We got married 6-22-2019 at the Golden Mast. We decided to come back for our one year anniversary and we had a wonderful time!!

We had a wonderful dinner and the food was delicious! Our service was excellent!

Great outdoor patio experience. You can order off the main dining area or patio menu. Beautiful lake views and boat parking.

Safe and responsible service during Covid times. You do not find that anywhere else on Okauchee.

Wonderful experience, hadn't been is quite a while and very pleased to see that they continue to maintain an excellent upscale restaurant experience with beautiful views of the lake.

Had a great dinner for my birthday!

We both ordered steaks and they were over cooked. My husband ordered medium raw and I ordered medium and both were well done. Flavor was good but for the price we expected the steaks cooked to our liking.

Food and service were exceptional. Stefan was excellent.

A complete cluster from the time we walked in… Re-opening after Covid… Understaffed ....waited 10 minutes at the bar for a cocktail 10 minutes at the hostess desk for a reserved table and 20 minutes at the table waiting for our server! Inquired about about a house specialty on the menu was told that it was beef with pickles wrapped in bacon… There were no pickles to be found I enjoyed my lunch at Culver’s the day before much better! All this place has going for them is a beautiful restaurant on the lake... The food is nothing to write home about and I see why they only have 3 1/2 stars!

We usually come for the happy hour and then have an appetizer or two. Beautiful setting and great service! MUCH better than 7 Seas!

Staff was very accomidating, it was a great night and they let us sit just outside the dining area along the railing facing the lake. Thank you, it was a great time.

Brunch was wonderful. Way too much to eat but we certainly made a dent on it. I would highly recommend Sunday brunch at the Golden Mast.

Lovely dinner as always!

We love coming here for Sunday brunch. It is a must when friends and family come to visit. It is such a great value, the food is fantastic, and the staff is friendly. We can't wait to try dinner in the wonderfully charming Inn.

It was a very lovely evening and time as it usually is at the Mast. Food was great and atmosphere is really nice. It was for our anniversary and we were given a very nice strawberry schaum torte - best one ever had.

Everything was fantastic. We went there for my husband's birthday. The food was fantastic. I ordered the 12 oz./smaller cut prime rib. When she brought out the food she even said to me here is your 12 oz. prime rib. But it sure seemed more than 12 oz. When we received the bill we were charged for the 20 oz. piece. Since that is probably what I received I did not say anything and it truly was very good. But very disappointed to have to have paid more than what i expected. Just need to pay more attention when they ring up the food to actually give and ring up what is ordered. I again didn't say anything because I realized after the fact that i was paying for what I got but not what I ordered. Everything else was exceptional so will return.

We go there often. I forgot my purse and drove back by myself. I called and spoke with a very young man. I asked if someone could run my purse out to me as I was there, he replied then someone would have to go down to the basement. I asked why? He said to get their coat and was very nasty. I would have given a nice tip but went in and got my purse from the hostess stand. Very unnecessary. It seemed like there was no management there that night.

The night was great but unfortunately we had our bar tab added to food tab ….the problem was extra charges for drinks we NEVER drank were added to our bill:( When we question it they said ; "You're probably mixed up and don't remember !! WRONG!! We were sober!! they insisted we still didn't remember and had accusatory attitude!! Well, GREAT night turned into a SPOILED night!! So my recommendation is pay your bar bill for each drink right away then pay for food tab separate!! I Hate dishonest y like this!!

My wife ordered the 6oz. Filet Medium Rare and it arrived over done. I ordered the Sirloin Tips and they were tough. We mentioned to our server that the steak was over done and all he said was sorry. The price of meals were not worth it. I guess quality beef isn’t there strong point. I would not recommend any selection with beef on the menu to anyone. It was a bad experience and we have been to this establishment numerous times. The quality of the meal was not worth the price.

We had ordered a salad and soup before our entree. We had not finished either of these when our main entree arrived so I felt we needed to eat fast in order to get to the entree. The French Onion soup had very little broth, mostly mushy croutons. The salads were great. My entree of beef rouladen was not hot so was sent back to be warmed. I’ve had beef rouladen numerous times and I felt this meal was so-so. The gravy was bland and spaetzle chewy. I would not order this again if I came back. Was not worth the $30 price tag.

The food was great but my wife and I kind of felt like we were being herded in and out like animals. I realized it was Valentine's Day and busy, but it is not an excuse for the poor customer service. Our waitress was extremely short with us and really never proactive in getting us anything through out the meal. I don't think she really didn't want to be there.

Celebrated Valentines Day there. Could not have asked for a better meal. Had Almond crusted Walleye. Delicious. Took half if it home along with half of my potato and enjoyed it for lunch on Saturday. Loved the hot bacon dressing on my salad asI haven’t had that for a while. The chocolate torte was delicious. The only thing lacking was the quality of the rolls. They had a funny texture and not favorable. Can’t wait to go back.

Valentine’s dinner. I had lobster tail and filet. Excellent. My husband had 2 medallions of beef topped with a large scallop on each. Excellent. He had a side tossed salad and I had spinach salad with hot bacon dressing. The hot bacon dressing wasn’t hot. I was disappointed. Will go back again.

Beautiful lounge area with friendly staff excellent German cuisine

When I made reservations, I told them it was our 35th anniversary and my 70th birthday.
I asked if they could make us a sugar free dessert.
We were greeted with great indifference.
No one remembered about our celebration.
One waitress taking care of a lot of tables. Had to remind her several times about things we ordered that she forgot.
The food is nothing special...and over priced.
Seasoning is bland. Nothing gourmet about their food. Two steps above a Denny's.
If you want really good German food, go to Kegels. Night and day.
We won't be returning to Golden Mast. The whole experience was a bummer top to bottom.

Great food, great service, great ambiance, great views. Our favorite for special occasions and just going out to dinner.
