Excellent food. One of the best chinese restaurants in the DMV. The ambiance is great and the service was excellent. Menu recommendations includes phenomenal crispy beef and asian style lamb chops. Both were cooked to perfection. The calamari is also top notch.

Very accommodating. Great ambiance and service. The food is amazing. I'll never order a spring roll from my local takeout joint again! Everything was fabulous. We will be back.

Oh my do we miss Mr. K's, Washington's top Chinese restaurant of its time. But Grace's Mandarin comes awfully close. The restaurant is beautifully appointed and the food is outstanding. We had a variety of typical Chinese/American dishes--an excellent lettuce wrap , vegy spring rolls, wonderful crispy beef, togarashi with brown sauce and a melt in your mouth angus filet. Great waiter who checked on us just the right amount of times and kept our ice tea glasses without the need to ask. We have been here a few times before and this experience reminded us why we need to come more often.

Everyone enjoyed their meals for my daughter's birthday. We had Indonesian fried rice, Malaysian chicken curry, eggplant, pad thai, house fried rice, chicken wings, sushi, fried dumplings and everything was delicious! Some of the portions were on the small side for the price but the serving containers were original and creative, which added a festive flair to the meal. The server was very pleasant and attentive in refilling our water and checking in with us.

I come here for my sushi fix and the Kung Pao Chicken. I do love the decor, the nice touch with the hot towels before/after dinner and the ambiance. The service isn’t impeccable, but always good. We were there to meet family; it probably wasn’t the best option, given the noise level, but it was better than the noise level at Redstone or Granite City. The food was a little salty this time, but overall a good experience, as usual. I will return.

Truly magnificent ambiance in this wonderful three floor restaurant with top notch mostly Chinese restaurant. Food was high quality, plated well and cooked perfectly. Expensive, but that is reflective of the neighborhood as well as the presentation. I would go back there again.

Absolutely beautiful place. Wonderful staff. Delicious food. I will say that the food, while good, I'm not sure if it was worth the larger price tag. $28 for organic teriyaki chicken, it was good but I've had cheaper that tasted I would dare say better. $4 for a fountain drink is high as well. It's hard to find such amazing staff and ambience though. So clean and you can tell they care.

Food and service was amazing. It was my first time at the restaurant and I relied on the waitress recommendation. Salt and pepper wings as an appetizer and lychee drink started the meal. I order the mandarin shrimp with a side of shrimp soba noodles and he flavors were amazing. Ended the meal with a cup of green tea and the mugs you drank out of was great. Service was also fast. I highly recommend.

This place way over promised and grossly underdelivered. For what they charged, I expected gourmet cuisine but what I got was something from Panda Express. The view is great, as is the decor, but that is about it. I would rather visit the location near Lanham.

Crispy beef is amazing! My favorite! Ambiance is beautiful. The only downfall is that there is no sound barrier. It gets very loud and it’s hard to hear when you’re eating dinner, but that doesn’t deter me from going there. It’s a must try!

We had a table for four and each had a different dish. All of the meals were excellent. The food in all respects was excellent, right temperature, presentation, portion size, etc. The prices were quite reasonable for such good food. The restaurant decor was interesting and the noise level wasn't too bad, although it was a little difficult to hear everyone at the table. Our table was situated in a thoroughfare that wasn't wide enough and one diner had to move his chair when someone came by - awkward and unnecessary positioning as the restaurant was large. For an excellent restaurant the service was not so good. Overall, the service was adequate but our main waiter was barely adequate - didn't notice water glasses to be filled, didn't remember some things about our order, etc. He seemed a bit out of it. As an example, I included the tip (15% instead of 20% or more) on my credit card, but when I looked at my credit card bill online, he had forgotten to add the tip. I called the restaurant to see if I could add it, but couldn't. Despite this mild problem of service, I would highly recommend this restaurant as everything else was great.

Atmosphere is cool. Food was okay. Kind of weird that an Asian food place had crab and cream cheese won tons with shredded cheddar cheese on top? Tasted odd. Not a fan. And this was the only Asian place where i have seen a charge for tea. $5 for a cup of tea seems steep. My co-worker thought the waiter should have mentioned that the cost Waiter was very nice. Loved the scented hot towels provided before and after the meal. Manager was not friendly, she was actually quite rude to my co-worker.

We love Grace Mandarin. Just be aware it is very loud and crowded. Even with a reservation we had to wait 20 minutes. The food is good. Not outstanding, but certainly better than your garden variety Chinese restaurant. The servers are always on top of everything. The location and vibe of the place are worth it.

The food was amazing as well as the service! The atmosphere was a 10! However if you’re looking for a quiet or calm environment to talk to your date I wouldn’t suggest this place! I wish we could’ve had a quiet spot to eat or maybe we was close to the speaker. Overall this restaurant is amazing!

We enjoyed this restaurant that we came back during our 4 day stay in the area. The wait staff were attentive (though a bit anxious to move us along). the food could have been hotter (both temperature and spice) Nothing listed as spicy actually was spicy but everything was flavorful. the decor is lovely.
