Food was okay. Not the best but definitely could be better. Atmosphere was cool.
We visited Gossip for brunch before a 2pm matinee of Wicked. It was a perfect location, about 2 blocks from the theater. We had a group of 16 people as we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. We had a large table in the back, it was perfect. The food was delicous and VERY reasonable for NYC. Brunch cocktails were $5-7 and specialty coffees were $4-5. Entrees ranged from $12-18. They had a nice kids menu as well. They sang happy birthday to my daughter and provided a delicious chocolate lava cake with icecream, free of charge. The service was not super fast, but with a large group that is to be expected. The waitress and other staff were very friendly. It was not incredibly busy or loud which to me was a good thing. I would definitely visit this place again before or after a show.
Decent food, and definitely worth the price! It is worth the travel from Times Square to not pay the high prices or fight the congested crowd.
This pub restaurant was a bit disappointing. While a very casual place, it felt like they were understaffed — where the bartender doubled as the waiter. The fish and chips were very bread and not crisp. Their saving grace was the fries and blueberry muffins.
We had a large party of 9 and the waitress was very accommodating. Also, the music wasn’t too loud so we could actually hear each other. The food was great as well and they were able to cater to some of the group’s dietary restrictions.
Went there for Thanksgiving. Food was excellent, especially the turkey, seafood chowder and the “apple blossom” pie. These items are not usually on the menu, but they should be. Service was not stellar, but waitstaff was friendly and sufficient.
We had a lovely Christmas Dinner at Gossip Restaurant. The restaurant has nice decor, relaxed feel and friendly staff. There was a set menu for Christmas Dinner which had plenty of choice and the food was well presented and tasty.
Went for a traditional Christmas dinner, food was great, the atmosphere and decorations were really festive.
Very good service, although busy on Christmas Day but the staff were friendly and very helpful.
Good choice on the menu if you didn’t want turkey.
Would highly recommend
We went to the Gossip restaurant for Christmas dinner. It was disgusting . Starters were ok and dessert was good but the main course was unedible!!
We went for a late dinner after a show. They had a lively atmosphere and good food. The waiter was very friendly and prompt. We had our twelve and fifteen year old with us and it was not a problem.
Went before a broadway play. This was a great spot to have some drinks and apps.
This place is just great. Very favorable prices for NYC. Just a block away from Times Square. Good space inside. Irish comfort food and then some like shrimp gyro. Phenomenal burgers. Our family goes EVERY time we are in the area. Nice beer and cocktails.
Loves the food and the service. We dined with friends for 4hrs and this was the perfect place to meet up. We will be back. Thank you.
Thoroughly enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at an extremely reasonable price. Everything was absolutely tasty. Staff was mixed; slow and trying to rush you out at times. Ambience is simply wonderful; warm and inviting bar in the front and sit down area (with tables and booths) in the back.
We made reservations for a large group for Thanksgiving Day and had a wonderful meal! The food and service were excellent. We would recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
I wanted somewhere to go to experience a Thanksgiving dinner and I wasn't disappointed. Really good, home style cooked food, very tasty. Quick, friendly service. Worth a visit!
Gossip was a nice little place before a show that didn't break the bank. Food was good, service was good and it's not in the Heart of Times Square so it wasn't PACKED!!!
We enjoyed the Irish staff & atmosphere. A perfect Guinness pour and very good traditional food.
The portions were surpringly big. We had a show at 8pm and the server was great about getting us our food & the bill quickly
This is the perfect place to go to before a broadway show or before any event. My mom, sister, and myself went to Gossip for brunch and it was wonderful. First of all, they have an $18 bottomless drunk drink option (mimosas, bloody marys, and some other drink I can't remember). I didn't do the deal BUT I had 2 mimosas and they were strong so I definitely plan to go back. It's your typical bar aesthetics but its very clean and there's a ton of space and room for larger parties. The food wasn't 5 stars but it was a solid 4 stars. It's like diner food but a little more fancier options (I had the eggs benedict and it was yummy). There was no wait to get seated and it was a relaxing place to step away from the city chaos. Go there asap!
Great find in the neighborhood! Lively bar scene with great bartenders. Food was surprisingly good. Service was outstanding. This is a great place for weekend brunch.
Good food with very generous portions in a pub atmosphere
Enjoyed a casual meal after a Broadway show. A street fair on 9th Ave was very very crowded and energetic, but being able to go to Gossip's back room to get away from the excitement was perfect. The food and server were excellent.
We needed a place for a quick meal so we were able to see a Broadway Show. This restaurant
was ideal for us. The table was waiting for us and the service was very good. The food was very
good and cooked as we requested it. We were have we made this choice. And we loved our
Broadway show. Hello Dolly
Went for Sunday brunch before a matinee on Broadway. Menu was limited but food was good and it was a good value. Service was attentive and not intrusive.
Food was great. Had the beef stew. Excellent flavor, but would have liked more vegetables. Their house made potato chips are very good. They come as Cajun, by they were very gracious about leaving off the seasonings and changing the dip from ranch to bleu cheese. Very comfortable space. Would definitely recommend Gossip.
Third time here and still very impressed with the food and the service! Everything is fresh, looks appetizing and tastes amazing. We have sampled a large variety of the menu and haven't found anything we didn't like. Great value. We pay more for lesser food at home in PA. Highly recommend!
Moderately priced Irish Bar and Grill located in the Hell's Kitchen area close to theaters. Recommend the stew and sheppard's pie.
Nice little Irish pub.
Irish pub with dining area in the back. Menu has a nice mix of options.
Went for dinner before concert. Concert canceled last minute we ended up spending the evening there. There was no rush our waitress Eva couldn't have been more accommodating! Very friendly place with great food and great prices
I made a reservation for 14 people and the y tried to squeeze us on a 10 top. When we complained had to wait 25 min for another large table so the could seat the 14 of us on a 12 top.
20 min after ordering entrees we were told they did not have enough so some needed to change their order.
when dessert menus came they had run out of two of the five items offered. again 20 min later we were told they did not have an item we ordered.
found a mistake on the check but could not find our waitress as she had sent upstairs to work a private party.
with all the problems we had at no time to a manager come to our table to talk to us.
all in all a very disappointing expeirence.
Was there two Saturdays in a row to meet up with friends. Food consistently good. Casual menu and atmosphere. Pleasant waitstaff.
Great bar with nice dining room in back. We love this place because the food is very good and much better than your typical bar food. Service is excellent and friendly. Great, welcoming atmosphere
Pudimos sentarnos los 12 a recordar viejos tiempos
Excellent Hell's Kitchen restaurant. Great sandwiches and burgers. Great friendly service, but not rushed. Perfect location for pre-theater dining.
Great food! Great location!
Looking for a little more relaxed atmosphere, Gossip definitely for the bill. Nice selection of dishes, great service. Staff was there when we needed them.
House made chips app were a very good, very thin.
The servers were not versed on the beverage options, and it took quite a while for us to be waited on, then one member of our group was served soup with no spoon and it took quite some time to hail anyone's attention.
The French onion soup was awesome but the ribeye I couldn't cut with a chainsaw. Shepherds pie was very good. Our waitress was very accommodating and friendly. It was our Christmas family night in the city and it was overall an awesome experience.
