Gossip Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
This is the perfect place to go to before a broadway show or before any event. My mom, sister, and myself went to Gossip for brunch and it was wonderful. First of all, they have an $18 bottomless drunk drink option (mimosas, bloody marys, and some other drink I can't remember). I didn't do the deal BUT I had 2 mimosas and they were strong so I definitely plan to go back. It's your typical bar aesthetics but its very clean and there's a ton of space and room for larger parties. The food wasn't 5 stars but it was a solid 4 stars. It's like diner food but a little more fancier options (I had the eggs benedict and it was yummy). There was no wait to get seated and it was a relaxing place to step away from the city chaos. Go there asap!
We needed a place for a quick meal so we were able to see a Broadway Show. This restaurant
was ideal for us. The table was waiting for us and the service was very good. The food was very
good and cooked as we requested it. We were have we made this choice. And we loved our
Broadway show. Hello Dolly
Food was great. Had the beef stew. Excellent flavor, but would have liked more vegetables. Their house made potato chips are very good. They come as Cajun, by they were very gracious about leaving off the seasonings and changing the dip from ranch to bleu cheese. Very comfortable space. Would definitely recommend Gossip.
Third time here and still very impressed with the food and the service! Everything is fresh, looks appetizing and tastes amazing. We have sampled a large variety of the menu and haven't found anything we didn't like. Great value. We pay more for lesser food at home in PA. Highly recommend!
I made a reservation for 14 people and the y tried to squeeze us on a 10 top. When we complained had to wait 25 min for another large table so the could seat the 14 of us on a 12 top.
20 min after ordering entrees we were told they did not have enough so some needed to change their order.
when dessert menus came they had run out of two of the five items offered. again 20 min later we were told they did not have an item we ordered.
found a mistake on the check but could not find our waitress as she had sent upstairs to work a private party.
with all the problems we had at no time to a manager come to our table to talk to us.
all in all a very disappointing expeirence.
We had the Thanksgiving dinner since we were visiting from out of town. We made reservations for 7 and everything was perfect. We had great service and awesome food. The ambiance was wonderful and it was quiet enough for conversation. Can't say enough good things it was a great experience.
The restaurant was not busy on Sunday morning for brunch. So, we had the back room to ourselves which was fantastic. It was quiet enough for our large group to carry on conversation without yelling. However, the food was just ok. Eggs benedict should have eggs that when you cut into them, they are runny. Our eggs (several people ordered them) all were nearly hard boiled. One of us ordered french toast without any syrup on it, just fresh fruit. She waited 15 min after everyone else had been served to get hers. The waitress never took the order of the person who joined us 10 min late even though she served her a drink, acknowledging that she had joined.
It is one thing when the restaurant is busy, to have some of these things happen. It is not acceptable when it is slow.
Wow. Stopped in here after seeing a matinee show on Broadway. It was perfect as not too far from theater, but being a street away from the hustle and bustle. Great cocktail menu, beer and wine. Somehow they combined Irish and American and Greek all into one. I had a terrific shrimp gyro. My wife had a nice salad with fresh crab on top. Kids menu included chicken fingers for one daughter and my other daughter had a fantastic cheeseburger with fantastic fries. Multiple TV's were great for viewing but nicely tucked away so it did not take away from the nice decor. This place will always be on our list for before or after trips to the theater.
This is a causal place. We were there for lunch on Saturday and basically had the place to ourselves--- one table and 3 guys at the bar. The waitress was lovely and helpful and the food (burger, steak salad and pastrami panini) very good. No loud music in the background was a blessing. I'd definitely go back.
