Amazing place to eat. Attention to detail is something you don't see anymore but here it abounds. From the decor to the food and even the dishes that the food is served on is special. We have eaten here 3 nights in a row. Love this place.
The service was good, not exceptional. Also the same for the food. We will never return because the noise level is way too high. It was not a pleasant evening because of the noise.
Hosted a Bachelor Party and this was the ideal restaurant for the evening. Everything was phenomenal and got feedback from the attendees on what a great pick it was. Made me feel very good and happy for everyone there.
It was wonderful as usual!
We only ordered sushi as we only had an hour to eat before we needed to be somewhere. I told our waitress that we were under a time constraint and she was extremely accommodating! I really appreciated that she listened to our requests and had our food prepared quickly, and once we were done eating that the check was promptly brought to our table. My only complaint was that I didn’t feel the sushi that I ordered was the greatest I had ever had. It honestly was not very flavorful, but it seemed to be of good quality.
Service was very slow. Had a large party of 20 and 1 waiter.
We had reservations for 6:30, but wanted to check out Happy Hour before then, so we got there around 3, which is when their HH starts. We got seated at a highboy by the window right away.
Matthew made us an excellent Manhattan & delicious Bellini. The small bites were really tasty: Crispy Beef, Spicy tuna rolls, (a bit too salty) Singapore noodles and really great lamb chops!
Upstairs, at our window-side table, Jackie served us a fabulous Green Dragon roll and a Surf & Turf, which were lamb chops (yes, we loved them that much!) and crab cake. My husband, who normally doesn't like crab cakes in restaurants because they're usually mostly filler, was very pleasantly surprised -- he kept on eating it, exclaiming, "This is really good!" Jackie informed us that the lamb chops and crab cakes were their specialties & most popular dishes.
We wanted to stay to watch the sun set & felt badly about hogging the table, so although Jackie wasn't rushing us, we ordered dessert -- which we rarely do. It was their Ginger-Lemon-Wasabi Cheesecake, another signature dish. We finished it. :)
The only recommendation I'd make is for the staff to bring out the food in stages instead of all at the same time. Perhaps the staff could ask?
Grace's Mandarin is one of my favorite places to eat at National Harbor, as alway the food & the service is top notch.
Amazing experiance! I took my wife for a anniversary dinner date and lets just say the look, location, views and atmosphere was amazing! Food was mouth watering and many items to choose from , the servers had great attitudes. I couldn't find a single thing wrong. Definitely making our way back and with friends and family.
Love the location and the service was very fast. We arrived earlier than our reservation but we didn’t have to wait.
This is a very busy restaurant, although there was a line to get in we were seated immediately, The ambiance is perfect, like the service we received. I ordered way too much so took a doggie bag home, heated up the ribs the next day, still as delicious as the night before. We visit the DC area once a year and I insist on a meal at Grace’s when in town. LOVE this restaurant.
Awesome service, and food....is now one of my favorite restaurants...
Excennent service and delicious food! The rockfish was great.
32nd anniversary dinner with family. The decor is impressive, the staff attentive, food good.
Excellent choice for a great date night! Loved the atmosphere and good customer service. We were sitting across the street watching the Potomac and Capital Wheel, saw this place had a crowd of folks trying to get in. I told my love that I have the Open Table app, let me see if I can reserve a table... we were in and seated less than 20 min later! They even accommodated my special request for a table near a window! If you love all things Asian (food, decor and amazing hospitality) then Grace’s Mandarin is the place for you!
Fillet mignon main wasn’t fillet mignon at all and at £39 very over priced. Cloudy bay was not cold enough initially and only cooled down after being in ice. Food overall was ok but absolutely not worth the price and never mind an attempt to overcharge us for the kids meals as apparently they don’t do substitutions but failed to tell us that.
Grace's was absolutely wonderful! Great food, great drinks, great place to meet friends. Can't wait to go back!
Superb decor and presentation . Food quality, variety and ambience is 5 Star . Well spaced tables and roomy walkways . Quite nice on all counts . They can easily accommodate large parties without crowding any diners .
The atmosphere was incredible, even with a couple arguing at the next table. The food was good, but didn’t blow my socks off. Overall, excellent spot to enjoy friends and fam.
Very very different and nice
The noise was off the charts! I couldn’t even have a conversation with anyone at our table. I didn’t enjoy dinner at all!
It was my first time and I will be back!
From the greeting at arrival it was a great dinning experience
Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The food was good.
We attended for our first wedding anniversary, and the staff made sure we felt special from the time arrived until we left. The food and drinks were delicious and the service from everyone at the restaurant was exceptional.
Would definitely recommend for a special occasion or a fun date night. The atmosphere, decor and amazing views of the Potomac make for the ultimate dining experience.
Perfect as always! Thank you
Grace's Mandarin has a lovely waterfront view, great decor, totally meant for special occasions or romantic dinners. If it's a big party, be patient, the service can get slow. All in all, a great place. 4.9/5 stars.
Love the food
Dinner with my bride. Excellent meal, service and flavors. A real keeper. Reminded me that I do not eat here enough. Just was god, that's it, no extra need to be something else.
The server Leah was amazing!
Went for my birthday for the first time, felt like I was on vacation or in Las Vegas! Beautiful atmosphere
Excellent service. Great food
Excellent food as always. Service was perfect and it was really quiet because it was on a Tuesday!! Totally love that!!
I have never had a bad dish or terrible service at this place!
Will come again and again!!
Good food and service we're enjoyed - but a bit pricey. Small hot sake was $12, for an example.
Excellent dinner, sushi was amazing, entree was fantastic, the drinks are delicious and made to perfection. Overall excellent restaurant! We ate on the top level with a gorgeous view of the Potomac and the Ferris wheel. Will def return every trip
I took my daughter who loves sushi. We both enjoyed ourselves. We each tried a new entrée and shared. The Shrimp Imperial and National Harbor Fried Rice were delicious. The sushi was perfectly prepared. We will definitely return on our next visit to the area.
I found this place to be excellent for Asian cuisine. If you are into this type of food. I would not recommend for large parties of 6 or more unless you don't mind sitting at separate tables. They do have a large table that will accommodate a party of 20. Over all the food is excellent. I highly recommend for a date night.
Not happy at all, was placed on third floor with a small table and saw many tables available. We were a two party and noticed two party seated after us in the main dining area. Food way too salty for my wife and mine was bland. Table next to us had a party of 10 with eight kids that were loud and disrespectful as hell!! Total disappointment a d will not be back.
Every dish was a hit. Portions have become smaller since my last visit.
