The day we went was my mother's 80th birthday and my hubby's was 4 days earlier so I took them both out and surprised them. Food was great, service was great. Love Golf's!
I have attended Golf Steakhouse for a number of years with family and friends. I have always enjoyed the food and found the pricing to be worthwhile. Service has always been at the top. It was good to see on our last visit that you have facilities to accommodate challenged people.
Great food just needs a little bit of renovations I like the old look just needs to be cleaned up a bit but food was great would go back
My husband and myself celebrated my 65th Birthday with a wonderful scenic view in the atrium alongside the window. The waitress was great and looked after all our needs. The food came promptly and also there was enough time to sample the delicious salad bar and basket of bread! They also presented us with a complimentary cheesecake dessert to share. A simple night out after driving from Naples Florida, a total dining experience!
Thanks all for making my father-in-law's 90th being a special occasion. The food, service and ambiance was very good.
Exceĺlant brunch good choice of food have had dinner there but never brunch would do it again
This is a great restaurant. My family and I always come here to celebrate special occasions and are never disappointed.
We have been going to this restaurant since it first opened. I have yet to find another restaurant that I enjoy more. The food is great and is good value for the money. The Riverside room has a great ambience but if you have a large crowd you may be better served with one of the other locations within the restaurant. I highly recommend it.
Tried the buffet for the first time. Found it to have limited options for the price.
Great value for the excellent quality of food, service and scenery.
We were celebrating a birthday. It was wonderful. The food and service as always is top notch . What we love is that everything is consistently great.
Had Easter dinner here for 9 family members including 4 grandsons ages 21 to 5. 2 of the oldest (16 & 21 plus 5 year old) wanted steak. 4 had chicken, 1 had schnitzel & 1 had prime rib. As far as I know everyone enjoyed their meal & cleaned their plates up which says something for the food. Everyone young & old enjoyed the yummy desserts. A great place to eat! Staff very attentive! There was only one thing that I didn't like was the bread brought to the table. Instead of garlic bread that was merely buttered bread sprinkled with garlic....I would of preferred rolls & maybe an assortment of breads.
I was not impressed this time, we waited a very long time for our food while others who came after us was served. I ordered French onion soup instead of the sweet potatoe one that was offered and all I got was broth no onions and paid $5.00 more. I have never had an issue before always enjoyed my dinners here but this time was not a good experience.
The buffet was excellent, however could not possibly eat $25 worth of food. .
Would be nice to have an option to only go up to the buffet once at a reduced price.
Every time I come to the Golf Steak House I enjoy my meal and the atmosphere. The food is excellent and the wait staff very friendly and attentive.
Was most pleasant & enjoyable place to dine out. Couldn't have picked a more lovely, quaint restaurant. Everyone very friendly & obliging. Food was all very delicious & plentiful.
We will definitely go back in the future.
Salad bar very good as always. Prime rib a little tougher than usual.
This is not the first time going to Golfs’s. Unfortunately is was not a good night. With it being Good Friday it seemed that the kitchen staff/manager was the “second string”. From allowing clearly burnt ribs to leave the kitchen to sloppy plate presentation, to overcooked fish, and stir fry that was soaked with oil. This was far from the quality we have come to expect. This will certainly make me think twice about having this as one of our “go to” special occasion restaurants moving forward.
Always good food and service waitress very informative and attentive
Awesome.Great selection and fresh.
Would definitely recommend for a group or couple wanting a quiet dinner.
Delicious food and excellent service. A wonderful dining experience.
The meal was to celebrate our granddaughter's 19th birthday. Our waitress treated our granddaughter extra special which was delightful to watch. The food was served timely, hot and correct - no mistakes in our order. The prime rib was thick, juicy and delicious. The ribs got a double thumbs up from our granddaughter. The two different chicken dishes were met with rave reviews. The baked potatoes were steaming hot and perfectly cooked and the sour cream and butter dishes were so large we didn't have to skimp when dressing our potatoes. Golf's continues to be our "go to" restaurant for family celebrations.
It was busy so our waitress did seem a bit harried. Didn't introduce herself . No chit chat. She was helpful with our birthday cake. Took it right away to the fridge. Her service was good. Our food was very slow, I guess cuz the veggie lasagne took longer than the steak and seafood. People that arrived after us were served before us. Food was good when we got it and it is well priced. We always enjoy the salad bar.
