Gordon Ramsay Steak - Paris Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Birthday Party. My son and I did everything we could to eat at Hells Kitchen as he loves to watch the show. Best we could do in our five day stay was to visit all the other Gordon Ramsay restaurants. We had a great time. Hope we can eventually visit Hells Kitchen in the future. Best regards.
Overall this was a great experience. The food tasted amazing, service was friendly, and ambiance is nice. However, something here made me puke my brains out. I had a steak, one beer, potatoes, and Mac & cheese. I think it was the beer (it was on tap). My friend, who had two beers also had a rumbling stomach. Also, our chairs were too low for the table. They were these individual cushioned chairs. It made it a little inconvenient to eat.
We had a party of 6, waited 40 mins past our reservation time (which was made 2 weeks in advance), we were told on 3 separate occasions our table was being set. Take what you will from that. When we were finally seated, the service was phenomenal. Seriously exceptional service! However the food was underwhelming. 3 of us went with the beef Wellington, 2 people went with filets and 1 went with Salmon. The beef Wellington’s were cooked extremely under. Borderline raw, tough to cut through and chewy, the breading was like a soggy bun. The filets were bland, both cooked over desired cook and the person that had salmon was the only one happy with their meal. We all agreed the best part of the meal was the service and the bread served prior. We have been to numerous high end restuarants in Las Vegas. This rates at the bottom. Especially costing hundreds more then the others. Table of 6 was $620 without alcoholic beverages. Not at all a value for your hard earned money.
I am from Washington State and have been to a few very high end restaurants and nothing has ever tasted this good! I am a huge fan of Gordon Ramsey's and as a fan I was star struck by the food! I spent a little over a hundred and got an appetizer, entree, desert, and a drink. Which to me is reasonable for the quality of the food. And when they say that the beef Wellington will melt in your mouth you better believe it!!
This was my second experience at GR Steak. The first time was OVER 5 stars, and this time felt seriously disappointing. All four of us ordered the American Rib Cap, because last time it was perfection, but the cuts didn't look like the rib cap, and three were overdone and one came out almost raw. Our waiter was quite rude about the whole thing, and it soured the experience, and when the table spent over $500 on food and drinks, the waiter could have tempered his attitude a little bit. When you're paying that much for food, you expect it to be perfect, and I think if Gordon heard about the situation, he would have been highly disappointed. This second experience wasn't Ramsay standard service.
We were early for our reservation so we decided to get a drink at the bar/lounge. The drinks were good and we were seated right on time. Our waiter was condescending and had no personality. It seemed like he had better things to do and just ran through everything with no energy. He also seemed like he was trying to run up the bill. The bus boy was better than the waiter and we wish he was serving us. We were seated on the right side of the kitchen with a view of the kitchen, which I enjoy because I love cooking. But I wish we didn’t sit there. It was right next to the computer system and where the waiters and bus boys hung out. We could see them talking and pointing at customers and laughing. Not professional at all. The food was good. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were phenomenal, the mac and cheese was okay, not amazing like they tell you. Also their wine list is not as extensive as you would think for a top of the line steakhouse (which we learned this steakhouse is not). I would not go back because of the service, the atmosphere, and overall value. Just not what I expected at a steakhouse by a world renowned chef. Disappointing for sure.
The food was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The service was excellent, the cocktails and wine were great. It was a memorable meal and I'm so pleased. Our reservation was at 9:45pm because that was all that was available. I think they close around 10, but the staff didn't try to rush us or make us feel like we were hindering their closing. I will always reccomend this place to anyone visiting Vegas. I'd love to go again sometime.
Went just to say we went. Expecting the food to be better than it was. My steak came out perfect. My husbands however was way undercooked. Waitress took it back, brought it back and still way undercooked, she even mentioned that it was. Manager came over apologized and took it off our bill.
Restaurant was lovely, cocktails were fantastic, service was excellent, just one undercooked steak.
Food and service was very good. Ambience was also good except many of the guests were dressed as if they had just come from working on the farm. I would expect a little more class with respect to dinner attire at an establishment such as Gordon Ramsay's when I pay such a price for that type of dinner experience.
