We celebrated Mother’s Day-everything was amazing. Mom had a special day-she loved it!
Grace 1720 has always been our "go to" restaurant for Mother's Day, so we were thrilled when we received the notice they were opening on Sunday with limited seating. All personnel in masks and gloves, full menu and everyone was having a great time. Bread basket still full of fresh baked items such as the pumpkin bread, and the food was delicious as always. Look forward to their continued availability and success!
We were able to sit on the patio. The weather and service were perfect. As people are isolating now, we had the patio to ourselves. There was a beautiful fire in the patio fireplace.
As always, Grace 1720 delivered an exceptional meal and a great environment to celebrate. Form the soups, salads, and entrees to the fabulous desserts, we all left satisfied (and full!). This is a can't miss for important occasions.
Had a very nice birthday lunch with 3 friends.
Service was attentive and food was delicious.
We had four people to celebrate and to do some planning over lunch. We had a lovely time. The food was outstanding, the wine very nice. Outstanding was the service! Never intruding, but being passed by every few minutes to refill glasses and removing plates. The staff was excellent and helpful with any questions being answered quickly and making minor changes to menu selections to our whims. We were never rushed and stayed quite a while until we were finished catching up as well. We were also celebrating and they brought out a beautiful dessert for the celebrant. Bravo! Brava!
3 dollar sign pricing with 2 dollar sign food. It was good, nothing amazing. The Caesar salad was all spine and no green leaf. The spinach salad was great. The steak Diane was the only dish of the 4 of us we could all agree was good. The food was good, just not as good as we were expecting. Also, our server was reading the specials over my husband’s shoulder lol... we can read, didn’t need him for that. He was pretty sarcastic, not very mean but a bit off putting.
Dinner was great, the salmon and fish of day were prepared perfectly. James, our server, was attentive and excellent. We had the banana fosters for dessert and it was amazing.
Loved the entire experience! Ambiance was perfect for a birthday celebration. Food was incredible and our waiter was superb! Loved every minute.
I really want to like this restaurant but it just keeps falling short in different categories. The food is good (and sometimes very good) but not outstanding. Definitely overpriced; feel they are 20 to 30% higher than they should be. On our last visit we had a service failure; took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get our entrees. We probably won't be going back.
Excellent dining experience. All course done very well.
Stuffed lobster, aged prime rib on point.
Nice wine selection at fair prices.
Food was nowhere near tasty nor worth the price.
I never write reviews, but this was an exception..... Great food, service, and ambiance..... Looking forward to returning soon.....
Overall a pretty nice experience, but I can’t say I’ll be in a hurry to go back. The gentlemen who seated us was friendly & polite, however he smelled of cigarettes, even his breath. That smell at the table is a huge turnoff for me. The waitress was attentive & friendly. She was very familiar with the menu. She needs to be instructed not to ask patrons such questions as, “Do we know what we want to order? Would we like anything to drink? Have we decided on a dessert?” Whenever I hear this, I feel badly for the person because she or he clearly missed pronoun lessons in 4th—6th grades. “We” is inclusive of the speaker. When the waitress asked those questions, she was including herself (whether she realized it or not). She simply needs to say, “Would you (you all) like dessert? Do you need anything to drink?”
Aside from that, our food was quite good. We will return.
It was Valentines Day. The dinner and atmosphere were great.
Wait service was spotty, including not bothering to offer cracked pepper for our salads or pouring wine, prime rib over cooked, flavors nothing spectacular, no idea why there is a guy singing in the tiny bar where only a few people can actually make out what he is singing and the rest of the restaurant is subjected to just noise. We’ve been to this restaurant numerous times, and we want it to continue to succeed, but it needs to lift its game a bit on all fronts.
This is, one of the best places to eat in Ga. Always recommend grace to people.
Ordered broccoli cheese soup and it was like velvetta cheese melted with some broccoli in it. Terrible, however the server was great
Saturday February 8, 2020, a SNOW DAY in Atlanta. The snow did not put a damper on our warm and wonderful experience at GRACE 17.20. The Saturday 3 course special was very tempting; but, we decided on the Beet salad (split), Beer cheese soup in a bread bowl, 12 oz. New York Strip with diced asparagus risotto, whipped potatoes, and horseradish sauce. We finished our dinner with coffee, chocolate mousse cake, and hot Peach cobbler with a scoop of Greenwood vanilla bean ice cream. The meal, atmosphere, and service were wonderful. Thank you for a splendid pre-Valentine's experience that beat the crowds, as well as our expectations.
The menu is very limited. If you don’t like salmon you are pretty much out of luck on fish.
It was fun. I super enjoyed getting carded
Very good food and service.
Such a great restaurant! Everything about our dinner was perfect. Great food , service was superb!
Will not return or recommend. Absolutely horrific.
Best upscale restaurant in the area, not too loud like many. Seafood Cobb Salad is best I've had, the Salmon is the 'go-to' dish for 3 of my friends. The pumpkin bread is a favorite and can be purchased by the loaf I believe. They've added a few new dishes to cater to the growing vegetarian crowd.
For the most part all was good
My only complaint was my food was not served hot.
Used to love this restaurant. Haven’t been in a few years as I’ve been away. Was excited to go back and was very disappointed with our experience.
Waiter had such strong body odor that we lost our appetites. Waiter got my husband’s order wrong. Waiter spilled an entire glass of water all over our table and one chair.
Waiter brought a 9 oz glass of wine without asking and still charged for it when I questioned it.
Salmon was overcooked. Risotto was gelatinous.
Always a wonderful couples date night...excellent service, nice wine selection and the kitchen never disappoints. I usually go with one of chef's features but the menu has plenty to choose from. Must have the Prince Edwards Island Mussels as a starter and the Pumpkin Bread is additive!
Expectations realized. We had a group of 8 and were placed in a private room which probably kept other diners happy. Service was excellent and the food amazing! I was very proud to host out of town guests here and give them a great dining experience.
Pris fixe menu was extremely limited then they ran out of some of the options. Our reservation was at 7:30 do not late into the evening.
Both food and service were excellent - Pete and Sean are to be commended!
We go ever year on our anniversary and each time they have gone above and beyond for us. Food is excellent, service and ambiance outstanding!
Service was great - very attentive and helpful. We eat here 4 to 5 times a year and never disappointed.
Been dining here for 15 years and it's keeps getting better! The food is amazing.
Love this place! The food is always good and the customer service is excellent!
We went to Grace 17.20 for a pre-holiday dinner and could not have been more pleased. The restaurant staff was attentive but not hovering. The food is always a great value and everything we had was prepared properly. We had a couple glasses of wine each, shared apps, entrees and a shared dessert. The price was very reasonable for level of fare/service. We'll be back.
The food was great and the servers were friendly.
My Christmas luncheon with my assistant was great as always. This is my "Go to place" when I want a nice quiet atmosphere, good food and great service.
Owners were very personable when coming to the table and checking on our experience. Our Server Michayla was attentive, polite and knowledgeable. The food is priced a little steep, but it's delicious. The $15 bottomless mimosas were a good deal.
