We have been there twice now, I have had the fish and chips and the beef stroganoff which was very good, I can say one of the best I have ever had. We were eating there before a Target Center concert so a quick walk across the street - very convenient.
Will be back !
Great place to go before or after a Twins game--stadium one block away. Also convenient to many theaters. Great food and drink.
Went before Timberwolves playoff game. Food was very ordinary but was made up for with outstanding service. Was real busy yet drinks and food came very fast.
Great place before a T Wolves. Really enjoyed the different German entrees and apps. Plan on going back on a regular basis.

My friends came into town for Easter and wanted a good fish fry. Our server was text book perfect and the all you can eat fish was amazing!

Even with having reservations we were seated in the bar instead of the dinner area,
I was kind of disappointed in the seating, because the dining room looked to have open tables,
Service was disappointing - one of our party did not get their food until the rest of us were practically done with ours. No offer to comp her dinner just an I'm sorry.
Had reservation for noon. Arrived at 11:45 to a locked door. Website says open at 11:00. They don't open until noon. Other than the time, we had great service and wonderful food and would recommend it highly to friends and family.
Stopped here before attending a performance at the Cowles and had a wonderful time! The food was delicious, our server jovial, and the atmosphere relaxed. I tried schweineschnitzel spaetzle with a side of German potato salad - both were fantastic. I'll be coming back to sample more of the menu.
Totally enjoyable dining experience! The grilled bratwurst & german potato salad were delicious. We enjoyed our meal with Not Your Father’s Root Beer. Save room for dessert because the Bavarian Apple Strudel is absolutely worth the 8 minute wait that it takes to prepare this scrumptious dessert. The server was knowledgeable and pleasant! We will definitely return to Gluek’s Restaurant & Bar when visiting Minneapolis.
Great food, great beer, neat ambience. We made reservations online, and good thing we did! It was really busy on a Saturday evening.
We were up here for the State Dance competition, we were seated right away and great service! She was personable and asked us about why we were there as well as wishing my daughter good luck! The food was excellent !

The service was great and the food was so yummy. The building is great and they display all the historic pictures. We are planing to go back to try more dinners we saw being served.

This was our first visit to Gluek's for a girls pre-concert meal...Food and atmosphere are great! Great beer selection and amazing pretzels...We will definitely visit again & again!
The Beef Stroganoff and Gulaschesuppe were delicious and authentic. We will be back again to try more.
There before a Vikings game. Great place to blend with the crowd instead of being consumed by one.
The service was phenomenal and the food excellent. We were running late and once I explained our predicament to Tony the entire staff sprang into action. I have never had service that fast with no sacrifice to food quality. It was amazing! Drinks, food, tickets rang up, doggy boxes all done in record time!

Great schnitzel dishes and sausage. I had hoped there would have been a few more selections from the "old country" to choose from. What we had was wonderful. The table area in the bar was very congested and the sound level was distracting. The place was full and the atmosphere was comfortable if you like being in a large beer hall environment.
Reserved table for pre-TWolves game. Table was ready with my name on placard when I got there. Jessie was our server, and did an outstanding job serving our table despite it being incredibly busy! Food was very good, and wait time very reasonable. Would definitely go back again, as this was my first visit.

I loved everything about this place but the noise level. We went with friends and all 4 of our meals were very, very good (sliders, chicken bbq sandwich, veal w/spaetzle) and despite being very busy the service was excellent. However, it was somewhat difficult to converse. That said, it was very convenient to the Target Center, where we were headed for a concert. I would definitely go back - especially if eating right before something at the Target Center!

Great place to go close to downtown venues -- we were going to Illusion Theater. Fun party atmosphere.
Met our nephew and his family here for an informal meal. Food was very good. Our waitress was exceptional.

Lunchtime Team Retirement Celebration - food was great, staff very responsive, warm ambiance. Love the steak & mushroom salad! So many restaurants/bars have TVs and/or loud music - at Gluek's, we can always hear each well and have good conversation. Well worth planning our celebration at Gluek's!
