We were looking for a restaurant equidistant from Geneva/Lake Forest. The reviews were good so we booked for a Saturday night. Very quiet (maybe due to Labor Day Weekend), the service was outstanding, food was solid (caramelized flatbread was amazing). Prices were extremely reasonable including mixed drinks.

Our appetizer was wrapped by another service member because there was no room to put our dinners on the table. Although I had asked our waitress to put it in a box. She told me to wait. My drink was empty before my dinner was served. She never came back to ask if I wanted another cocktail. Our food was delivered by someone else and never once Did our waitress come to the table to ask us if our food was OK fortunately it was. She finally showed up with the check It would’ve been a very nice enjoyable dinner if we hadn’t received such poor service

As a celiac it’s hard to find a place that has as many gf choices that Glen Prairie has on their menu. I’ve never been disappointed with whatever I choose. This time I opted for the rainbow trout. It was wonderful.

This was our third visit to Glen Prairie. We have not been disappointed! The food is always fresh and changes with their seasonal menu. We always enjoy our favorites. This restaurant is a gem in the western suburbs. We will be back!

Service was very pleasant. Food was really good. I see why they have won so many yearly awards. The person I was with mentioned how great the actual menu was. I would recommend Glen Prarie for sure.

This restaurant is always a good choice and a neighborhood favorite the staff especially Cat the bartender always welcomes you in and their service is spot on.The food is always delicious and they always have specials Good value for foodies great for dates and families
