Our server was great. Sorry we can’t remember her name. She mentioned that it was her second day. But she was awesome.
Food came out cold multiple times for our large party. We were there celebrating a friends birthday.
Outstanding service from the reservations, to the twice changing the reservations for 14 people and the greeting. The service and food Over the Top.
Love this restaurant that offers great food, service and ambiance.
Nice asian restaurant right on the waterfront drive. Good food, good service - with a nice view from upstairs.
It was amazing... will go back...
Filet Mignon is pretty good, but I've had the rockfish before and I prefer that meal.
Our reservation was honored in a timely manner. No waiting. The portions were very small and the prices were very expensive. Twelve dollars for a single order (2) of small spring rolls. Ridiculous!
I went recently with friends. The decor was exceptional. We all loved the 2 story Buddha, wall water fountain, and, of course, the harbor view. The food was good with a varied selection and fairly priced. The service was impeccable with the only complaint being that the water carafe was left un-refilled. All in all a pleasant experience.
I was here 2.5 years ago and thought it was amazing then. This time I brought 5 other people, they all raved over the food and sake bombs and the bottle of sake we shared. The General's Cauliflower was the hit of the night!
Celebrated my wife’s Birthday and everything was fantastic from the moment we arrived!
Great view, excellent service and delicious food!
Exceptional as always
Our server Jeff was good. Thank you for taking care of us on Wednesday night.
Great ambiance and excellent service, especially for a special occasion.
I ordered the sweet and spicy wings. The wings arrived and were very good looking, but the texture was very hard. I sent them back. I could not insert my fork into them, that’s how hard they were.
Food was varied and quite good - we had a variety, including tempura, soft shelled crab, cauliflower, curry, and hot and sour soup. Excellent table overlooking sunset on the Potomac river (we dined at 5:30 upstairs on the second floor). Our server was attentive and deserves five stars. You are definitely paying for the view (and maybe the service), though, as prices were above average. We enjoyed the evening.
Wonderful. Highly recommend.
Service was on point and quick. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The let down unfortunately was the food. The flavors just weren't that good from the sushi rolls to the prepared dishes such as crispy beef, crab fried rice, or teriyaki chicken. Only one of 7 at our table enjoyed their food. I really want to love it here because I loved the original Grace’s restaurant but I don’t think I’ll be visiting again unless I hear different in the future.
The food was great, however, the lack of a recommendation is based on the automatic addition of an 18% tip. So, go and enjoy the food, but be sure to check you bill!
This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. This is fine dining at its best. The atmosphere was beautiful. I couldn’t help but look around and admire the decor and detail they put into this restaurant. The server brought hot towels for our hands which was a great introduction. The infused water was incredible as well. The food, outstanding. The company I brought said that was the best sushi they’ve had. It was great from beginning to end. I cannot wait to go back!
Run of the mill Asian cuisine at inflated prices. One appetizer was very good. Other apps and mains were bland with no pizazz. Waitress was a robot that wouldn't crack a smile, although she was extremely attentive. Very disappointed with our visit.
The food was Excellent! My wife got the chicken lettuce wraps and said she could have a whole plate just of that. I had the Pepper steak for dinner and it was the best I ever had! Really good! Highly recommend those dishes
Very expensive. Food was not special or worth the price.
My party of 3 sat upstairs on the top level where it was nice and quiet. We had a girls dinner so we were able to actually talk and hear each others conversation. Food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend.
Our server was very rough with the utensils, she never smile and seem to be rushing with everything. I asked if they have natural lemonades and she said NO only the one from the machine with a tone that wasn’t very nice. We didn’t ask for the check and out of nowhere she came and said, split check or 1 check and then brought us the check. I wanted to spend more time with my friends and I felt like they were kicking me out. I asked if I can replace the jasmine rice for fried rice and the server said I have to pay $14 for a regular rice if I wanted something different! Are you serious? I have to pay for 2 dishes because you can’t switch something as small as a side? Please!!! In general, service wasn’t the best. You need more smiles on your employees.
Food was excellent, had the salmon tacos as a starter. Fresh and tasty with fried wonton as shell. Crispy scallops were spicy good and delicious. Wine and cocktails good and reasonably priced. Very loud on 2nd floor.
Our first time here and everything was amazing. This is our new local sushi spot amongst other food options.
Brought a friend for the first time to celebrate her birthday. This was my 4th time visiting and I loved it! Food was amazing as always!
I can't recommend Grace and here is why. The put the tip as a service charge on the bill and if you don't see it, you will tip again, giving a huge tip. No matter the size of your party. Maybe it is a sad state of affairs there that they have such a problem with folks not tipping that they have to put the tip on the check. But the server should make it clear.
The restaurant is beautiful. The food was decent. Table service was terrible and delayed. They stuck a party of 8 at a table meant for 6. We asked for a change, stated we would have to wait an additional 35 minutes. It was an anniversary dinner—nothing special except happy anniversary as we were walking down the stairs. For a $500 dinner—expected better service. Also, plates were not picked so we went for dessert elsewhere.
My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience celebrating our first anniversary. They fulfilled our window seating request and made sure our day was extra special with complimentary champagne and a small gift! The food was incredible and our server was superb. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.
Love this place. I felt like I was in China. The decor is super nice and the food is tasty.
The food, view and service were outstanding. Only complaint is that it was too noisy.
The only thing holding it back was the service. We could not find our waiter. Several times during the meal when we wanted to add stuff on, we had to chase someone down. NEVER checked to see if we were good. Only came when we flagged or someone else down
Very good upscale Chinese food , generous portions and gracious service.
Great food , very cool atmosphere.
Great cuisine and service. The atmosphere was great.
The food is very good. The ambiance of the entire place (from dining room to food plating) is pleasantly engaging. My only complaint is just a nuisance thing - they won't substitute soups if it comes with the meal (even if the same price normally; no option for upcharge...you will pay full price and just not get your included soup).
Seating was horrible. We sat on third floor no view and poor lighting, you can’t read the menu.
The food was very salty .
Chinese delivery is better if you are not going to sit with proper virw.
