The food and service at Glasserie is great and I love the overall experience but their prices are a bit too high—given the size of their shareable/small plates specifically.
Love Glasserie! The food is incredible and the ambience is perfect. It’s a great spot to take out of towners or a date for a relaxed, low key trendy and delicious vibe.
The food and service were incredible. They had lots of Covid protocols in place it felt very safe. Highly recommend.
We ate early on a Friday in their outdoor seating area because of pandemic rules. The food was basically great. The oyster appetizer was essentially Oysters Rockefeller but not labeled that way instead as “baked” so were a surprise, wine by glass superb— a Loire Valley Pinot Noir. Cocktail excellent too. My only complaint was there was no bread had to ask for it and wait for it, in a Mediterranean restaurant with many mezze plates I would have expected house baked pita or something. Otherwise fantastic.
Lunch at Glasserie on Saturday was perfect. My girlfriends and I shared the hummus, labneh (which they are seasonally topping with a pumpkin puree at the moment, yum), falafel, and each enjoyed eggs sunny side up with a side of pita and avocado. We ended our meal with the baklava, which was also delicious. Everything was so flavorful and serving sizes were perfect. The drink menu is great as well, lots of beers to choose from and natural wines, along with brunch classics like a bloody mary. We felt very safe and distanced from others.
We had the mezze and two entrees for brunch. Mezze was sooooo good!
I always love eating here. It's my favorite restaurant in all of New York.
wonderful experience!! will definitely be back soon :)
This is one of my favorites in Brooklyn. Great food, great people.
We had a lovely dinner at Glasserie. The building and restaurant interior are beautiful and vintage. We enjoyed talking to our server, Freddie, and the food was outstanding. We ordered sea bass and flatbread with tahini and grilled onions and were very happy with both. Thank you, Freddie!
Great food amazing service strongly recommended
Cool place, but extremely loud. The dishes are good but very pricy.
Great food, service and the place is super cool. I can't wait to go back.
Everything was amazing!
Great service, amazing food and affordable. Not a combination that you find very often in NY!
The best meal ever! Mezze, chicken sumac and baklava were to die! So delicious! The service was so nice and attentive, I will for sure come back.
This place has gone seriously downhill. food is terrible.
Very very loud and noisy
Overall amazing experience.
Only downside for me was the wine list that only included natural wines which I am not a fan of.
Great food, outstandingly-designed restaurant. Worth the trip from Manhattan, will do it again soon.
Beet Salad and Cauiflower w/ preserved lemon are a must! Lamb chop portion was on the small side but great flavors with the capers! For 2 people, b/w 2-3 small plates and 1-2 large formats are a good size!
It was so great to enjoy an evening with exciting and different food. Things you'd never have at home. Made the dining experience so much richer and fun to share with friends. Made spending money to go out feel all the more worth every penny!
And it wasn't too crowded or loud, staff was attentive and just lovely. So glad we made Glasserie our choice.
I was really disappointed. As a returning customer, I used to drink and eat here at least once a month a couple of years ago and always loved the drinks and food. The last two times in the past 3 months have been really disappointing. The cocktails smelled and tasted like chemicals... some of the food was extremely salty. The flatbread and the Griddle bread were super salty. The Mushroon kataif was horrible: the egg was super runny in it snd the kataif wasn’t well cooked. To be honest the only good things were the labneh and beet salad. The lamb chops were finely cooked but more thab half of each piece was fat! I used to live it here! It was one of my favorite places. Not anymore! I doubt i will go back, if the quality doesnt go back to what it was 3 years ago... 😔
Love love this place. Best food and ambience!
Birthday dinner for two - fine food, very busy and loud.
Food was amazing! Definitely my new favorite place in Greenpoint.
Great food but small menu. Ambiance is very nice and staff was friendly. A bit pricey but again the food is good!
Everything about our experience at Glasserie was outstanding! Every meal was like an explosion of pleasure in my mouth. Loved the food. Will most definitely come back!
Always excellent, all of the way around. So appreciative of the attention to detail, especially with a food allergy.
Great find great service and great food. Highly recommended
We lived the food -
The service was super -
The noise was horrific. (No need for music)
The food was great. Mezze sampler plus 2 entrees was more than enough for 4. Flavours are fantastic and lots of great options for vegetarians. The herbed sesame cracker is delicious and an excellent gluten-free alternative to their fantastic pitas.
Service was excellent, and although the restaurant was very busy, the servers were very attentive and it wasn't too loud to easily converse.
Always delicious and great vibes. We had a good time and perfect brunch.
Amazing. Best service I've had since living in New York. The food was pristine. I cannot wait to come back as soon as possible.
Food was varied and very well done. Wait staff had it figured out completely.
One of my favorites in Greenpoint and in the city, overall. So happy to have it in the neighborhood. I was one of you very first customers!
Everything is deliciously consistent!
DO NOT GO FOR LUNCH. The very, very limited menu was unsatisfying. Mediterranean food is known for fish, aptly named because it refers to the diet of countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea. As a pescatarian, I was left with very few options at Glasserie, Mediterranean food trucks have more lunch options. I asked if they can make me a feta fritata with onions and peppers and I was refused. Considering we were the only 2 people in the restaurant, a service business, one would think the restaurant would try to make our first experience there a great one...and because we ordered almost everything on the menu including a bottle of wine. What we did get was delicious, but I felt unsatisfied having gone to expect a great fish dish, octopus, something, but all I had were pickled beats and falafel. The server was amazingly patient with me, I know I'm very demanding of my expectations, but I am also a great tipper. Being in the service business, I do everything to make my clients happy, even if it's not in our normal modus operandi, I have lost less than 3% of my clients.
This place is great. O
