This is one of our favorite places, especially to celebrate events, like the start of a holiday season! The food is always excellent, especially the truffle fries! The atmosphere is refreshing to the spirit, and the staff always courteous. The apricot tea is a favorite, as well as the side of fruit with ricotta cheese & honey.

A great dining experience in Johnson City. We have been here before, and we wanted to come back. That’s why last night we decided that our date was going to be in this restaurant. We usually have an appetizer, like shrimp or calamari, but this time we decided to have their mushroom soup. What a revelation! We enjoyed it so much. We would like to go back and order it again. Everything was romantic and beautiful.

I loved my recent experience at Gourmet and Company. Our waiter was courteous and attentive. He was super patient with us as we had numerous questions regarding the menu options. The presentation of our food was wonderful, but more importantly, it was delicious! We will definitely be returning.

Everything about our visit was perfect. From the moment we stepped inside, early, but a table was found, to our knowledgeable waiter. He explained everything on the menu, which allowed us to make informed selections. We had the 4 oz steak and the grouper. preceded by the focaccia bread and pesto. Both were perfectly cooked. We appreciated that nearly all the ingredients were locally sourced. Our excellent deserts rounded off a wonderful evening. Of course we shall be returning!

We always enjoy Gourmet and Company in JC. This time was no exception; there were some new items on the menu (short rib was great) and we had some nice cocktails prior to dinner. As usual the service was great and we plan to be back.

Went Thursday at 6:15. We were the only table in the area for a solid hour. Wasn't busy. Server was kind and helpful. The food is in the top 3 for the area. Had a drink and dessert with dinner. Both were very good. Scallops and beef tenderloin were both cooked perfect. I have no complaints.

Excellent dining experience. The fish specials are always great. The salads are great too. the main dishes are all great. The deswrts are all homemade. the food is often waht is nin season. It is quite pricey but you pay for what you get.

A good overall experience for date night with my wife. The Artisanal Cheese Board was o.k. 3 mediocre cheeses with crostini, but not enough accompaniments. The Heirloom Tomato Salad is out of this world; I highly recommend. Pork & Pickles; the pork belly is excellent, as is the cream corn, & pickled jalapeno. The tenderloin is too smoky to be enjoyable & the grits had an unpleasant taste. The Squash & Corn Fritters were another amazing dish worth eating. Given we have so few upscale restaurants in NE TN, this place is worth your time & money.

We have been coming to Gourmet & Company for years. This particular meal was better than most. My wife had the vegetarian entree while I had the pork and pickles special. Both were great. We needed the night sharing a peach dessert that was fantastic.

Food was exceptional and was quicker than normal. Ambiance is very good with this being a hidden gem. It is well worth the 1 hour drive. Service was excellent with Andrea and the whole staff. It is the best of any restaurant I’ve ever been to.

My low score concerning noise level was due to one particular young lady. Very loud this, of course is not GC fault. Everything else was well worth it even if we had to tolerate one loud diner, bless her heart.

Gourmet provides unequalled dining experience in this area. Menu varies with excellent quality and presentation. Service is consistently attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient. We had heirloom tomato salad, Florida Red Fish, and cocktails. So gooood.
