Went here for dinner before a show at the MGM. It was the perfect date night.
Beautiful restaurant with a great view of the Potomac. The food was fresh and delicious. The desserts were beautiful and very good. The only negative on the food was my fish was a bit overcooked. Everything else was great.
Small portions for lunch. Ordered the Asian lamb chop with string beans - there was exactly one string bean! Lamb chops are small and only 4 of them. I was hungry after I left.
A little pricy for locals. Food was good but not breathtaking .. I spent $24.00 for 4 egg rolls.. lol 4 egg rolls
Fantastic service and food! Very good sushi and many other options. 5/5
Great food and atmosphere. Waiter, Clydr, very pleasant!
Fabulous from the moment we walked in. Decor, ambience, service, all wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious! I would go back again in a heartbeat.
Great time for Valentine’s Day! Food was amazing and timely and we enjoyed our experience
We frequent this location often and decided to go for Valentine’s Day. It was the typical crowd. The food was not as good as it typically is and quite overpriced for the night ($200 without gratuity) for two with a prefixed menu. We did have a nice window seat.
The decor is beautiful and the food is delicious!!! The servers are very polite and accommodating!!
Overly priced for Valentine’s Day !
It was a nice night. I wish management had given the ladies a rose. It would have spoken volumes on Valentine’s night.
Great Valentine's Day menu; excellent service. Will gladly go back.
Food was ok. Nothing special.
Grace’s Mandarin is my favorite restaurant. The food is fabulous. I took two of my granddaughters ( 14 & 18 years old) there after seeing The Alvin Ailey Dance Theotre. They both thoroughly enjoyed the food as well as the atmosphere. The service is always excellent!!
Excellent. The bar staff (serving the tables there too) was very attentive and nice. The food was great. Get the calamari, crispy beef, and chicken/beef fried rice.
My husband and I came here for dinner before a show at the MGM Theater. Staff were extremely pleasant and professional . Food was very good. Service was perfect. The timing of everything was exactly as it should be. Prices were fair. They were quite reasonable compared to many other restaurants in this area. Some are outrageous! We had the crabcakes (all meat, no filler) and shrimp pad thai. Delicious! Good portions, atmosphere, & experience.
This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend and after reading reviews I was hesitant. The only reason why I went there was because it was the only reservation I could get before the comedy show we were going to see. I went back and forth reading tons of reviews and now I think, "why did I waste my time??!!" The place was AMAZING!!
We had a 7:15 reservation for a party of 4. We waited about 15 more minutes which we didn't mind. The hostess asked us if we wanted to be seated on the lower level which is more casual/informal because of the bar. We opted to wait a little longer to sit upstairs. We had a great window seat with a view of the illuminated ferris wheel.
We all had excellent food. Even my friend, who doesn't like Chinese, enjoyed her Mandarin Chicken. We had awesome passionfruit drinks, crab rangoons, and the crispy beef was awesome! My husband enjoyed his yellowtail, scallops and duck. The portions were perfect. Don't expect huge portions like at take-out places. Yum yum! So glad we went.
This was a Saturday night gathering of friends during Restaurant week. The place was packed. It wasn’t too loud, remained elegant and the service was outstanding! Every menu item ordered by every person in our party got rave reviews. We will definitely be back!
Grace’s has top-notch customer service, food and ambiance.
The service was excellent. She answer any questions, offered suggestions and her timing was great. The food was equally as impressive.
The service and food was excellent. I went during restaurant week but the regular prices are still reasonable.
Probably the prettiest Chinese restaurant I have ever been in. A 3 story tall gold Buddha greets you at the door. Hot towels before and after your meal. A wonderful menu. A bit pricey but all the standards plus some Asian fusion things like baby lamb chops.
Food, service and atmosphere were excellence. Really lovely interior, not crowded during visit in early February. We had a 7pm reservation but they sat us early no problem. The view was of the river which is honestly not much to look at in and of itself, but pretty enough at night with the lights from the Gaylord next door. It was restaurant week and the specials for that were solid although we didn’t take advantage of them. Only downside is it’s expensive- $80 for dinner for two- two entrees and an order of fried rice ($18 for fried rice...), no alcohol and only one soda, plus tip. Food is delicious and prices are to be expected given the location but still, pretty steep.
Outstanding customer service. The food was excellent.
Three friends took advantage of the lunch special during Restaurant Week to try the restaurant for the first time. We all enjoyed the hot and sour soup to start. I had the lamb chops, which were very tasting and served over delicious pasta. It was a good deal and an enjoyable atmosphere, with views of the water. We were quite impressed with the decor, too.
I have eaten at Grace's Mandarin several times over the last 8 years. The food here never disappoints and the location is superb. I have taken my visiting family here every time they come in town. The prices are decent given the location and quality of food. A must stop if you are in the harbor.
Everything was good from the host to the food! I will be coming back soon.
This visit was for lunch during "Restaurant Week", and I must say it was the best of the three restaurants I lunched at in National Harbor during this promotion. Although the menu was limited, the choices gave a good representation of what the restaurant's entire menu encompassed. The only complaint I have is a common one; they tried to serve the entrée before I had finished my appetizer. To me, it is one of the duties of a waitperson to orchestrate the meal, and to insure that the courses are served in a timely manner, in sequence and not overlapping.
The food was great. I will let friends know of the good food and service. My waiter made us feel special. I felt welcome with the first greeting after entering the establishment. Service with a smile.
GREAT DAY, WONDERFUL MEAL. WE were Pleased.
