Glass & Vine Ratings and Reviews
We love Glass & Vine. The service is exceptional, especially as we always have our kids with us when we visit for weekend brunch. The onsite playground really makes this venue stand out from all others. Our servers are always friendly and on top of it. I can't say enough about how much we love this place.
Service was great until halfway through, then our server disappeared. We had to ask for a dessert menu 3x and also for the leftovers to be wrapped up 3x after which we gave up. Very cold for a windy night — they kept the doors open due to an outside event, and we froze as a result. Great food and I would go again in warmer weather with the hope that the bad service was an aberration.
Positives: Wait staff was excellent, helped us find a relatively quiet table; cauliflower dish was outstanding, watermelon salad was great. good wine offerings
Negatives: Large noisy wedding celebration seriously detracted from the dining experience. Menu was difficult to grasp; had to be explained along with descriptions of dishes, so ordering was a chore.
Interesting ambiance. Service was good and friendly though slow. Menu is limited. But what was the real downside was that two things we ordered came cold and had be replaced by a new one which took long time. I ordered short ribs and they were slightly over cooked. Manager sincerely interested on fixing issues and gave us a free glass of wine and didn’t charge the scallops. Good attitude but we don’t plan to come back.
Great food, great service & beautiful view. While we were dining, there was an outdoor wedding on the patio overlooking Peacock Park. It looked exquisite. The shrimp cocktail delicious. The bone-in ribeye steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare just like we ordered and it was outstanding. Served on the side was black truffle butter.
Subpar. Expected more to be honest. Old ratty menus. Uninformed waitress who seemed annoyed by our request to lower music (we were only ones there) i even joked with the table “she hates me” and they laughed and agreed. Later, another waiter seems to have taken over for her and he was very kind and helpful. Tip to management - tell your staff that a smile always helps. Accommodate the customer - they’re not doing is a favor by letting us be there.
This review is harsher than it probably should be, but it was my initial experience. Angry/bothered waitress and dirty ratty menu. Not a wonderful start
Food was really good but the service level has dropped.... I was treated as an inconvenience when I checked in to the hostess as well as the bartender. Hostess was handling another customer, only 2 of us standing there, but no smile or acknowledgement of anyone waiting. She left the stand to take the other customer to the far side of the restaurant, and when she returned, she answered a ringing phone. A smile goes a long way, but there was nothing friendly about her interaction. Since I was part of a group, I waited at the bar until the rest arrived, but waited a full 5 minutes before the bartender acknowledged me. The guest next to me and I kept saying, we must be invisible. All in all, it's a great location, great food - but felt like they didn't need to be friendly. It was disappointing service and hope they improve.
Nice outdoor atmosphere, although our server was very pleasant and tried to rectify the fact that our food order was served cold, by offering a complimentary dessert, we had already a terrible Christmas eve celebration, due to events that took place as the night developed.
It will be a long time before we decide to return to this location.
Food portions are very small for the $$$ charged.
Glass and Vine is a very well located restaurant in a park setting, perfect for outdoor dining. The lighting there creates a wonderful ambiance. We went for Christmas Eve dinner. The service was friendly and attentive. The food is good but it is overpriced for the quality, innovation, and presentation. There are other restaurants in town that provide a better value. I would recommend it for lite bites and drinks on a date.
They gave us a table outside next to the playground so we couldn’t really enjoy the beautiful decoration of the restaurant. The food came cold every time. The waiter was very polite and attentive, at least. We paid so much money to eat cold food in a plastic table with no view whatsoever. Not coming back
Food was fantastic as always. My only comment is that we dined at the restaurant on a cooler night (in the 60's, which is cold for South Florida), and space heaters were not set up outside. There were no tables available inside the restaurant, so we were forced to put up with the cooler weather with no heat. I think that was an oversight.
We went for brunch on Sunday. I was so looking forward to going there - being a big fan of Chopped and knowing that the chef was a finalist. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food. There were few items on the menu. The items we ordered were absolutely tasteless. There was no fresh fruit. The items themselves were totally unappetizing.
What a waste of a fabulous location.
Worst breakfast ever... the hostess was very rude, we ask to change tables, because we want some shade and she was kind of irritated, the place was empty!!!! Only 4 people were in the restaurant. The coffee was horrible... the food was bad and didn’t even brought was it said on the menu
I️ regret going there.!!!! Worst everything ever!!
