This restaurant is one of my favorite brunch spots. The Mezze feast is is a must have.
Glasserie is a very stylish restaurant. The decoration as the menu have been worked meticulously. The food is refined and amazing!!!service is very good.Waiters are nice and give good advice to make a choice with the menu.I highly recommend this restaurant.
The drinks were excellent as were the vegetable dishes. The meat dishes were not as well executed--one dish was too salty; the lamb kofta was salty and the monkfish was rubbery and salty.
Griddle bread is amazing and great options for vegetarians! A brunch favorite!
Food was phenomenal and the staff was most helpful in describing the menu and how dishes were prepared. Great creative use of simple ingredient. Everything had unique and sublime flavors.
Glasserie continues to produce some of the most exciting food in the city. The ambience is unmatched anywhere and the staff sets the bar.
Love this place, even though I've only been twice in 2 years since it's a little far. I find it great for big groups and I've brought friends who are visiting—they love it too. The menu is seasonal and exciting, though I was disappointed by the cauliflower this last time (too expensive for what it was) but everything else was delicious and interesting. We had this mushroom and egg dish tht was surprisingly outstanding. It's a little dark but we asked for another candle, so not a great spot for older generations. Great for sharing plates and trying a bit of everything. Highly recommend the griddle bread and labneh!
You MUST try the Fish Bricks with the tzatziki! Heaven on a plate!
Great service - attentive and knowledgeable. Food was incredible - all tasted amazing. Musts: chicken kibbeh, bread w labneh, beet salad.
I took my parents. The food was inventive and delicious, the service awesome, and it wasn’t too noisy! Great spot with an interesting wine list. We had some dietary restrictions in the group but everyone left happy. It has a bib gourmand, but it’s a bit (~$10) pricier than that might indicate, but worth it. Definitely coming back
The quality of meals absolutely does not respond to the price. Main egg plates are $18. Dishes are not described adequately. We ended up with potatoe dish that’s described as chickpea with béchamel - according to waitress. Very disappointed. Out of three meals we didn’t finish one. And we love eating Mediterranean.
Recently visited for a much needed relaxing date night with my husband. Pacing of service was superb. Cocktails and beers were top-notch. Food, as always, was sublime. Our "night-cap" was tea, which was also incredible. Keep it up Glasserie! We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Went for brunch. Absolutely amazing food and service! Definitely adding to my list of favorite restaurants in nyc.
Great experience at Glasserie. Service was fantastic, food was perfect, and the bar deal Monday thru Thursday is insanely good!!! Can’t wait to get back here.
Beautiful place, interesting food, lovely and helpful staff
stick to wine, the cocktails are creative but were quite weak. I don't know if it was an off night since this was my first time there. I want to go back for sure.
The menu is limited and specific. Every single item on the menu is a bit unusual and unexpected. Food was very tasty. Great for people who love to try different and unusual things, not great for people who are picky and prefer familiar foods.
Always good food, never fails!
Wow.. This food makes me want to cry of how good it is. Love everything about this place.
Second time at Glasserie and it didn’t disappoint. Great mezze plates of delicious food and bread in a very handsome industrial setting. We could have stopped there but also ordered 2 additional brunch entreees for the 4 of us. Wow, so much ... so good. Its a fun spot to share with friends.
The food was mediocre, with the exception of the tahini, griddle bread and lamb kebab, which were very good.
We love it! Three visits already and many more to come.
My family and I went hear on Christmas Day. We enjoyed the griddle bread and flatbread with tahini. The lamb kebabs and the chicken kibib. The overall vibes of place was very chill with the sounds of 90’s r&b.
Big group on Christmas Eve and everything was great!
The food and the service was excellent. I had a great time. The music was also great.
Just loved it! The staff was super nice and the food delicious, highly recommend.
Had a great experience at Glasserie once again. Have been there a few times, but chose it for my birthday and it did not disappoint. We had one extra person to our party and the restaurant was super accommodating and nice to us. Great service, great food.
