We visited Gossip for brunch before a 2pm matinee of Wicked. It was a perfect location, about 2 blocks from the theater. We had a group of 16 people as we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. We had a large table in the back, it was perfect. The food was delicous and VERY reasonable for NYC. Brunch cocktails were $5-7 and specialty coffees were $4-5. Entrees ranged from $12-18. They had a nice kids menu as well. They sang happy birthday to my daughter and provided a delicious chocolate lava cake with icecream, free of charge. The service was not super fast, but with a large group that is to be expected. The waitress and other staff were very friendly. It was not incredibly busy or loud which to me was a good thing. I would definitely visit this place again before or after a show.
Decent food, and definitely worth the price! It is worth the travel from Times Square to not pay the high prices or fight the congested crowd.
This pub restaurant was a bit disappointing. While a very casual place, it felt like they were understaffed — where the bartender doubled as the waiter. The fish and chips were very bread and not crisp. Their saving grace was the fries and blueberry muffins.
We had a large party of 9 and the waitress was very accommodating. Also, the music wasn’t too loud so we could actually hear each other. The food was great as well and they were able to cater to some of the group’s dietary restrictions.
Went there for Thanksgiving. Food was excellent, especially the turkey, seafood chowder and the “apple blossom” pie. These items are not usually on the menu, but they should be. Service was not stellar, but waitstaff was friendly and sufficient.
We had a lovely Christmas Dinner at Gossip Restaurant. The restaurant has nice decor, relaxed feel and friendly staff. There was a set menu for Christmas Dinner which had plenty of choice and the food was well presented and tasty.
Went for a traditional Christmas dinner, food was great, the atmosphere and decorations were really festive.
Very good service, although busy on Christmas Day but the staff were friendly and very helpful.
Good choice on the menu if you didn’t want turkey.
Would highly recommend
We went to the Gossip restaurant for Christmas dinner. It was disgusting . Starters were ok and dessert was good but the main course was unedible!!
We went for a late dinner after a show. They had a lively atmosphere and good food. The waiter was very friendly and prompt. We had our twelve and fifteen year old with us and it was not a problem.
Went before a broadway play. This was a great spot to have some drinks and apps.
This place is just great. Very favorable prices for NYC. Just a block away from Times Square. Good space inside. Irish comfort food and then some like shrimp gyro. Phenomenal burgers. Our family goes EVERY time we are in the area. Nice beer and cocktails.
Loves the food and the service. We dined with friends for 4hrs and this was the perfect place to meet up. We will be back. Thank you.
Thoroughly enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at an extremely reasonable price. Everything was absolutely tasty. Staff was mixed; slow and trying to rush you out at times. Ambience is simply wonderful; warm and inviting bar in the front and sit down area (with tables and booths) in the back.
We made reservations for a large group for Thanksgiving Day and had a wonderful meal! The food and service were excellent. We would recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
I wanted somewhere to go to experience a Thanksgiving dinner and I wasn't disappointed. Really good, home style cooked food, very tasty. Quick, friendly service. Worth a visit!
Gossip was a nice little place before a show that didn't break the bank. Food was good, service was good and it's not in the Heart of Times Square so it wasn't PACKED!!!
We enjoyed the Irish staff & atmosphere. A perfect Guinness pour and very good traditional food.
The portions were surpringly big. We had a show at 8pm and the server was great about getting us our food & the bill quickly
This is the perfect place to go to before a broadway show or before any event. My mom, sister, and myself went to Gossip for brunch and it was wonderful. First of all, they have an $18 bottomless drunk drink option (mimosas, bloody marys, and some other drink I can't remember). I didn't do the deal BUT I had 2 mimosas and they were strong so I definitely plan to go back. It's your typical bar aesthetics but its very clean and there's a ton of space and room for larger parties. The food wasn't 5 stars but it was a solid 4 stars. It's like diner food but a little more fancier options (I had the eggs benedict and it was yummy). There was no wait to get seated and it was a relaxing place to step away from the city chaos. Go there asap!
Great find in the neighborhood! Lively bar scene with great bartenders. Food was surprisingly good. Service was outstanding. This is a great place for weekend brunch.
