Gordon Ramsay Steak - Paris Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Gordon does it again, great restaurant with a great atmosphere and wonderful staff.. The food was excellent but the dining experience was a lot of fun and great location inside Paris hotel in Las Vegas. I don't mind pay $$$ if the food and presentation backs it up.. which this does. Noel was wonderful and enjoyed speaking with him throughout our meal. My wife and I were staying in Vegas for the week just as a quick get away and wanted to finally eat at this restaurant. We got the tasting menu with a signed GR 5 year anniversary menu. Really net and will be fun to take home and display in the case. The tasting menu came with the smaller version of the beef Wellington which was cooked to perfection and exceeded our expectations on what we "thought" it would taste like while watching it on his TV shows.. Great job!
Definitely make reservation and eat here, surely will not disappoint!!
I always watched Hell's Kitchen and was amazed how difficult it was for the chefs to make beef Wellington. So that's what I'd ordered. You could say "it was my dream meal!". I enjoyed it. Flew all the way from Lansing MI to have this steak and it was worth it!! Even my husband enjoyed his beef Wellington too!!
We switched out one item when it was discovered that the salmon they serve is farm raised salmon. Do a search of Atlantic Salmon or Scottish Farmed Salmon (Same thing) and learn about the disease ridden problems of farmed raised versus wild line caught salmon. Gordon Ramsay has the best meats and ingredients from around the world and serves cat food for salmon that needs food coloring for color. Does not make sense at all.
Other than that, the meal was fantastic.
Great environment. The servers were attentive and very helpful. All were friendly and definitely brought us more water when needed. The hostess was very nice as well. We enjoyed the 5th anniversary of the tasting menu which was better than what I had expected. The coffee with the white chocolate spoon was delicious. I look forward to going back there in the future.
Pricey, but worth the very occasional splurge. I treated my husband on his 40th birthday as part of a surprise vacation to Vegas. I had the antioxidant cocktail, which was good and not too sweet. We split the pork belly appetizer (amazing), then I ordered the beef Wellington (I had seen it too many times on TV not to order it!), my husband had the rib cap with scallops, and we got sides of mac and cheese and fingerling potatoes. I wish we had skipped the fingerling potatoes, as they were nothing special and between the appetizer, bread course, and our entrees, we had more than enough food. I was barely able to eat any of the mac and cheese, which was unfortunate because it was delicious! My only other complaint is that there isn't a "tasting" or "small bite" dessert option. I really wanted to try the toffee pudding but my husband and I were stuffed. We didn't want to order a whole dessert and each only be able to take a bite or two. Finally, the service was outstanding, from the hostesses, to the server and their assistant. Our server gave great advice about what to order when we were contemplating between a couple of options.
We were looking forward to this visit and were not disappointed. Ambiance, service and doof were outstanding.
I did a little research on dress code ahead of time a saw the suggested business casual, which I would deem appropriate. Other reviews/sites stated that it does not matter what you wear.
We dressed up and I was glad we did, it's a nice place. Not only would I have been uncomfortable myself wearing casual attire, but I would have also been unhappy to see another guest in tanktop, shorts and flip flops.
I really had no complaints except for the amount of fat that was on the ribeye steak that my boyfriend ordered. We were also sat in a booth where the only scenery was staring at other people eating. The price was expensive for the two of us but we did both get cocktails, an appetizer, one side, and two entrees. The food was amazing though and definitely something worth experiencing at least once.
The staff were exceptional, great knowledge of the cuts of meat. Our waiter and a manager both came by to inform us that there was a delay with our main course . turned out they weren't happy with the quality of 1 entree. The manager provided dessert for all 9 in our party. Every person stated that their meal was the best they've ever had.
The food: amazing doesn’t describe it. Heavenly, inventive and succulent is closer. Don’t substitute, taste it exactly as it’s designed. It will take your taste buds on a magical journey.
Chef Christofe is a talented and skilled chef that creates magical masterpieces in the kitchen. I didn’t know food could taste so good.
The service: I felt like royalty. They are attentive and kind and know how to provide amazing service. If I had to rate the overall experience between one and ten, I’d give them a 20! It’s a must to eat here.
Our expierence was exceptional the moment we arrived. From the hostesses being so pleasant and welcoming to the professional and positive and educated service of the sommelier and our superior waiter Will. We come here maybe 3 times a year and always come away with a fabulous memory of great food and fun. Thank you!!!!
We booked this restaurant specifically to experience the steak cart they wheel over to show you the different cuts. Imagine a dessert cart filled with steaks instead! Each steak is on a little platform with mirrors around it so you can appreciate it from all sides. It was just as good as we imagined.
