This was my first time here and honestly you’re paying for the atmosphere. I ordered the lemon garlic pappardelle with shrimp, the pasta was overcooked and stuck together and it was overpowered by the lemon. The shrimp was also over cooked and although it was seasoned it wasn’t flavorful. It was like the seasoning was thrown on top instead of it soaking through the shrimp. I had a strawberry mojito that was pretty good and some other drink that tasted like lemonade. Was it worth $80+ definitely not. I wouldn’t come back here again.
Our food and service were outstanding. My wife and I started with Crispy Yuca, followed by the delicious Charred Cauliflower. For our main course, we shared the wonderful Brick Roasted Half Chicken. Alejandro was our excellent server and Wally, the manager, also took great care of us. The new chef, Javier, is off to a fantastic start.
I recommend Glass and Vine 100%. Feels that you are inside a garden, surrounded by trees, lights and fresh air. Spaced tables to feel safe. Our friendly and polite server was Yuran. The manager Leo, was very accommodating. They have affordable prices and great variety of food. The day we went, there was live, soft music, like samba and jazz. We just did not want to leave. Can't wait to go back.
Pero ouede mejorar la calidad y variedad de platos.
Loved the atmosphere, food and drinks!
Even though I booked the table a week in advance and confirmed the day prior, they didn't have table ready. Then when they did we werre stuck all the way at last table in restaurant before park. Service was poor, table not set, very unfortunate as it was a birthday celebration.
Wonderful evening. Ordered the ribs which came in cold . Did not wish to complain , as our wait staff was very nice, trying hard. However the flies around the tables made it impossible to eat as it was take a bite, take a swipe , take bite, take a swipe . Combine that with cut up strips of cold rib eye, with cold butter on it... Not so much fun . $100+ check no drinks for two people .
Great place to eat before or after a stroll in coconut grove or the park. Food is casual and very good (not great or amazing). Nice ambiance. Good for families w/kids but would’ve also been happy here with just adults or on a date. Was a hot day and the big fans they have on the patio made outdoor dining comfortable. Tables on the playground side definitely not socially distanced, if you are concerned, but the main patio is. Sandwiches are huge! Fish dip appetizer was super tasty. Will likely visit again!
Food and surroundings were great. Service, however, was very disappointing as waiter pushed bottled water without offering non-bottled option to pad bill. Desserts were great but we waited 30 minutes to get them so I believe the waiter forgot to put the order in as they magically appeared after we ultimately reminded him.
Beautiful setting outdoors with great service and good food. pricey but a great evening1
We were a table of 4. We ordered two appetizers. One came out much earlier than the second. Once the second finally arrived, the entrees arrived. Three of the four entrees were fine. The fourth way a park chop that came out rare. We had to send it back. When it finally came out the other three guests already finished eating.
There are very large fans to keep the bugs away, however they are not placed strategically so that some guests aren’t getting blown away by them.
The best parts of this experience were the band and the lights on the trees.
Other than that I do not plan on returning because the cost of the meal is too high for it to be uncertain how the food will be.
Please stock Widow Jane
Everything about our experience was tremendous. The ambiance is beautiful. The waiter was tremendous -- I would hire him to my sales staff if I had one! He was attentive, thoughtful, and very helpful. I only wish I had his name to pass along to you. The food was wonderful. My ONLY suggestion is to figure out how to keep the bathroom clean. It was absolutely disgusting. I realize it is also used by people who visit the park, so it must be challenging to keep clean, but I think more attention should be paid to it so that restaurant patrons aren't disgusted by it. Thank you.
The ceviche and the bottle of wine we got were very good. We enjoyed the ambience but honestly the main courses were disappointing. The pork chop was over cooked and the mahi was very bland.
Great food and drinks. The gnocchi was to die for. Great service too.
Great outdoor venue. Plenty of parking. Foods good but not super great. We had oysters Rockefeller and the whole snapper.
The worst service ever! Our server (P. Matheo) was slow, unconcerned and not knowledgeable. He actually got into an argument with another employee about whether or not the oyster Rockefeller had onions in it. Our appetizer dishes were left on the table long after we finished eating. We completely finished our appetizers before he finally came back to take our dinner order. I brought 6 friends to try this restaurant because it was my birthday and I got to select the restaurant. The salads were good. The margarita had no flavor and was watered down. Overall, not a good experience.
Great restaurant in the Grove, Wonderful location. Service is quick and efficient. Cocktails are good. Several items on the menu were not available which was disappointing. Other items were tasty.
excellent spot. Food and service was spot on!
Drinks weak and watered down... they ran out of lobster which took away many menu options. Fish dip and atmosphere were fantastic.
Sunday at 2pm I should be able to order more lunch items.
Great service and food. Nice outdoor setting.
I have been to this place 3 times prior to today it’s been wonderful today’s experience was troubling service was poor they where out of many dishes and bottles of wine on the menu that’s not the worse part we go to the restroom that is attached for the place and in the female room was a man with his pants down smoking pot. The manager said there is nothing I can do. I will never come back. And I am a local very disappointing
Great service great food but don’t use the bathroom. Sure this isn’t the fanciest place you will ever visit but it’s not chipotle either. They really should do a better job about having bathrooms and not sharing the public bathrooms with a park where the homeless residents also use.
Fish sandwich not available
Even with a reservation we waited for 40 minutes to get a table. The place is beautiful, but the food did not meet my expectations, besides being expensive. Definitely not a good cost benefit.
First time .Took my Mom for her 84th BDay. Place is amazing. Our Server Alejandro was great.
The food was great. It turned out perfect for my Mom. Would recommend all to visit you will not be disappointed.
Beautiful!! Food was great (not groundbreaking, but well-above average!), friendly/attentive staff with live music under the christmas-lit trees in the main dining area. Nice for a group of friends or date night. Loved it ... will be back (in nice weather only).
This place was wonderful. We have the watermelon salad appetizer, gnocchi, and ceviche. It was delicious and the service was fantastic.
Magical place at night
It’s an open space next to a park where you have kids playing, dogs walking by and doing their business, some kids came to sell us chocolate bars, they sat us far away from the music, it’s nothing like in the pictures. Service was horrible!
Had a great birthday celebration at Glass & Vine - service was excellent, food was very good (although ordered the regular order cauliflower during Happy Hour and it was not much bigger than the happy hour portion (which we ordered subsequently)).
This restaurant is a beautiful outdoor space .My husband and I shared a few small plates. The Croquettes and Tuna Tartare,Garlic bread were great. They also have live music 5 nights a week.We would definitely go there again when we are in Miami.
Kevin and Debra Brennan
One of our favorite new finds. The most beautiful setting.
Food order totally wrong ordered expensive wine never offered to pour the wine
