   The scallops appetizer was good. Caesar Salad would have been good, but the Caesar dressing was not. The tenderloin steak I had was a little on the tough side and I had it cooked medium. The atmosphere was really quiet and almost somber. I had such high hopes for this meal and at best it was mediocre. The hostess on duty was not happy nor friendly. We arrived a little early for our reservation and we had to wait to be seated, yet there were only two tables being served in the entire restaurant. While we were there the restaurant only had 4 tables being served. We had the longest dinner ever. Arrived at 6:20. Seated at 6:30 and left at 8:45. It was $223.00 for 3 people including a tip. We only saw one waitress in the entire restaurant. I wish I could give a better review but it was not up to par.

   The experience alone in the beautiful countryside is worth the trip. The baked brie starter is exceptional - best I've had. The salmon is wonderful too. Service is at a bit of a slower pace, but the ambience is wonderful - no-one should be in a hurry if you have the privilege to eat here.

   We had either the fish special or the shrimp and grits. Everyone in our party said their dish was very good. The waitress was attentive but not intrusive. Another great evening.

   What a delightful meal! Glen-Ella is a beautiful place with kind and courteous staff. The Macadamia Chicken was wonderful as was the rest of our meal. We look forward to visiting again!

   I had the macadamia crusted chicken and it was delicious. The chef prepared a vegetarian plate for my wife and she ate every bite. We have eaten at Glen Ella many times and the chef has always prepared something vegetarian for my wife and I am most thankful for that. The service was spot on perfect. Thank you. RB

   This is one of the best restaurants we’ve dined at anywhere around here . It is quiet, quaint, and has a historic charm. The staff is friendly and ready to serve you. I recommend the Macadamia Springer Chicken or the Beef Tenderloin entrees. We stayed in the 3 room suite with a lounging area , fireplace, full size bathroom, and a king size bed. The rooms are well appointed with amenities such as nice soap, robes, and snacks. There is a garden area , a pool and a guest house at this inn. We come here every year now to escape the city. It is worth the extra mile. If you need quiet relaxation and a fabulous dining experience, this is the place for you! Ditch the noise and traffic and make time to visit here .

    We had a lovely anniversary dinner here! We sat on the covered patio overlooking the beautiful gardens and grounds. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent.
