We eat at Glenwood Grill often. The food is better than the cocktails. We have had check accuracy issue twice - billed for things we did not order or get. Both times with the same waiter. Check you bill. The food is wonderful - one of the best Shrimp and Grits anywhere. My primary complaint is that is it VERY loud when busy.

I feel you have slipped somewhat. My Mac N cheese was watery, Brussels sprouts were tasty but under cooked, and who puts celery in crab cakes
We had out of town guest and they said it was “so-so. Another friend said she has had much better

Way way too loud for any kind of dining experience. No conversation could be had between old friends. Can think of no reason why anyone would enjoy this experience.

Chris and Bryce made the occasion perfect! Chris was able to move us to a table where we wanted it at the last minute. Bryce (waiter) even was able to gain access to a wine aerator that helped to make a poorer bottle of wine....better. Super evening as usual.

The service was the best I have ever experienced. We were greeted with warmth and spoiled by the attentiveness of the wait staff. Our food was delicious and we were happy with our overall experience:

Smaller restaurant which I liked. Not noisy, but vibrant. Menu offers 1/2 portions which are just right on some dishes. Services and food choices excellent. Highly recommend.

Friendly professional service and excellent food. We love this place and eat here often. Good martinis and specials. Our only complaint ever has been the noise.

A hidden gem in an unassuming strip mall. Have never had a bad meal here and rotating daily specials keep it interesting.

This is a good spot for a date night. One observation of the crowd. Most people eating on a Friday evening were over 55 years old (we are 30)

This was our first time visiting Glenwood Grill and we loved it. The food and service was amazing. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. Tina our waitress was outstanding and we will be asking for her when we return. We are already planning on returning soon. I highly recommend the Glenwood Grill.

Awesome food and service. One of gem in Raleigh. We wanted to chat but seemed to be rushed. Our reservation was at 5, so we understood wanting people to leave... but we hadn’t gotten together for so long. We also understand getting others in to the restaurant, but for an establishment and cost please expect people to enjoy their food and company for at least an hour. Other than that, wonderful food and service.

Great food with uneven service in an extremely loud dining room. Our party had two appetizers - pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes. Both were excellent. Entrees were also very good - salmon, carpet bagger and pork. Our server was very slow to greet us and we had been there 25 minutes before we could place a drink/appetizer order. Once we ordered, things got better and he seemed more attentive for the most part. The dining room was small and very loud.

Early dinner with a 6 PM reservation. Restaurant was 2/3 full. As usual, food was very good (scallops, fried oysters, short ribs, she crab soup) and server was attentive. Noise level was high, even with the restaurant not full. Acoustics are not great as I could clearly hear all conversation from tables around me.

The food was delicious. It was served hot. Wait staff was very attentive to your needs. We tried the banana bread pudding for dessert. It was served warm with vanilla gelato. The combination was just right.

She crap soup and gumbo are excellent. Per my personal experience of eating gumbo, the gumbo was the best one I ever ate. Not too spicy and food was awesome. I highly recommend anyone who loves seafood especially she crap soup and gumbo! By the way, we ate there at noon. Reservation is highly recommended!

I hadn't been to GG in a while, and was so glad it was suggested.
