Good, basic "red sauce" Italian spot. We started with Mozzarella en Carozza with anchovy sauce, which we've had in many places. This was very disappointing. It seemed like they used white bread for the base of the dish, and the anchovy sauce was kind of vinegary.
For entrees, my husband had the Veal Saltimbocca (his "test" meal at every new Italian restaurant). The veal was very tender, but drowning in melted mozzarella. I had the restaurant's version of Veal Milanese. This veal was not as tender but the arugula & cubed mozzarella topping was good. The portions here are very big.
The best thing I can say about this restaurant is the service. Both the host and our waiter were terrific. Very attentive, friendly, professional.