The table was ready right on time.
The staff could see we were catching up with each other so they filled our drinks order then left us to it for a while before coming back to take our food order.
The food was exactly what we have come to expect from Golf's and there was plenty of it.
Once we finished our meal and there was nothing more we needed they left us alone to continue chatting til we were ready to leave.
There were plenty of options on the menu, the staff were attentive when they needed to be and the bill was reasonable,
Overall, a pleasant dining experience which was much appreciated.
Another great evening at the Golf everything was perfect as usual.
We have been dining at this restaurant since it opened and still has not disappointed. One of the few restaurants in town with a salad bar. Not really a good place for "foodies", but good, well-prepared food always. Staff has always been more than accommodating, friendly and efficient. One of my favourites.
Golfs is above standard. Always one of my favourite places to go with my wife. Price is more than your typical chain restaurant, but the quality is why. You get what you pay for!
We had a lovely dinner by the window in the alcove (as requested on our OPEN TABLE reservation). Our server Hailey was wonderful, and the food was as delicious as always. We definitely be back for other occasions and look forward to another window seat. We really like that area of the restaurant.
Always have the chateau Briand and is always good. Only thing that is missing from this dish is that it should be served with a bernaies sauce
Have been coming to golf's for almost 40 years and have never been disappointed in any aspect. Exceptional food and service and great ambience. Some of the best prime rib anywhere!
I choose the Gulf Steakhouse to celebrate my 60th birthday. I have been there 2 previous times for a company Christmas dinner. I knew I had to go back. The food was excellent and there steak. T-Bone steaks were ordered and it was so big. It covered the whole plate. I would strongly recommend the Gulf Steakhouse for any occasion.
Excellent food. Good service. Very quick. Always good
Have been to Golfs many times but unfortunately this time was an awful experience.
1 guest Ordered a steak that was suppose to be well done and it was bloody, another guest ordered a medium well steak and it was also bloody.
The only thing that was offered was a free desert and paid 150 for steaks that were poor quality and not properly done. I worked in the restaurant industry for years and this was a very disappointing experience. I don’t think I will be going back for a long time. Long enough that they can hire a chef with proper skills. The waitress was awesome thought.
It was noisy were we were. A birthday party was going on right behind us. Made it hard to hear everyone at the table.
Our waitress was very nice and attentive. At the end of the meal, she brought out a piece of cherry cheesecake with a candle for us to share because it was a birthday celebration. The wine was awful. The salad bar was very sad looking and all the pasta salads tasted the same. My meal came without the au jus and garlic bread it was advertised with. The prime rib was tatsteless and my veggies were mush.
I was very disappointed with this birthday dinner and will not be back to this place. It was the third time in a row that the food has been less than satisfactory. Our first time there, it was delicious and a little darker inside so the ambiance was a touch of romance and less funeral parlour, as it displays in brighter light.
We will not be back.
I went for the Sunday brunch. The food was pretty good. I am not a foodie but nothing really stood out as fantastic. The beef ribs were close. Lots of different desserts available. While I was there, what was really bothering me is their serving area is way too cramped for all the people at the buffet. I could barely maneuver around everyone to get food. I would say this was marginally better than a Golden Coral (in the states) but price was about double.
we were there Sat March 10th. Food was very very good from the soup to main course and the drinks. Our round table was crowded for six and one chair was almost up against another table. Waiter was awesome and we only had to remind him of one missed drink. There was food on the floor beside me, not liking that much. And I had mentioned my 65th birthday upon reserving and would have been nice for them to acknowledge it.
Over all a 4 out of 5....
This is our go to place for special occasions....family gatherings....or sometimes just a night out with a friend. Never disappointed
My family dined at Golf Steak House on a recent Friday evening to celebrate a birthday. We were a group of 7 adults and a toddler. I ensured that they knew we were bringing a toddler and would need a high chair. We were greeted promptly and politely and escorted to our table which was in a quiet area of the restaurant with plenty of room for the high chair. We ordered a variety of menu items including ribs, seafood and prime rib. The portion sizes were plentiful and the food was delicious. The birthday girl (age 35) was presented with a complimentary dessert complete with lit candle. Overall we were quite pleased with our dining experience at Golf Steak House.
We were a group of four celebrating a birthday. The food was absolutely delicious. Three had the steak and I had the fish. Looking forward to coming again.
