Glass – wine. bar. kitchen. at Ledges Hotel
Glass is a picturesque place with good food, a cozy atmosphere & great service. The bartender, Pete, is friendly & efficient. The live music is a nice touch & never overpowering, so you can have a conversation.
We love it there!
We were not greeted or even acknowledged for at least 10 minutes after our arrival. Even though we had a reservation a table was not prepared for us. Our waiter was very pleasant but did not leave a water bottle for our table of 4 so we had to ask for more water several times. Ordered black coffee but was served with sugar and cream which was left on the table even though the request for black coffee was repeated. When appetizers were cleared we were questioned about keeping our silverware and the bus person seemed surprised that we wanted new silver.
As the food was fantastic we will be back but the staff needs a refresher on customer service.
The food was outstanding! We're locals, but we'd never been there before. We thought we might not like the small plate idea. Then we got a gift certificate for Christmas and tried the restaurant. So glad! There were plenty of food choices, and I didn't really get the small plate vibe at all. There were several whole meals, and I had the short ribs. Melt in your mouth. They came with potatoes . Plenty of food, since I also had the salad, which was large and delicious. We went with another couple and shared two appetizers. There was a steak special, which the two guys had. It was so much, my husband took some home. My only complaint was the price of the drinks. Wine was $9 a glass, and it wasn't a very big glass. Minor detail.
Wonderful place with great live music on Friday nights. Every dish we tried was outstanding! The brussel sprouts are a must try!
Always delicious and a perfect atmosphere. Love the move music on Fridays. One of my favorite restaurants. Highly recommend!
The food was delicious, pretty, cozy restaurant and a pretty scenic view. We will definately come back. We actually stayed at Ledges Hotel too!
We were expecting so much more after following on social media for a while. The menu had a nice selection, but the taste was average. The dining room was cold and the tables are very close together. The big draw is definitely the beautiful view of the falls from the decks, and the lounge seemed cool, but seating was limited.
We had a wonderful experience! Our bartender/server was attentive and helpful. He made wonderful recommendations. He is a skilled bartender and his drinks were amazing! The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. The food was delicious! We will be back!
We went out for my boyfriend’s birthday the food was phenomenal the drinks were amazing my only complaint is that our waitress was a little slow and flighty she didn’t really check back up on as much but other than that it was wonderful
They specialize in small portions good for sharing. The food is excellent. Good drink/wine selection but alcohol was a little pricey.
Beautiful restaurant at The Ledges Hotel. Had a lovely romantic dinner on Thursday, liked it so much that we went back on Friday to have cocktails and appetizers at the bar. The shrimp tacos are delicious.
I love the Poconos, and I’m constantly looking for different places to go. I’ve wanted to eat here for several years. It was SO worth the 2 1/2 hour drive to get there. The restaurant and staff were so warm and inviting. The food was amazing. Sadly, we did not leave enough room for dessert! We even got suggestions for a future stay. I will most definitely be back...many times. Maybe next time, we will start with dessert;-)
From the time we walked into Glass (our first visit), we were completely blown away! My husband even declared it his favorite Poconos restaurant! Food and service were both exceptional! Ambiance, second to none!
Food was very good. Wine a bit pricey. Waiter very polite.
My family was so happy with Glass we went back again the next night. Kudos to the chef!
Great place. It never gets old. Always a different menus. The chef really knows how to switch things up.
American tapas style food overlooking beautiful frozen waterfalls. Excellent wine selection and all the food was delicious!
Delicious! It was very busy and we waited about 45 min past our reservation time to be seated, but ill still rate it excellent because it was not their fault (patrons were overstaying an average seating time because the live music started and they wanted to drag out their stay to listen which pushed back later reservations). Staff was so nice and drinks/food tasted great. Also, the view of the falls is unmatched.
Food and service were outstanding. At our table, we ordered the short ribs, chicken dish and salmon but also had veggie tacos and brussel sprouts. This restaurant seems to continue to evolve and improve. My favorite restaurant in the Lake Wallenpaupack area.
