Gordon Ramsay Steak - Paris Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
We were celebrating an anniversary with friends and got a table on the second floor in a back room with no life. Waited for 15mins before even a waiter came by. No water or drinks for over 30 mins. Out of the 6 people in our party 3 dishes were cooked wrong. 1 was a filet and wanted it butterflied and cooked well done. It came non butterflied and medium rare. Next dish was the ribeye “eye” bacon wrapped. Wanted it cooked medium rare it came blue, terrible couldn’t eat it. Third one was the famous Beef Wellington which should be cooked medium rare. That also came blue cold in the center. Had to douse it with béarnaise sauce to eat half of it. When we complained and talked to the manager he said all of your plates are cooked to our standards. I said this is ridiculous for the amount of $$. Everything is ala carte: salad $18, loaded baked potato $17, Beef Wellington $59, took almost 2 hours to receive our meal. Terrible terrible service, our end bill was $680 and I normally tip 20% but didn’t want to give these guys anything. Then our waiter screwed up when put the charges through on our cards. This place is yet another failed Gordon Ramsey experience. Save your time and money - dine somewhere else.
This is our second visit at this place. We brought our 11year old son who is a Gordon fan. He had a great time and the servers and attendants were great to him. The food is unbelievable! If you are ever in Vegas you should eat here at least once in your life. We all had the Beef Wellington. If you plan on having dessert then skip the salad. The 6oz Wellington may sound small but it is deceptively filling. But the Scottish egg in the Caesar salad was a very nice touch. I'm glad I tried it.
Was very disappointed in the service and the whole experience. For the price of the meal we were expecting a fine dining experience like we have experienced at Delmonico. We were seated by the kitchen and the servers kept using foul language which made the experience not good. The service was very slow and it took a very long time before we were ever greeted at the table.
Absolutely fantastic. My husband and I were lucky enough to enjoy a 5 course meal put together by Gordon Ramsay. The menu featured items from Hell’s Kitchen. Being huge fans of the show, it was especially meaningful for us. Everything was absolutely perfect.
Food ordered was Beef Wellington which was superb. Service was average to below. Our waiter, don’t remember name, a large person with dark hair, wore a dark suit, seemed condascending as he kept calling us “kids”, our ages 63, 43, 29 and 21. He continued to appear to want to push us into larger orders, implying a half wellington or wellington for 2 as your online menu reads was not sufficient for us, which he was wrong. The finale came when he brought the check and said “don’t worry it’s only a million dollars”. Total check with tip was $600. I guess it wasnt enough for your waiter Gordon. He put a great food night in an unpleasant manner from beginning to end. Won’t be recommending the place. We will stay with Del Friscos.
We found that the quality of food met our expectations and the Gordon Ramsey standards. The only thing that was surprising was my steak wasn't seasoned as much as I would have expected. However, the quality of each food course was excellent. Initial service was excellent, but found that towards the end of our meal less attention was given to us. In Europe while out dining there is no rush in getting the check as it should be relaxing, non-pushy experience. This could have been the reason as it took about 10 minutes to get the attention of our waitress to ask for the check. We did truly enjoy our dinner and will request to be seated in the upper level next time.
We are at Gordon Ramsey Steak on our honeymoon and for my husband’s 40th birthday. It felt like we had three personal servers all night. We were never forgotten about or left with empty drinks and dirty dishes. The food was incredible. From the speciality bread - the bacon and fig roll was literally mouthwatering, to the dessert. Good luck deciding between the sticky toffee pudding and the chocolate pot de creme. We had both and I can’t even tell you which was better. The ale soup and Mac and cheese were perfection. Fresh cuts of meat are presented to you right at your table to chose from. We got the Beef Wellington and Rib Eye. The rib eye was a little under done. They took it back and cooked it a little more and then it was a little over. It was still great and doesn’t affect my review of this experience. I will be back to Vegas in May and back to Steak!
Our 5th time at Ramsey Steak and everytime has been great. Service is always superb. My wife loves the cocktails. Food has always been awesome! Apps, main course, dessert all just great. I love the shrimp cocktail. The Beef Wellington is a must. Gouda Baked Potato is amazing. Mac and Cheese is good. Sticky Toffee Pudding with Caramel Sauce and Brown Butter Ice Cream is just incredible. We had an early dinner and even though there was two large parties there our experience was still good and food came out promptly. Going early did meant the restaurant wasn't very busy so it was fairly quite where we were on the top level.
