   You could hear the live music from the lounge while dining. The restaurant overlooks the runway.

   Set in a beautifully serene and upscale environment, the Easter buffet at Fairmont Vancouver Airport offered a quiet and uncrowded dining experience with stunning views of aircrafts gliding by—minus the noise, making it a unique and peaceful setting. The food was top-notch, featuring a well-curated selection of gourmet dishes, and the service was exceptional—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. However, despite being advertised as an Easter buffet, there were no festive decorations, themed desserts, or special surprises for kids, making the event feel more like a regular luxury dining experience rather than a holiday celebration. A small gesture, such as complimentary Easter surprises for children—a chocolate egg, a themed treat, or a fun activity—would have made a significant difference in capturing the spirit of the holiday. My child was particularly disappointed, as the only reference to Easter was a small sign near the starter area, with nothing else to make the experience feel festive or special for young guests. While the ambiance, food, and service were excellent, the absence of Easter-themed touches left something to be desired.

   We had the 1000 crane Make Wish bento box. Presentation was fantastic. The only issue was that the bbq chicken was dried and hard and the rice in the sushi was hard and cold. No taste of actual fresh rush. The tempura was plenty, but unfortunately not light and fluffy dough. It was a heavy breading and oily. I hope it improves for the next guests. Thank you.    Excellent service by Josephine, wonderful cocktails, food and wine. Pricey but VERY convenient for traveling.

   Shalinette is our favourite server at Globe! We’ve been many times but she’s always the sweetest, most attentive and makes our dining experience that much better!

    The positive side is the staff is always nice and attentive. We’ve been there several times since it’s the only decent place in yvr pre-boarding. While the food is good, the value is not great $28 for a regular breakfast with 1 piece of toast and $7 for coffee. The chairs are very worn and could use a refresher. Noise level depends on the clientele and some people tend to talk or FaceTime on their cellphone at the restaurant.