Our neighborhood favorite never disappoints. Food & service are always on point! Thank you for making our birthday celebration special.
The mezze feast was more than enough food for the two of us. It was absolutely delicious! Adding on the extra entree was a delectable mistake. Too much delicious food!
Food was amazing and service was fabulous in a very cools space.
Very, very loud. Food was just OK, but was overpriced for what it was. Cocktails were great though.
Always great - one of the best places in the neighborhood in an area with a lot of excellent options.
As much as we loved the food, it was impossible to have a conversation due to the noise level. In an industrial building with hard surfaces and no insulation, it is hard enough with everyone taking. Add to that really loud music, and you have people screaming over each other. Furthermore, when we asked for the music to be turned down, the waitress said "we can tell them but the owner will immediately turn it up again. It's her thing." Guess what, it is not OUR thing. And I wonder if it will still be her thing if more and more people stay away.
This kind of treatment of customers is not just offensive, it is stupid. We decided to go have dessert and drinks elsewhere and we will not be back. The restaurant is hard enough to get to without any public transport nearby, we didn't need this kind of nonsense. We will also tell all our friends about our experience.
The execution of the dishes was mostly terrible. Undercooked, flavorless, under-seasoned, too much going on with most plates, sloppy.
Food was good. Service a bit inattentive, considering that there were not very many other customers. The music loud it was difficult to have a conversation.
Glasserie is one of those NYC gems. Located in Greenpoint is a little out of the way of more traditional eating spots, but definitely worth it. The food is Mediterranean inspired and we had great plates with hummus and fava beans, mackerel, and tahini. It has a great ambiance and it's a great place for a date. Cocktails have a little twist and I recommend the ones that have whiskey or bourbon. Overall it's a great experience.
Vegan and meat-lovers' heaven. Innovative, flavorful fares with beautiful ambiance. A warm and welcoming staff that made you feel cozy while you are settling in for the evening dinner out. A must for Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn.
Where to take a visiting foodie. Worth the travel. Always amazing.
I had my cousins here for a birthday party dinner. Some in our large group of 12 included vegetarians who were so impressed by the menu as everything was deliscious! A fun time, great cocktails too and don’t skip dessert - even the last course was impressive !
Ownership, you need to seriously look at your staff and how things are being handled on a Monday night. First off, I'll say I live in the neighborhood and have eaten at Glasserie 7-8 times since it opened. Food & service has always been very great.
First, no greeter & it was basically dead. Our waiter simply disappeared mid meal. Sure this happens all the time, but no communication or handoff. When he reemerged, he sat at the bar six feet away from us & read a book, checked his phone and ate. Initially we assumed he was still on duty and letting us enjoy, but we soon figured out he must have been off after he ignored us & made no effort to check in on us. Another waitress also sat across the bar eating and checking her phone. Go behind the line! This left the rest of the staff and bartender, the ones who were now bringing out our food, to become our servers. Not sure if they were supposed to take over, but they never asked if we needed refills, wanted anything else, etc. until we started making it obvious that we wanted to actually be served.
Our Kofte came our and was RAW. I mean mushy, cold & uncooked. We asked if this was their preparation (because we were shocked) and she came back and confirmed that yes, it's supposed to be "soft." No. We took another small bite and sent it back. When it finally came back, they hadn't even prepared a new dish. It was the same picked-apart piece of meat we sent back, now charred of course. It was really embarrassing. As my wife said, "A chef would not do that."
I had to hail down a different server to order our second round. We ordered 2 beers, my wife got the wrong one & I was given 2/3 of a pint and told the keg had just tapped. They were sorry, but were going to give me this beer for free. Odd & not how to handle it.
Our $4 dessert & the beer were comp'd, but nothing else, no apologies, no clue how poorly they had performed as a group. Not sure if there was a manager there, but that person is obviously just as out of touch.