I had been looking forward to dining at Gordon Ramsay Steak for some time however, the experience was good but not great. I ordered the Beef Wellington which was barely lukewarm when it arrived and you could barely find the potato puree and two tiny pieces of carrot. I twas not the most flavorful steak I've ever had. The caesar salad was beautiful and delicious. The waiter recommended a cocktail, the Drifter, which was also delicious. If you like some place quieter to dine, this is not the place. It is loud and noisy. Maybe the other steak cuts would have proven to be a better choice. For a steak, I'd rather go back to Craftsteak at the MGM Grand.
This was the most amazing meal my husband and I have ever had! The textures and flavours of each item was lingering and phenomenal! Visiting GR Steak was a bucket list item for me and my expectations were exceeded! I hope we can return and visit the Hells Kitchen currently being built! Thank you for making our first evening in Vegas a mind blowing experience!
Gordon does it again, great restaurant with a great atmosphere and wonderful staff.. The food was excellent but the dining experience was a lot of fun and great location inside Paris hotel in Las Vegas. I don't mind pay $$$ if the food and presentation backs it up.. which this does. Noel was wonderful and enjoyed speaking with him throughout our meal. My wife and I were staying in Vegas for the week just as a quick get away and wanted to finally eat at this restaurant. We got the tasting menu with a signed GR 5 year anniversary menu. Really net and will be fun to take home and display in the case. The tasting menu came with the smaller version of the beef Wellington which was cooked to perfection and exceeded our expectations on what we "thought" it would taste like while watching it on his TV shows.. Great job!
Definitely make reservation and eat here, surely will not disappoint!!
I always watched Hell's Kitchen and was amazed how difficult it was for the chefs to make beef Wellington. So that's what I'd ordered. You could say "it was my dream meal!". I enjoyed it. Flew all the way from Lansing MI to have this steak and it was worth it!! Even my husband enjoyed his beef Wellington too!!
We switched out one item when it was discovered that the salmon they serve is farm raised salmon. Do a search of Atlantic Salmon or Scottish Farmed Salmon (Same thing) and learn about the disease ridden problems of farmed raised versus wild line caught salmon. Gordon Ramsay has the best meats and ingredients from around the world and serves cat food for salmon that needs food coloring for color. Does not make sense at all.
Other than that, the meal was fantastic.
Great environment. The servers were attentive and very helpful. All were friendly and definitely brought us more water when needed. The hostess was very nice as well. We enjoyed the 5th anniversary of the tasting menu which was better than what I had expected. The coffee with the white chocolate spoon was delicious. I look forward to going back there in the future.
Pricey, but worth the very occasional splurge. I treated my husband on his 40th birthday as part of a surprise vacation to Vegas. I had the antioxidant cocktail, which was good and not too sweet. We split the pork belly appetizer (amazing), then I ordered the beef Wellington (I had seen it too many times on TV not to order it!), my husband had the rib cap with scallops, and we got sides of mac and cheese and fingerling potatoes. I wish we had skipped the fingerling potatoes, as they were nothing special and between the appetizer, bread course, and our entrees, we had more than enough food. I was barely able to eat any of the mac and cheese, which was unfortunate because it was delicious! My only other complaint is that there isn't a "tasting" or "small bite" dessert option. I really wanted to try the toffee pudding but my husband and I were stuffed. We didn't want to order a whole dessert and each only be able to take a bite or two. Finally, the service was outstanding, from the hostesses, to the server and their assistant. Our server gave great advice about what to order when we were contemplating between a couple of options.
We were looking forward to this visit and were not disappointed. Ambiance, service and doof were outstanding.
I did a little research on dress code ahead of time a saw the suggested business casual, which I would deem appropriate. Other reviews/sites stated that it does not matter what you wear.
We dressed up and I was glad we did, it's a nice place. Not only would I have been uncomfortable myself wearing casual attire, but I would have also been unhappy to see another guest in tanktop, shorts and flip flops.