After booking we realised they are one of the few places in the US you can get Japanese A5 Kobe, so several of our party ordered that and did a head to head comparison between the A5 and American wagyu filet. The wagyu was fantastic but holy moly the A5 was noticeably better. It is worth the price uplift to $34 an ounce. I’d heavily recommend it.
Several friends also got the tasting menu, both with and without the additional wine pairings. They enjoyed tasting the dishes from Hell’s Kitchen. Especially the scallops, which they ordered additional shaved white truffle on.
Otherwise the shared sides were delicious - we ordered the truffle mac and cheese (great), creamed corn, and mushrooms. The handcrafted cocktails were also fantastic.
Overall an exceptionally expensive meal because of the A5 Kobe, but otherwise reasonably priced for the quality of food. Our waiter was extremely friendly and lovely to speak to. We had a great time. Would highly recommend. It was a wonderful experience. Would do it again.
Our server Dennis was terrific, we started with Caesar Salad & Onion Soup...presentation is everything from the table settings to the servers uniforms...my daughter loved the Beef Wellington, my husband loved his Lobster Wellington & I enjoy my NY Strip cooked Well Done to perfection! Added Fingerling Potatoes & Sautéed Spinach & Sticky Toffee Cake for dessert. Expensive but worth it!
My boyfriend and I chose to dine here to celebrate our 9 year anniversary. We love Gordon Ramsay and we were super excited to eat here! We enjoyed the service and the presentation of all cuts of meat at the beginning. We loved how before you eat anything (bread, appetizer, main dish) they explain how it is cooked. For appetizer, we had the American Wagyu Beef sliders. They were delicious! It comes with two sliders and potatoes. As our main dish we had to get Gordon Ramsay’s signature Beef Wellington. This was the reason why we dined here, we were super curious about this dish and it didn’t disappoint! It was very yummy! We got the 12oz and we shared it. I enjoyed it although I didn’t feel my best later that night. Notice that this dish is cooked medium rare and it was my first time eating meat like that and my stomach didn’t take it well. I’m sure this was a reaction I had and it was in no way related to the cleanliness or anything like that of the restaurant. For sides we had the mushrooms and the mac and cheese, both delicious! To finish off this amazing dining experience, we had to get Gordon’s signature Sticky Toffee Pudding with brown butter ice cream. You must get this dessert! Overall we had the best dining experience and our waiter was so nice, everyone that helped our table was great!
This is the third time we went to Gordon Ramsey Steak restaurant at the PARIS Hotel in Las Vegas. It was crowded and we were seated at a two top that was only about 9 inches from the next two top. Our food was very good as it has been in the past. I had a great salad and then for my dinner had the lobster appetizer which is so good! The sauce is great and the lobster was perfectly cooked. My husband liked his beet salad and a bison steak, both of which where delicious and well prepared. Our problem this time was mostly due to how close we were seated to a couple who were obviously not at all happy with the service they were receiving. The husband kept getting having to get out and go to the bar or talk to the manager and it was pretty disruptive to us. We also had a slight problem with service, but we did have a different waiters. Once we received our meal we never saw our waiter again. There was no explanation provided but he must have gone home. Our water glasses were empty for all of my meal before getting someones attention to refill them. Somewhat of a disappointing trip for us as our last dinner here was excellent with excellent service. Also we had indicated we were celebrating a birthday but it was not even acknowledged.
When we arrived at our reservation at Steak about 15 minutes early and we were advised that they were a little behind but should be back on track by our reservation time at 9:15pm. We sat at the bar and had exceptional service with the bar tenders. When it was time to sit we noticed that the three tables around us were getting there drinks faster and service quicker. It took about 20 minutes just to get a pepsi. Our waiter came and never asked me for a new beverage and to be frank she was more concerned about her friends who came to visit her. So my husband had to go to the bar to purchase me another beverage. About 10:10 we received our first course the main lobster appetizer nearly 1 hour from our reservation. Then we ordered a bone in ribeye medium rare and received our steak at 10:35pm and it was raw. My husband at this point is furious and asks for a manager who happened to be Ally and rudely tells my husband that if he wants they can “make our dinner again,” or”we are free to leave.” With no apology. She seemed irritated that we complained to her because they were”busy.”We flew from Dallas to celebrate my husband’s 30th birthday at “Steak,” I am deeply saddened with our experience we had the day of his birthday.
Having been to this restaurant a few times before I have to say what a huge disappointment this visit was... the food was cold and had to return it 3 times and then gave up when they still could not get it right
All about ambience and not about food quality anymore
