    We always love eating at Goin' Coastal-it's certainly our favorite seafood place to eat. Our server was great; the food is always outstanding, and everyone is real friendly but professional. We ate early yesterday -4:30-so the noise level was great at that time.

    Excellent service, impeccable food. Very lucky to have this caliber of restaurant in Canton. When they say fresh, they mean fresh. I've been dining here for over a year and it's always top notch.

    It was our anniversary, I gave them notice ahead of time and that sat us 5 feet from the bathroom. Which didn’t make us very hungry.

    We're from Pensacola, so we're pretty picky about our seafood. GC is in the same league as our favorite seafood restaurant in Pensacola. Nice to have a top notch seafood option while we're at our Canton home. Incidentally, for you craft cocktail enthusiasts who enjoy whiskey based cocktails, the "Double Down" is as good as it gets..

    We ordered blackened Pompano. It had a strong fishy taste and we drowned it in lemon juice to make it edible. Sides were delicious but very disappointed in the main course and shrimp appetizer. The appetizer was not fresh. Overall a disappointing visit. We frequent Goin Coastal for all special occasions. Last night's visit was a major disappointment and not up to there usual standards. The only exception was our server, who was outstanding.

    The food was tasty! Didn't realize things sell out so fast - so that was the only bummer. Haha! The things that were recommended to us from a friend weren't available. A bummer, but we enjoyed what we had!

    Always enjoy here. Food is great. Best Oysters Rockefeller ever. Salmon toast, family style salad and the yummiest cream brûlée. All reasonably priced and service is great as well. If I could change anything it would be the noise level which is a bit to high for my taste. Otherwise it is one of our favorites.

    Have been to Going Costal often this was the best trip ever! Oysters Rockefeller were the best I have ever had and fried shrimp were huge, fresh and delicious. Our waitress was patient and attentive. Looking forward to a return trip soon.

    We have been a customer of Goin Coastal for years and expect the best. Our latest experience was no exception. Our server Courtney was excellent. I always get the Shrimp and Grits but her suggestion of trying the special (Flounder & Risotto) was the best! A nice bottle of the Chardonnay and a finish of Creme Brule made for a perfect evening for a senior couple. Thanks again for a great evening!

    We arrived early for our reservation but were seated promptly without issue. Service was friendly and well paced. We enjoyed the cornbread and salad provided to us before our meal, and opted for fried pickles as an appetizer (the comeback sauce was great!). Nice selection of draft beer (local craft beer) and cocktails. Entrees were nicely presented and both my husband’s and my selected fish were done perfectly. A very nice evening out.

    Fried shrimp delicious, as always! Brocoli veg with tomatoes was tough; had to send it back for another side. I ordered gin and tonic with a splash of ginger ale. Waitress brought gin and tonic with grapefruit juice. It was too sour; had to send it back. Yesterday’s visit was not as good as usual.     There was a time when this was our favorite restaurant. The food is still very good, but the service has declined the past 5 years or so. There have been times when food came out at different times, where I had to send back a piece of fish, where orders were wrong, where service was a bit slow, etc. None of these were major, but there seems to be 1 or 2 issues each time. Last night we did not receive our salads before the entre'. It took a while for the server to find the wine list (ipad), and even longer to bring the bottle of wine we ordered. We were done with our appetizer before the wine even arrived. Again, nothing major, but these issues never occurred until the last 5 years or so. We hadn't been in a while, but my wife wanted to go back for her birthday. She loves their food, especially their fresh fish, so I agreed. At the end of the meal, even she agreed we won't be going back. There are too many good restaurants in Canton now to choose from where service is more reliable.
