Grace's Table Ratings and Reviews
Cute place in Napa valley! The service was outstanding and the waitress gave us good advices on the choice of wine.
From the roasted beets salad, soup, to the pork belly and halibut, everything was well prepared and tasty. We’ll come back for the cassoulet! Our neighbor ordered it and it looked yummy:)
The signature cassoulet excellent (and makes a great breakfast the next morning). The boudin blanc sausage in it is especially good. We were welcomed warmly into this intimate space, and got excellent suggestions for beverage and entree choices when we asked.
The restaurant was recommended by the owner of the bed and breakfast "The Stahlecker House" I stayed at and I am so glad I took his recommendation! The food was amazing. Had the special that day porkchop with an amazing cherry sauce, the cypress salad started off the meal was so tasty and finished the meal with house made trio of gelato in raspberry, peach and plum😋😋yummy and so refreshing on a very hot day. I will definitely eat there again if I get to Napa again !!
We traveled to Napa to see the Wailin' Jennies at the Uptown Theater.. I thought I should make reservations and I'm glad I did. The restaurant filled quickly and Kelsey was our amazing server. Not only did she know the menu and the special (The OMG Frogmore Stew), Kelsey treated us as if we were the special guests of the evening--perfect. What surprised me beyond her excellent service was other servers also jumped in to make certain we were well cared for as well.
I would heartily recommend Grace's Table and I have already.
Great place. Service and food were excellent. The corn bread and lavender butter were simply outstanding, We had 3 different entrees, and all were well prepared, good presentation and delicious. This would be a "goto" restaurant for us if we didn't live 2500 miles away. Recommend to anyone!
The four of us enjoyed the corn bread to start and then two split the beet salad and one had the squash soup. For dinner, the two gentlemen split the cassoulet which was a good idea since the portion was huge. I had the ahi tuna salad, quite a small amount but fine since I had already consumed a cup of soup. Our other companion had the crab cakes and onion rings. The latter were delicious (we all tried them) but the crab cakes had too much filler, according to our friend. We brought our own Napa Valley wines since the corkage fee was a very reasonable $10 per bottle. Noah provided friendly and generally efficient service. The complimentary coffee ice cream to split was a nice touch. Overall, a very nice evening.
We made a reservation for two for 6pm. When we arrived all the tables were full and thus seated at the Bar. The explanation was that "Any reservations received after Sunday would be seated at the bar." We ended up having a very nice time but no where in the reservation did it indicate we would not get at real table.
no other complaints.
We made a reservation for a Valentine's Day dinner at Grace's table through Open Table. We had been there twice recently for breakfast and enjoyed it. We arrived on time at 5:30pm. The hostess asked us when we had made the reservation. We had made it the day before on Monday. She then informed me that anyone that made a reservation after Sunday could not sit at a table, but could only sit at the bar for dinner. No mention of this when we made the reservation. We were shocked and angry! All I could think of was GREED. It's one thing to offer the bar seating to walk ins, another to let people think they had reserved a table when in fact the plan all a long was to seat them at the bar. We left and will NEVER return. It was too late to make a reservation elsewhere by then.
By the grace of God, we walked down to Norman Rose Tavern a block away. They were able to seat us at a table and we had a wonderful Napa Valley dinner.
Great restraunt have always had great experiences here with great food and service. Went tonight for Valentine's day and it took about 10 minutes before we were asked if we wanted something to drink. Once we placed our order for drinks appetizers and dinner it took about 50 minutes before we got any food. Once we said something things started moving. To be fair they were really busy and I feel like they were under staffed. I will return but I feel that they need to do a better job with properly staffing the place on busy days.
Had dinner before we went to the show at the uptown theater which is only a short block from the restaurant
The service was very good as was the food. I had eaten there before but it was the first time for my friends and they loved the place. We left saying we would be back soon.
We booked at least a week ahead of the date. However upon arrival on that day, we found that the place was closed for renovation. We should have been informed about this ahead of time either by the owner or Open Table. I am very disappointed by the experience especially an embarrassment to me and a big disappointment to my guests from abroad.
I have eaten at Grace's Table a few times before and when taking friends to Napa for their first time I scheduled a dinner here. We were there for a friend's birthday and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal and service. The Iron Skillet Cornbread with Lavender Honey Butter is a must as a starter. I had the pork belly and goat cheese appetizers as my meal and both were perfect. Everyone else commented on how the flavors came together. Service is good but not great (20% tip). Corkage fee is $10/bottle which is very reasonable. This is one of my staples when in Napa and a very good value.
We tried Graces Table on a recommendation from one of our favorite tasting room experts at Pina Winery. She highly recommended Graces Table over some of the more well known restaurants in the area. It was located just a $12 Uber ride from Silverado Resort. We arrived at 7:30 and we were greeted and sat immediately by a very friendly staff. The menu was a bit limited but I will tell you that everything was fantastic. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and steered us in the perfect direction. Between the 4 of us, we tried at least 10 menu items and all of them were outstanding. Wines paired with the food perfectly and I thank our server for that. By the time we left, we felt like part of the family and wanted to go back again soon.
My husband and I wanted to try a new spot for our date night. We are foodies, and wanted a more neighborhood feel than the very nice, but expensive tourist destinations in the area. What we found is that we didn't spend less $$ here, the food was okay, not as amazing as the price tag,our waitress was nice, but not very attentive and probably had too many tables. There were many children in the restaurant for dinner, and one couple even gave their child a whistle to entertain themselves....really? Not recommended for a date where you want to speak to your date, maybe better option for lunch or brunch. I am tired of restaurants that want to charge the prices of their higher quality peers, but not deliver the same quality experience and product.
Touted for locally sourced organic eats. It is a bistro with windows that open to street dinning. It isn't quiet or romantic dining. The food is attractive but the taste sometimes misses. For example delicious chicken portions sit in watery over steamed veggies. Can't the chef see that? Recently I had a a Mex dish that was super attractive but taste was black pepper hot atop bland stuffing. Almost any cheap Mexican restaurant gets this stuff better. We live in Napa and dine out very frequently.
