Gordon Ramsay Steak - Paris Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
The food was great the only thing that was upsetting was that the staff said they would do something for my wife for her birthday and we were waiting and nothing happened. It was a let down because I could have gotten her a little cake but I was assured that something was going to happen. When I asked the waiter he said we don't do that you must order off the dessert Menu. This information would have been great to know beforehand.
Very over priced... we brought a very special bottle of wine - $50 cork fee... really? Plus the sommelier admitted he tasted it without first asking. I would have let him but shouldn’t you ask first or let me offer it? The up charge to add 3 seared scallops to our entre (not on the menu but the chefs “special”)?was $54! I make scallops just as good and there was no sauce or anything... nothing “special” about them.. especially not for that price! Many other choices when it comes to restaurants. Not going back...ever!
We where celebrating the birthday of our mother who recently passed away November 7th, 2017. My wife and I have had dinner there twice before for our engagement dinner and anniversary dinner, but my sister and brother in law have never been. It was as amazing as it always is. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the people are great. Yet another memorable evening at Gordon Ramsey’s Steak
The service was amazing and the food was even better. Three of us decided to meet up at Steak for some good food and great cocktails while catching up after a year of living in different states. The service was impeccable and the food melted in your mouth with delicious seasoning and cooked to perfection. It is a bit pricey but you are really paying for quality food, beverages, service and ambience. I really recommend this place for a a special occasion or for a drink or two with friends.
We visit Vegas quarterly and make it a tradtion to eat at Gordan Ramseys. This time, it was "off". We asked for the porter house bone to be included in our take home box and it was not. This was AFTER the waiter asked us if we wanted the bone and we responded yes. Porter house was under seasoned. Sides were delicious.
Just took a customer to dinner and had a fantastic experience. The choice of steaks was presented uniquely and the America Wagu Filet cooked medium rare was one of the most tender, almost creamy, steaks ever. Beet salad also amazing as was the selection of wine.
I have dairy and gluten allergies and they took it all in stride....
We had no trouble getting into the hotel parking, finding the restaurant, or being shown to our table. We were attended by two waiters all night and both were excellent. One of their first questions was is this a special event, the other was were we attending any shows. It was my daughter's birthday and we were going across the street to see O at the Bellagio. They said ok we will have to watch our time and no further mention was made of it. When dessert came they had placed a candle on my daughter's but only said Happy Birthday none of the singing waiters which she hates. They catered to her needs, had her make the wine selection (she is over 21), and made the evening special. It is the first time we have been able to celebrate her birthday together in seven years and we wanted something special and you made that a reality. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Gordon Ramsey's Steak was excellent as usual. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The food is outstanding, the steaks are prepared perfectly and taste delicious. The best part about the entire meal has to be the desert, I had not had sticky pudding before and that dish is amazing. The only unimpressive part of the entire meal was the Old Fashioned I ordered, it was not that great. However a good Old Fashioned is hard to find, and many bartenders don't get it right.
Very nice restaurant especially if you're staying at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.
Beef Wellington had a soggy crust. Had to send the lobster tail back as it was undercooked.
Baked potato was very salty inside...didn't like it at all....odd toppings. Not a good experience for the money.....and I had SO looked forward to eating there.
Service was outstanding though.
Still with glimmers of brilliance, the rib cap steak was expertly prepared. The crab legs however, are a shadow of their former butter poached selves. These were cold, salty and of reduced portion compared with past offerings at the same restaurant. No butter poaching here either, seemed boiled and salted. Service was decent but server a bit sterile, with a canned script and very little in the way of personality shining through, also a deviation from past experiences. The bread service, which used to be served hot and spectacular, was barely warm, with again, a reduced portion. The restaurant seems to have increased prices while decreasing portion size. While we were not looking for massive portions, a consistency with that which was originally offered when the restaurant opened, would certainly have been more than adequate. While we arrived slightly early for our 9:15 reservation, the hostess declined to seat us earlier notwithstanding the fact that the dining room was only 50% occupied, a tactic unworthy of such a restaurant and better left to those trying to create an appearance of popularity.
There are still some high notes, but the lows seem to now outweigh the highs, with the previously stellar asparagus and crab soup being the prime example as the only preeminent flavor coming from the bowl being salt, and a lot of it.
Restaurant appears in need of a face lift both in terms of decor and quality control. What was once among the finest establishments on the strip, now being reduced to just another average to above average place, not too fitting, particularly when one considers the steep price tags.
Food was good but didn’t blow me out of the water like I was expecting. Chicken was raw/bleeding near the bone and turned my appetite instantly. The overall experience was nothing to talk about. A lot of hype over overrated and over priced food that I can get at other places for half the price.
For my birthday, I asked my sister to go to "Steak" And, being a fan of Gordon Ramsey tv shows, I could hardly wait! It surely did not disappoint. The wait staff was attentive and consummate professionals. The food was incredible. I ordered the Smoked Steak tartar for an appetizer. Even my sister who does not normally like tartar, said she loved it, too! The presentation was lovely, and once they removed the glass cover, the smoke gave you a hint of what was waiting to taste. seasoned very well with just the right amount of smokey flavor coming through, with the quail egg adding the creamy smoothness to each bite. The sticky toffee pudding . . . . oh my. It was a fabulous dinner and just the way I dreamed to celebrate my birthday!
By far the best steak I’ve ever had. It melts in your mouth. And the mashed potato purée is to die for! If you haven’t tried it, it’s well worth it. If there wasn’t 1,000+ miles between me and this restaurant I’d eat there weekly! We visit Vegas just to eat here.
I like to come once a year for my birthday and the food is always great! It's worth the money if you love food. The only thing that got me on my last visit was the scallops. They were good, but since they were not on the menu, we didn't know the price. It turned out to be over $50 (for 3 scallops). Also, the "Oscar style" option price was not told to us and ended up being over $50 as well. I'm definitely asking questions next time.
