Our server was very rough with the utensils, she never smile and seem to be rushing with everything. I asked if they have natural lemonades and she said NO only the one from the machine with a tone that wasn’t very nice. We didn’t ask for the check and out of nowhere she came and said, split check or 1 check and then brought us the check. I wanted to spend more time with my friends and I felt like they were kicking me out. I asked if I can replace the jasmine rice for fried rice and the server said I have to pay $14 for a regular rice if I wanted something different! Are you serious? I have to pay for 2 dishes because you can’t switch something as small as a side? Please!!! In general, service wasn’t the best. You need more smiles on your employees.
Food was excellent, had the salmon tacos as a starter. Fresh and tasty with fried wonton as shell. Crispy scallops were spicy good and delicious. Wine and cocktails good and reasonably priced. Very loud on 2nd floor.
Our first time here and everything was amazing. This is our new local sushi spot amongst other food options.
Brought a friend for the first time to celebrate her birthday. This was my 4th time visiting and I loved it! Food was amazing as always!
I can't recommend Grace and here is why. The put the tip as a service charge on the bill and if you don't see it, you will tip again, giving a huge tip. No matter the size of your party. Maybe it is a sad state of affairs there that they have such a problem with folks not tipping that they have to put the tip on the check. But the server should make it clear.
The restaurant is beautiful. The food was decent. Table service was terrible and delayed. They stuck a party of 8 at a table meant for 6. We asked for a change, stated we would have to wait an additional 35 minutes. It was an anniversary dinner—nothing special except happy anniversary as we were walking down the stairs. For a $500 dinner—expected better service. Also, plates were not picked so we went for dessert elsewhere.
My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience celebrating our first anniversary. They fulfilled our window seating request and made sure our day was extra special with complimentary champagne and a small gift! The food was incredible and our server was superb. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.
Love this place. I felt like I was in China. The decor is super nice and the food is tasty.
The food, view and service were outstanding. Only complaint is that it was too noisy.
The only thing holding it back was the service. We could not find our waiter. Several times during the meal when we wanted to add stuff on, we had to chase someone down. NEVER checked to see if we were good. Only came when we flagged or someone else down
Very good upscale Chinese food , generous portions and gracious service.
Great food , very cool atmosphere.
Great cuisine and service. The atmosphere was great.
The food is very good. The ambiance of the entire place (from dining room to food plating) is pleasantly engaging. My only complaint is just a nuisance thing - they won't substitute soups if it comes with the meal (even if the same price normally; no option for upcharge...you will pay full price and just not get your included soup).
Seating was horrible. We sat on third floor no view and poor lighting, you can’t read the menu.
The food was very salty .
Chinese delivery is better if you are not going to sit with proper virw.
Too many large party tables at the same time, very noisy. Prices seem to be going up. Great food!
Food was fantastic
Service was subpar
Great service and great good. Had our reservation all set and sat us immediately once we arrived. Nice place!
Great food, views and service! Can't wait to return in the near future!
The salmon was dry and very fishy - smell and taste. I couldn't eat it. The restaurant is very interesting and has fabulous decor. I have eaten here before and remember the food being better. The server was nice. I will probably try it again in the future but for now cannot recommend
The experience was amazing, food was excellent, staff was attentive to our groups needs. I'll be back! Oh, and the Sunset view overlooking the Potomac River into Virginia, WOW!
I enjoy dining at Grace’s Mandarin - Delicious as always!!
My birthday celebration was really nice...appreciate the staff for being accommodating with my late arriving guest...
Try the surf and Turf it was very good. The atmosphere was great and make a reservation so that your table is ready as soon as u get there if not it's a hour wait.
Asked for medium steak and it was well done and tasted burnt. Waitress said seafood was mild but it was extremely spicy. Food was overpriced. $120 for 2 people
I have a beautiful time with my friends at Grace's this weekend
40th Birthday Pre Celebration
Had the best time ever. They will treat you like a King and a Queen. Thank you!
Szechuan fish was outstanding as usual! My fave dish!
We ate at many different restaurants in DC and this place seriously blew everyone else out of the water. Our server was amazing. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was fantastic. It was so good, in fact, that we went back 2 more times.
Celebrated Birthday dinner - received 2 nice gifts !
Great food and overall great experience at Grace’s
The citrus and basil water was perfect. It was a wonderful experience but some items were overly expensive. For example, the shrimp and vegetable tempura appetizer was $17 perhaps because of the two shrimp, but there was no vegetable tempura option. I would have preferred an all vegetable version for $10.
Grace's food is very good, but overpriced, probably because of the location. I would expect to pay at least a third less for these dishes, if not more. While I absolutely loved Grace's when I lived in Bowie, and I tried Grace's at National Harbor when it opened many years ago, I really hoped her prices would rationalize over time. The dining room on a Thursday night was relatively full, so others may not mind. As a local, however, there are many other more reasonably priced choices for this cuisine in the area.
5 of us ordered an assortment of chinese and sushi - all very happy
We ate dinner her for my husbands birthday and they didn't disappoint. An upscale Chinese Restaurant, love the warm towel provided to clean your hands before and after your meal. Great view of the Potomac River and pretty decor. The fried eggplant is delicious as well as the Creme Brulee. My daughter struggled with the chopsticks, our waiter noticed and brought her a pair of learner chopsticks so she was able to eat her meal with chopsticks - making her experience special. Well worth dining here.
Amazing food and service! The sushi was wonderful as were the drinks.
Not your ordinary Chinese Food. Small portions really for single serve and not sharing. Small serving of rice. High prices. But than, that’s National Harbor.
Even my very picky 4 year old liked this place. Chicken goyza was very good. Husband ate every grain with his salmon dinner. My honey garlic shrimp was a good size.
Enjoyed our dinner and drinks.
