Came for my birthday celebration from San Diego after seeing Golden steer on Instagram. Requested to sit at Marilyn Monroe’s booth upon booking my reservation and was given her booth to dine in. The ambiance was great and the service was as well. The food was exquisite and lived up to the hype. Ordered the petite filet mignon with Crab legs and the Alaskan lobster tail. This was the only reason coming to Las Vegas! I will most definitely be coming back! thank you for a great experience!

First time visiting this classic steakhouse. It lived up to all the hype. Service was tremendous. Food was amazing. Sat in the John Wayne booth and felt like VIP’s. Definitely going to visit again.

The ambience was certainly preserved but the food left much to be desired. The steak and sides lacked flavor/salt. The best part of the meal was the Cesear salad and shrimp cocktail. We ordered the tomahawk steak for two, twice-baked potato and macaroni and cheese--all lacked flavor. Will not eat there again but it has been checked off the list for historical value. the staff were very attentive but couldn't make up for the shortcomings from the kitchen.

Meal was spot on. Filet and lobster combo comes with salad and a side. A lot of food. We also ordered a shrimp cocktail so way too much food but all excellent. Service was great as was atmosphere. Definitely a worthwhile part of restaurant rotation in Vegas.

It was outstanding! We sat in the Dean Martin booth and it was lush. We had drinks at the bar before dinner. Everyone was friendly, a man liked my husband’s cologne - and a lady with a playboy bunny jacket caught my husband’s eye. He insists she was a retired bunny! Fun! We loved the Caesar Salad!!! My husband had the Prime rib and roasted veggies. Fantastic! I had the Petite Filet and it was phenomenal!!! A couple more cocktails and some anniversary cheesecake topped a perfect meal. Our waitress Lauren was lovely!

The Golden Steer was everything I’d heard about it, and we were thrilling to be there! The New York was perfect, and the lobster tail was amazing! The wait staff is awesome and we couldn’t have been more pleased.

Second time in while visiting from Indianapolis, brought my stepdad on our trip this time. He was very impressed and we very pleased as before. When we come back to Vegas we'll be stopping in. ONE DISLIKE ...... It could stand to be a tad brighter inside.

This place was amazing. I’m from Chicago, where there are plenty of top notch steak houses. The Golden Steer provided excellent service and had a very knowledgeable wait staff. We ordered the famous table side prepared Ceasar salad. It was delicious. Try their Golden Steer Cocktail, and their dirty martini was on point as well. With drinks, appetizers, salads, and our main courses (Jumbo Western Australian lobster tail and Longhorn 24oz New York Cut) our bill was $300 before tip. This would have easily been double that if not more at any other casino steakhouse. Well worth trip. Located a quarter mile from thaw Palazzo and Sahara casino’s.

We have eaten at The Golden Steer many times however this visit was very mediocre. My Steak was tough. Cream spinach was watery. The sautéed mushrooms were swimming in a gravy and weren’t sautéed. My wife’s steak came out raw and took 10 minutes to come back cooked. Overall, there are many other steakhouses in Vegas that are much better. All are the same price as well. The highlight was the Old Fashioned Cocktail it was excellent.

This visit wasn’t to celebrate anything but getting to have dinner there is always special! It’s our favorite! Always delicious, service is great, it’s always an A+ for us still after many years!

Absolutely awesome dining experience. It was very old school Vegas. We had the table side Caesar salad, seafood stuffed mushrooms, bone in ribeye that was sliced for us and cooked to perfection. Finished it off with a table side bananas foster to complete a great experience. We will be back.

Second time at Golden Steer and food and service was top notch. David is absolutely amazing as is all the staff but chatted more with him.

Ribeye was perfectly cooked and the baked potato was a great side dish. The Cesar salad was probably the best one I’ve ever had.

My husband and I came for dinner. I really wanted us to love this place but we both agreed once was enough. Cesar salad was okay but we definitely have had better. I got the 10oz prime rib it was good, not great. My husband got the dry aged bone-in ribeye and that was also good but not great. My husband noted it must not have been aged long as the flavor was not what you would have expected for dry aged meat, he’a a butcher and has been a private butcher in highend steakhouses so he knows his meats. Service was good but also a bit slow, lots of servers standing around We really wanted to love this spot but it’s just didn’t live up to the hype for us. It does have fantastic ambiance.