Also a winner here. Food and service is always spot on. Live music to round out a great evening...
We stayed at the hotel and had reservations at the restaurant. The food was very good! The restaurant was very noisy and close quarters. The service was sub par and we even went to the bar to get s round of drinks because our waitress was not attentive. We will give it a second shot and try sitting outside when the weather changes!
Awesome place. Can’t wait to return. Great ambiance. Great live music and Pete the bartender is on point.
We stayed at the Ledges Hotel so thought we would have dinner there. The sausage dip appetizer was very good and had a kick. My shrimp tacos were delicious liked the breading on them. My fried brussel sprouts seemed almost burnt. My husband got the chicken and really liked that. Only a couple of people there so very quiet. A bit on the chilly side.
Beautiful establishment. Excellent service. Only issue was our flatbread was inedible it was so salty! Other food was great. Great portions and value.
We celebrated our anniversary at Ledges Restaurant and could not have been any happier with the food, service, and ambiance. Being a vegetarian, I was worried that my options would be limited. I was pleased to see that half of their menu was composed of fresh veggies and fun options (cauliflower tacos .. yum). We will definitely be coming back here! I be their brunch is amazing...
Everything is always amazing. The chef never disappoints.
Had a really enjoyable evening. Service was excellent, drinks were great, food was delicious. Setting is also great, and I'm sure would be even better in warmer weather sitting outside looking at the waterfall, but overall highly recommended for a very enjoyable evening. Even the live music was very enjoyable
Restaurant was very nice. Food was delicious but plates are very small. They are not kidding went they said small plates. Price is ok. But be prepared to stop by a fast food restaurant because you will be still hungry. Waiter was very nice no complaint on the service. Oh don't order the steak is really not good. We had Duck very delicious. My son had chicken also amazing and my other son had salmon also delicious poor my husband had steak really not good I make a lot better steak than that. Overall is a really nice place.
We loved it! Wish we could have eaten outside at the waterfalls but it was a bit chilly for that. Amazing view. FIrst time we've done a small plates type of restaurant. Loved it! Had all three of the appetizer specials - the jalapeno poppers were so good. Shrimp tacos - amazing! Mac and cheese so good and the brussel sprouts? Amazing!! We will definitely return to enjoy Glass again.
The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was outstanding.
The food and wine were incredible, but nothing beats the brussel sprouts! Best food we’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back!
Glass was just amazing! The food, service, view - everything was perfect. The staff was knowledgable and kind. And the food was great!
Great food, service, and wonderful ambiance. The gouda and chorizo dip, miso-glazed salmon, and mac and cheese were our favorites! Went to celebrate an anniversary, but would definitely return if I found myself in that area again.
We arrived and the host station was empty. A server and bar tender both walked by, ignoring us as we waited there for >5 minutes. We left the host station and went to the bar. We ordered a drink and asked the bar tender if he could get our table ready. He asked us if we had checked in at the host's station, which was unfortunate, given that he had both walked by us waiting there and either didn't know there was no host or just felt like insulting us. It turned out that, on a Sunday night, the bar had only two people running the entire floor: a server, who was understandably frazzled, and a rude bar tender. The food is good, but not worth driving more than 30 minutes to experience. What shines is the restaurant and hotel's exterior and its integration into the landscape.
Loved it! Sat outside watching the waterfall and eating some excellent food —-Vegetarian friendly!
We have been here several times and it is one of our favorites. The food is always exceptional for the value. Bartender is great! We love the seasonal menu changes as well. Staff is wonderful.
Food was excellent ... a little noisy at times but overall not that bad...
Great location...great food...great friendly service...great value.
A gorgeous diverse menu! Service was amazing! Beautiful view of the waterfalls... it was a delightful evening!
Everything was great. Manager was very accommodating and sat us on the deck with an amazing view under the heat lamps. We shared bbq chicken, lamb, tuna and dumplings. Will definitely be back!
