Been to many Steak houses in Vegas and wanted to try something new so my son did some research and decided to try the Golden Steer. The reception staff and wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was like that old school Vegas which was really nice and the decor was matching made you feel like Sinatra would be walking in anytime. Son and I shared the Steak and Lobster for two while the wife had Chicken. Honestly I thought it was a little over priced for what you got, but it was good and you definitely have to try the Cesser Salad when you go. Would I go again maybe, but at least I tried a new Steak House in Vegas and can mark the Golden Steer off my list.

We showed up late to my sister’s birthday party by 30 minutes. After letting the staff know in advance, they covered everything with professionalism and superb hospitality. My word to family was not a disappointment! The steak, The Sommelier, Servers, Caesar Salad and more were exactly what I said they would be.

This place is a hidden jewel just off the Las Vegas strip. It has been open since 1958 and was a favorite place for the Sinatra Rat Pack. It is located in a strip mall and that might turn people away. Go there once and it will be well worrth you while.

Andrea and I wish we could give Golden Steer 10 stars. Wendy and her professional staff make us feel like family. The steaks and the service are the best in Las Vegas. A dinner at the Golden Steer is always worth the 4+ hour drive from Sedona. It's our "date night on steroids"

This place is amazing, truly a hidden gem and a highlight of our vacation. It’s the kind of place you would pass by and not think twice off, but the bone in ribeye was one of the best I’d ever had. The mushrooms were also delicious. Next time I’m in Vegas I will go back and try more of their food; I highly recommend this place to anyone.

My mom was in town visiting so my husband & I treated her to a belated Mother’s Day dinner. We were seated within 15 minutes of our reservation time. Ambiance could be considered “romantic” to some but is a little too dark. We shared fried calamari & seafood stuffed mushroom caps. Delicious!! They ordered filet mignon & king crab legs. I ordered prime rib & jumbo Australian lobster tail. We shared sides & seafood. Lobster was slightly overcooked. Crab was delicious! All of our meats were prepared perfectly!! Don’t recall everyone’s names but their service is impeccable! James & Angel were our main servers but everyone we interacted with was so professional. I definitely recommend experiencing Golden Steer Steakhouse at least once & it is worth every dollar!

I spent 240 on a meal I hated . We clearly have different standards in Canada is fine dining in this establishment. I exsplain Ed to the waiter I like thin well done meat . He suggests Ted the dinner for 2 the steak was not even edible the replacement they brought was dry . The waiter look missriblr like he did it want to be there . Terrible service. Normally when you send the steak back and you've ordered a lot of different sauces they take the sauces back with you in when they bring you the fresh steak they bring you the fresh sauces. That's what tells me this wasn't a very good establishment I just didn't have it together. 240. what a rip off you could get a better steak from Denny's this place ruined my birthday

Wow! Another wonderful meal at the Golden Steer. The food and service were excellent. If you live here, this restaurant should become a regular for you, and if you are visiting this is a must try restaurant your sure to return to. From caesar salad made table side to the prime rib or steak and a wonderful desert like bananas foster or cherries jubilee made table side, this is one of the best restaurants in town. Can’t wait to go back soon for another great meal.

We love this Steak house and eat here every time in Vegas, the only reason we gave the food a 4 is because the lobster wasn't quite right, the steak was amazing and so was the potato and the salad, Dale
