ADVICE: More experiences, friendlier more competent wait staff.

My husband and I were able to enjoy Gracie’s during restaurant week. Our experience was top notch and I look forward to going again in the future. Our meal was delicious and I enjoyed the wine pairing very much. The wait staff was attentive and the ambiance was excellent. The only downside was the place was a bit noisy but that only attests to the fact that the place was packed due to its much deserved popularity.

Gracie’s was, in a word, incredible. I must say I’m embarrassed it has taken living in Providence 6+ years to try this amazing establishment, but I am so glad I did! We this past restaurant week and it was the Perfect time to go, and easily the best deal in the city.
First, a few logistics items before the meal:
-Reservations: these are a Must, especially for Restaurant Weeks. We booked a week in advance and our options were 5pm or 8pm for two.
-Parking: During the week is street parking, valet is only on the weekend.
-Dress: varies significantly by diner, although most prevalent was collared shirts for men and dresses for women. There is a coat check if needed.
-Ambience: quiet, dimmed lighting (we saw more than one person need to use a cellphone flashlight to read the menu) and semiformal, but plenty of tables with 5-8 people seated.
-Seating: Tables and also a first come, first serve bar that serves meals.
Now for the Service and Meal:
-The wait staff is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, and provides excellent recommendations for pairings, but are not overbearing at all.
-We chose to do the Restaurant Week prix fixe menu (35) and wine pairing (30). Table service is cleared and reset with each course, with sorbet to cleanse the palette, a chef’s choice tasting is offered before the appetizer and a macaroon from their bakery (Ellie’s) after the dessert course.
-I chose the Russet Potato Gnocchi, Roasted Atlantic Swordfish and the Crème Brûlée. The flavors were a work of art and everything prepared to perfection, and the portion sizes were perfect.
-Finally, I cannot recommend the wine pairings highly enough. They truly elevate your dining experience to the next level from what is already superb.
It’s a crime against food to not try Gracie’s and see how amazing it is for yourself!

We are regulars and love Gracies. Thought portion sizes were really small, esp swordfish. Flavors all good as usual. Busser was esp good with bread, water, clearing etc. She was right on top of everything. Not sure of her name, but I think she was Hispanic if that helps to give her a shout out.

As always, we had another exceptional night out at Gracie's. This is our Go To restaurant when we want to get pampered and eat a great meal. The wait staff are exceptional. They move seamlessly from course to course without any reminders from us. The kitchen is extremely consistent. Everything is perfectly cooked and properly seasoned. We haven't found another restaurant that compares to Gracie's.

Very strange food. Unique menu, Asked to take Crème brûlée to go. They Said they couldn’t do that dessert to go( Next time just order one and ask for a to go container :) we Get this at capital grill weekly and understand taking it to go, changes the texture and look of the desert. But still Said no they couldn’t. That’s what restaurant week is for to try places to see if you would return... Not my cup of tea, when they seen me not eat anything from any of the 1st two courses. Think a to go dessert would have been considered. Hmm if I ran this establishment it would have.. Make your customer happy esp during restaurant week

What a find! We dined at Gracie's during restaurant week prior to catch a show at PPAC. Each course was delicious and we throroughly enjoyed our dining experience. Our wait team made sure that we were checked out in plenty of time for the show without ever making us feel rushed. We will definitely be back!
