Service was excellent as were the appetizers. We had the Gourmet Italia salad and the Bruschetta which was a big portion. The tomatoes tasted home grown and vine ripened. The olive tapenade was house made and delicious. The entrees were good (Veal Marsala and Manicotti) but by no means outstanding. Raymond and Francisco were excellent. It would have been nice to see the owner take a drink order or clear a plate rather than loudly hail for someone else to do it. In hindsight, we would have sat in the piano area, had drinks and shared the Charcuterie tray and some appies.
Loved the ambiance, service and food. The lemon dessert was phenomenal. Our only issue was the chicken in the fusilli. Tough cubes are not up to the standard of this restaurant.

We make it a point to eat here at least every 2 months. Make a reservation to guarantee a table. You won't be disappointed.
I took my friend there for the first time because the restaurant is super nice and the food is good... I was slightly disappointed because I arrived on time to my reservation about 5minutes ahead but had to wait to be seated for 10 minutes. The server was nice but he was too slow in getting the beverages and appetizers out to us and the food took forever to come out. It was disappointing because all I ordered was a minestrone soup and salad and all she had was a manicotti. I would say we arrived at 0725 and we had our main course at about 830pm. Unacceptable! They need more servers or cooks.. That or do not turn over tables so fast that cannot be served immediately.
Great food and service. They arranged a birthday cannoli on short notice as well. Great job GI!
Went to Gourmet Italia the day after Valentine’s Day. Food was great, as always, but waiting 30 minutes when we booked a reservation was not great. And a couple who walked in without a reservation got seated before us, and in the main dining room (as opposed to the hallway where they stuck us), so not sure the utility of planning ahead and reserving. The food is great, and there aren’t a lot of other options in Temecula, but this experience makes me want to explore a bit more.
Went for Valentine's day with my fiancé and we both loved the ambiance and romantic feel of the restaurant and wine lounge. That night was a special Valentine's day four course meal that was simply delicious. Local food and wine included. Live piano music. Very good place.
Valentine’s Day, so unfair to judge. Shoved in an aisle way between two big groups, unpleasant. But the food was fantastic!
Outstanding , authentic Italian. Both lobster ravioli and lasagna were delicious and the Cesar salad was too. Raymond was our waiter and he was amazing!
