We were seated immediately, only they wanted us near the service doorway which we changed to a better location with no problem. Served came within minutes and brought wine glasses for our bottles of wine we brought with us. Food was very good and creative but I couldn’t give it 5 stars. My skirt steak had a terrific flavor but was a tad grisly which was hard to cut and eat. The sides were definitely inspired. My husband’s short ribs were tender and flavorful. He especially enjoyed the whipped mashed sweet potatoes. Brother in laws pork chop was just ok. Nothing special and a bit dry. We will be back when we return to The Mac for a performance. We had an enjoyable experience and would recommend this place to friends.

Love that all the entrees on the menu can be made gluten free for those with celiac/gluten allergy. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant.

What an awesome experience. Your staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Edna our server treated my friend with great care and patience. She made great suggestions and checked back frequently. The food was delicious! Expertly prepared. My only regret is that we did not save room for dessert.

This is a great pick for our group of 8. Variety on the menu was very good-but they were out of the short ribs so three of us ended up with pork chops. Large sized chops, and the kitchen did a good job on two of three. One was missing the pink center as ordered. I had salmon on squash risotto. Portion was fine and done just as ordered. They are very flexible on sides so if you want sweet potatoes instead of fries, done! Big bonus on Wednesdays..a bottle of wine is a penny if you order two entrees, one selection per type of wine but great deal. Service was excellent! Appetizers, salads came out quickly right after the drinks. Kitchen was slow on the entrees but all 8 came out at the same time. Nice job!

When we arrived we were seated promptly. The wait staff asked about dietary limits. I explained I am gluten intolerant. They brought regular rolls on one plate for my husband and one amazing gluten free roll for me. The Thanksgiving menu was amazing. We both started out with the autumn salad for first course. So many flavors, spring salad mix with basil leaves, tart apple slices, cranberries, and a balsamic dressing. I ordered the turkey dinner and my husband ordered the maple glazed salmon. Moist and flavorful, lightly seasoned. We could not eat it all, got carry out boxes for entree, and also brought home gluten free pumpkin pie slices for later. Like other modern restaurants, the noise level was a little high. The place was full of happy customers. Prices are higher than other places, but everything was high quality and I was ever so grateful for the opportunity to enjoy delicious gluten free foods.

We love Glen Prarie, especially since it is mostly gluten-free and locally sourced. However, this trip was a bit of a disappointment. Their menu has been limited since reopening after Covid and this trip they were out of 3 of the very few entrees offered and we got there before 5 PM. Additionally, they advertised a special dessert that was supposed to have 4 different fruits in it (apples, pears, oranges, and blackberries) and they were out of both blackberries and oranges, but did not tell us.

We've dined at Glen Prairie on several other occasions and they never disappoint. My husband enjoyed the minestrone soup and the harvest salad. The soup was very tasty and full of fresh vegetables and flavor. I decided on the special - beef bourguignon was outstanding. No dessert because we were so satisfied with our main meal ! Edna wasn't our server tonight, but she did come by and said hello. She's so sweet. We will request her next time. 5 stars for this restaurant !

As always it was delicious! The special flatbread with Brussel sprouts and bacon was outstanding!! And the pumpkin chocolate chip cookie with cinnamon ice cream was so yummy!! Great job chef!! Will be back soon! The cookie needs to be part of your everyday menu!!

Was in the mood for some comfort food. As usual Glen Prairie didn’t disappoint. My mom had fish and chips, husband had the beef bourguignon special and I had the short ribs it was quite busy and our server (Chloe I think?) had many tables. She did a great job of checking in on us. The people next to us did need to wait a while for their drink order but she did tell them when they sat down it might be a while.

Waited 45 minutes for food after ordering. 3 of 6 guests (2 were children) were on a gluten free diet and the gluten free bread not brought until after the meals. Nice place with exciting food options, but I was disappointed in how long everything took despite making a reservation.

Dined at Glen Prairie last Saturday night for the first time. This restaurant is attached to a hotel. It has a nice bar area and lounge area with an open concept dining area. We were seated at the first table near the door in a banquette with an upholstered chair on one side of the table and booth on the other. I first sat on the booth side, and it was so low that I switched to the chair so the table wouldn’t be at my clavicle. The chairt was very uncomfortable thoughout the meal. Our server didn’t introduce herself, but she was friendly and brought over bread service and took our drink order right away. I had a Trefethen Chardonnay, which she brought a taste of because I usually don’t drink Chardonnay. That was nice. My husband had an old fashioned, which was way too sweet and he didn’t enjoy it. The smoked cherries were medicinal and didn’t taste good. The table next to us concurred. We both started with soup. He had a French onion, which was delicious. I had the pumpkin soup, which was not a creamy thick soup. It was more on a broth side. Not a winner for me. I had the tuna poke bowl for dinner, which was plentiful, except for the tuna. It was more like eating a salad, than having the protein of the tuna. It was fresh, though, but missed the mark with little protein. My husband had the fish n’ chips and enjoyed it. Our server was extremely busy that the reception desk people were running food. I felt a lack of attention. To be honest, there are much better restaurants to dine at, so I won’t be back. Too many misses, lack of attention and the uncomfortable seating.

Food was delicious and the wait staff and manager were wonderful. Food came a tad slow - there was some issue in the kitchen but the staff handled it well and gave a free dessert for our troubles. Will definitely be back!

The food was excellent! I had the fish and chips gluten free and it tasted like regular fish and chips. Crispy and tasty. Three of us have gluten allergy and we were so grateful the restaurant accommodated us. The service by our waitress I think her name was Edna or something she was so friendly patient and professional. Made our visit perfect. Enjoyed the warm friendly atmosphere. Everything we had was delicious - the flat bread, gnocchi, and braised short ribs. Great value for the money. The decor is just OK. It is not noisy either. Highly recommend overalls.

Glen Prairie is a gem, especially if you or a loved one is gluten-free. The menu is excellent, the staff is awesome-they get to know and remember customers. The food is always outstanding. My wife is gluten free, and I have learned that truly great gluten free food is just plain good. Most people would never know they are eating gluten free. We stumbled on this place last year when we moved into the area and were searching for restaurants with good gluten free options. It's on our regular list now and it will continue to be. The food and service were outstanding. They were knowledgeable about celiac disease and had many options. They have a dedicated fryer for gluten free items and all the items on the menu can be prepared gluten free including desserts. We will be back for sure.

Really enjoyed the rainbow trout. Atmosphere really good and service excellent. I will go there again. Parking is right there and plenty of it.

Glen Prairie is one of my favorite gluten free go-to’s. Their dishes are always delicious, creative, and we’ll priced. Service was excellent as always.

When the waitress was with us she was very nice and quite pleasant. However for not being busy at all it took quite a long time to get started. We were all going to order cocktails to start, but it took our waitress so long to get back to us that 3 of the 4 people didn’t Oder them and went straight to the wine. Once things started it was just fine and the food was wonderful.
