Great experience, but bring your wallet!!
Quality of food was excellent as well as the customer service....food is a bit pricey. Good wine selection and recommend the french onion soup
Had a great time and Martin who was our waiter was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back!
We had a great time at The Golden Bee. Drinks, food and service were amazing! Love the piano sing-a-long! But it is quite expensive!
Loved it!! We will definitely be back.
Great meal. Dinner was a bit slow but still delightful.
Great food.. Server Alyssa wAs outstanding...had a fun time....food was exceptional...soups were phenomenal....beer cheddar and french onion are recommended.
Fish and chips was fresh, hot and crispy. The French Onion soup was perfection, hot and salty with plenty of cheese. I had been disappointed in the french onion soup at The Tavern so I was nervous about ordering but it was delicious. Good cocktails, too!
We have been going to the Golden be as a part of our birthday celebration for the past several years. It is a bit pricey but has a great atmosphere and food. The sad part is that on this last visit, we were a bit disappointed to discover that they have changed their menu. As an English pub, their offering of pub cuisine is one of the reasons to go. The Bee was well-known for its shepherd's pie, chicken pot pie, fish and chips, and bangers and mash. Sadly, three of the four items have been dropped apparently by their new chef. Only fish and chips remain. Cudos to the Maitre 'D who immediately told us that next time if we call a couple of days ahead, they can make our favorites in advance of our next visit. The service is, as always, excellent, but I would really like to see the return of our favorites to the regular menu.
Five of us enjoyed all. One member of our party ordered fr onion soup that he could not eat but did not tell our server.
Service was very good.
We will fo this sgsin.
LOVE LOVE the Golden Bee and the Broadmoor. Such a fun place.
We live in the BRC community up the hill and always enjoy the Broadmoor restaurants.
The food was very very good and the service was outstanding.
LOVE those little Bees!!
Service here is hit or miss. This was the 5th year our group of friends lunched at the Bee. Unsure if we would continue for year #6 simply due to service. I have high expectations of the Broadmoor and feel that over time the commitment to service has been on the decline.
Great food, great service, great entertainment. Great place to celebrate for any occassion
Vanya and Azra were terrific. We had a great time and enjoyed the dinner and drinks!
Always a fun experience here, especially when out of town guests are visiting for the first time. They mentioned the menu will be changing, so we'll have to go back and check it out! Always follow up with a walk around Broadmoor for the full experience.
So I’ve been here 3 times now and not been disappointed once. The food was great, service on point and overall experience ending on a high note. The drink menu may seem high priced, but the bartenders know what they are doing as the mixtures are done wonderfully. For a fun time, great value and any occasion this has become a fun spot to take family and friends in town. So far favorite meals are the Burger and the Shepard’s Pie (with lamb).
wonderful atmosphere!! I would recommend the Golden Bee for the experience!! It was a little pricey but overall great time and food!!
Good food, good service. It's a pub so it's a little loud. Fun, not for date night.
Not good value for price. A cocktail was $14, for example, and it was served in a small glass mostly filled with ice. It was worth half of that price. The food was very salty. The Blackened fish sandwich was cold, overcooked and dry, but dusted with salty, spicy rub. Not a pleasant combo. Best part? An attentive and pleasant waiter. But overall, disappointing
need more food choices....possibly steaks and potatoes
We had such a wonderful time celebrating a friends birthday. Our waitress was great! I'd definitely go again.
We had a wonderful time. Reservations at 8, then stay for the singalong. Service was excellent! Had the French onion soup which was a bit rich for me. Signaling was a blast!!!
Nice atmosphere and food was good. However, it felt like they were always in a hurry even though the place wasn't full. Yes, there were large tables due to a convention but still. I was alone then had a last minute person join me and we had to ask for table service. We were cashed out before they asked if we wanted anything else.
The piano player was good. Wanted to stay for one more glass of wine and sing along but was ignored.
Our meal and service were both amazing. Thank you for a great lunch. We will return soon.
Cute gastropub on The Broadmoor property. Menu is definitely limited. We shared the avocado appetizer & the blackened reddish sandwich. We found the blackened reddish to be great but the avocado appetizer was a bit disappointing. We’re glad we tried the avocado app but it didn’t have much flavor.
Food was overpriced for portions and mediocre taste.:(
Another great visit to the Golden Bee for my wife and I. We eat here whenever we have a "staycation" at the Broadmoor but this time we were just driving back from CO Springs and decided to stop by for lunch.
The manager greeted us at the front and sat us at a wonderful corner booth upon my request - very accommodating and friendly. We had another great lunch at this historic restaurant and will be back soon!
Two couples out for an evening of food, drink and conversation. We were greeted by our server who customarily threw the bee stickies on each of us! He delivered our drinks promptly, as well as taking our order. He was present as needed without hovering. We all loved the cheesy butter for the crackers. Two of us had the beer cheese soup which was rich and tasty. Each of us ordered fish and chips. The pieces of fish were small relative the the over abundance of fries we each got, but the fish was good. Shared for dessert was the sticky toffee pudding which was very good.
The Bee is a great place we have frequented and will continue to do so.
Great English gastropub by the Broadmoor. Go for the stews and pot pies---chicken pot pie is to die for and the Shepherds pie is nicely spiced. Had a pint of a drought on tap.
This is just not my idea of a piano bar. The songs r from a music book and unless u like singing, "you are my Sunshine" the place isn't for u. Food isn't very good either but the service is great.
This was our second time here - what a treat! Fabulous service, as well as good food. We came for the ambiance and we happily surprised about the food, service and value. LOVE the cheese spread provided when you sit down. And, walking distance to the Pensrose Museum and Broadmoor.
Great spot at the Broadmoor. The food, service, and atmosphere are great!
Everything was wonderful, but the chairs were too hard
An annual trip to the Golden Bee is a family tradition. But, it is a resort so prices are excessive. It is an experience that is unique and old school.
Great to count this as our "neighborhood" bar ...
Excellent service. Comfort food. Laid back atmosphere.
Great food and service!
Excellent environment and atmosphere. Really great interior
Always a great place for a nice meal and drinks with family and friends.
Even though there was a large party that brought the noise level to a point where we couldn’t converse, Heather, our server, was a rock star again. We had her the first time We went there and got her again this time. She really cares about our overall experience.
Very delicious. Highly recommend the Bangers and Mash. The cocktails were slightly overpriced compared to other comperable restaurants. Overall a very enjoyable evening.
