Good food, good service, good location, and nice outside seating. Would highly recommend!
Carlos was a fantastic host. The food and service was outstanding! I will now seek out their other locations in Durham, etc. love this place!!
Very noisy, server not that personable, food was ok
Always such good food and service. We had a reservation and still had to wait a bit. But overall our experience is always amazing.
Love the sangria and food there. Staff are always polite. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
A great choice for good food and service!
High end mexican/colombian food at a good price. Kid friendly. Great service.
First time at the Wake Forest location and it was great. Food was on par and service was excellent.
First time. We enjoyed. Service was great.
We had the chicken fajitas and the carnitas tacos. The food quality was excellent and fresh. The service was great and attentive. Our server had no problems answering questions and familiarizing us with the menu. The fajitas had a great mix of red and green peppers and red and white onions which gave it a nice flavor profile and crunch. The carnitas tacos were very good and the green salsa provided was excellent. The only improvement I would suggest for the tacos are the size. The corn tortillas were smaller than normal maybe 4 inch vs s more standard 6 inch, even though there were 3 tacos they were the equivalent to 2 of a typical size. That left me a little hungry once finished. I would return as the food was very good, I am just more aware of the portion size now.
Great fun great food and great drinks as usual!
It was a wonderful place to eat with great Mexican food..
Loved it! The taco of the day (plantain encrusted mahi) was on point!
Repeat customer. Food and service is always consistently good.
Food is always very good and affordable. Thus time I had enchiladas con mole which was great. Not everyone can make a great mole sauce but they nailed it. My companion had vegetarian tacos which she said were very good, too. The place is always lively and quite honestly a bit too loud. Top notch service.
Love the decor...chips and queso are AMAZING. Fajitas are delicious. Service is excellent. We have lived in the area for years and had not tried this place. We have been missing out so now we have to make up for lost time. It’s a Friday night must!!!!
The food, service and restaurant were great. This was our first time. We will be back.
Made a reservation and our table was ready when we walked in. Great service and good. I love eating here.
The atmosphere was good, the food delicious and hot and our server was excellent.
Always the example of great service in everything they do - from the greeting when you walk in the door to courtesy when paying the bill and everything in between. Excellent food choices - but consider bringing back the original Tres Leches!!
It was a fun get together with friends last minute for Valentines Day. Food and service were good!
Love Gonza, its our go-to for high end Hispanic food. We went to celebrate valentines day and were able to make reservations through open table with no problem. It is on the noisy side. The food is delicious however depending on who is cooking that night dishes can be a bit spicier some days than others which I don't like.
Valentine’s with the kids!
The food is good but it’s hard to have a conversation because the noise level is so loud.
Gonza always has great tasting food served with a smile. Food always comes out quickly once ordered. Can be busy at times though at this location have rarely had to wait long. Can not wait for our next visit.
Food and service were excellent, but it is a noisy restaurant.
Good food and great service.
The customer service was exceptional! The food was fantastic as usual😊
Great food this was our first visit to the Wake Forest location and it was very nice.
I love this place!
Gonza never fails to deliver. Always great food - upbeat atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
Great experience as usual. Great food and friendly and fast service. I particularly enjoy the chef's special tacos each night. Creative and excellent taste combinations. Always fresh ingredients.
My fiance and I love this place. I've been going to it for many years and I really enjoy this place. The food is truly authentic, like if I were to drive down to a random tiny home in Mexico and have Granny cook me a meal, I feel like it would taste exactly like Gonza. That being said, it is a bit confusing trying to read the menu when the only Spanish word you know is 'hola'. I generally either get the same thing or have to have my server help me choose an item.
This place is somewhat expensive, as the portions are generally small. But being Mexican food, it fills you up.
Amazing drinks and authentic food with super flavor. I had my 27th birthday here and it was fun for all!
Food is rather good but found the rice and beans to be underwhelming. Rice was particularly hard (undercooked.) Otherwise my pork tacos and drinks were fantastic.
Reservation was on time, food and service were great, dessert was delicious, we’ll be back
We have been there many times and it is always good. The menu selection offers a good variety and the service is very good. It is a good value and differs sufficiently from you average Mexican restaurant to be a great destination for special occasions. Highly recommend.
This is a spot we frequent with the kiddos after soccer, lunch or after karate. I frequently attend with a great group of ladies for gatherings too. Love this place as they are always delicious, fast and efficient. Never a disappointment.
We went here for lunch today to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and had a horrible experience. The regular lunch menu was not being offered. They had a very limited menu of choice of 5-6 different taco options. The food portions were extremely small(3 4-5” round tortillas) for prices ranging from $12-14!!! They served our food on paper plates, used disposable plastic cups and to top it off PLASTIC FORK packets complete with salt and pepper wrapped in more plastic!!! The quest was so watered down it didn’t even taste like cheese. The manager was unapologetic saying they were expecting a very large crowd “hence the plastic.” There were maybe 6-8 tables seated in the entire restaurant at 12:30. Could have gotten better food and utensils from a taco truck! Ridiculous
Everything was great except our server. She was very forgetful and we had to ask her repeatedly for things.
