I was able to change my reaoervation once . I arrived about 15 minutes late but I was still seated in a timely manner. The server was very nice and vibrant . The food and mimosas were delicious . My friend had a bday and she got a deciduous cotton candy that we shared . Music was not loud and enjoyable . The view was amazing .

Good food. Great service and ambience was amazing. Food is expensive I feel because its “Gladstones”. They can price it high because of that. But, overall, good place.

The food is not that great and it’s way too expensive ! It cost $152 dollars for 4 people and 2 of us had water and the other 2 had sodas! Too much money for the food! It wasn’t that good!

Our waiter was absent most of the time and the food was poor. I ordered clam chowder in a bread bowl and it was basically cream with no potatoes and maybe 5 clams. It was awful! However they did take my meal off the bill.

Gladstones needs a menu overhaul, it seemed a bit outdated. We had the jamaican jerk wings which were good, but kind of out of place, the thai chili calamari was pretty good would have preferred to be able to dip instead of the dish being drenched in the sauce, and the lobster and shrimp pasta was way to creamy/saucy.

I understand why Gladstones was rated best seafood in Long Beach. Not only was the fish I ordered incredibly fresh but it was grilled to perfection. The accompanying vegetables were equally fresh and well prepared. Our outdoor seating with view of water was perfect.

Hadn't been to Gladstones in years and booked this occasion for an Easter brunch with the family. Although advertised as an Easter brunch it was really just an a la carte menu with Easter "specials." We had a nice time. Food was good. Portions were good also but overall overall was still a bit overpriced. The location near the aquarium and Shoreline Village all make for a fun day.

Whether you're looking for something light or if you're starving, menu is full of great options for everyone!
Our party of four all enjoyed something different & all were happy with delicious meals!

Located in the heart of a fun walking area of Long Beach.

By the way, have also enjoyed Gladstones in Malibu - same good food & service.

This was our first experience with Gladstone's, the noise level was rather high and my expectations were for a quieter venue and not a sports bar atmosphere. Our waiter was excellent, very friendly, he knew the portions and was very help[ful. The food was very good, and presentation was good. Prices are on the high side but, understandable for the area. You get a discount on the valet parking with a validated ticket.

I made a reservation for 4 and we were seated very promptly. It was a rainy day so not very crowded anyway.
We planned on having dinner, but after very slow service and an overcooked fried calamari appetizer, we decided against it since we had somewhere to be later in the evening.

We ordered a few mixed drinks and I was surprised to get a pixie stick like cardboard straw which proceeded to fall apart well before I was done with my drink. On my second drink, the waitress actually tried to get me to use the same straw, it never would have made it. Being a native southern Californian I'm as environmentally aware as the next guy, but whomever the genius was that thought adding cardboard to my diet via a straw, did not think this one through.

We ordered more appetizers trying to keep the engagement brief, but those also took forever to come out. I assume it was because they were under the impression I liked my coconut shrimp slightly burnt and dry.

Overall, slow service, overcooked, low quality appetizers at a premium price. The lone bright spot was the sourdough bread they brought to the table was warm and delicious.

Sadly, we didn't have a good dinner w the family. Our food arrived 1 hour after ordering... we were actually about to leave before the food arrived.

The waitress was unfamiliar w the menu and kept bringing the incorrect beer to my fiancée.

We voiced our concern w the General Manager and told her we normally have a good experience...

Stubbled upon Crabby Friday special of Alaskan King Crab, 1-1/2# for $34.95.....What a deal and the food was excellent. The servers (regular server plus one in training) were spot on, friendly, funny and just made you feel welcome! Will definitely recommend and will definitely go back!!

Maybe because we asked for and used the dine lb menu but food took forever to come out , main course salmon was way over cooked and just generally felt ignored. He was quick with the beers but the food was lacking. Pretty much no different other than the cost than the chili's next door.

Food was lacking. How does a renowned seafood restaurant overcook ALL of the fish? Our server was very friendly and made a mediocre meal worth the hefty price tag. We went for Dine Out Long Beach, but were simply reminded that there is SOOOO much great food out there for equal or lower prices and I am constantly baffled at the power of a tourist trap.

We went before a show at the convention center across the street. This place was ok. Nothing special, not cheap not expensive. Food was fair. The saving grace was the service. Peter was fantastic. Will definitely come back and dine if I am in the area and he is there.

Was there for lunch on Sunday to celebrate a birthday. They did not look for our reservation just seated us right away with a requested view. It then took over 10 minutes and waving down a server to get our drink order. Not a good start.
We ordered and the food was delivered in normal time. It was good. No one asked if we wanted another drink. Nothing special offered for the birthday person.

It was valentienes day so I had high expectations for the venue. And the entire night you did not disappoint. My first time being there and my girlfriend as well we both enjoyed the night. 5 stars if I had one complaint though; the straws were horrible. It was like paper breaking down each time I took a sip of my drink.

By far the worst dining experience ever. Horrible service! If it weren't for Christian ( he noticed that our server hadn't even brought us a glass of water for over 20 minutes and helped us). The MGR ( Red top wanta be blond with glasses) is a disaster of a Mgr. Food looked like crap! I would never send out a plate like they gave to my wife at a backyard BBQ. This WAS my wifes favorite restaurant! And this on Valentines Day. Thank You for making my wifes evening a horrible one!!!!!! You will not see us or anyone else that I know again. I am 3rd gen LB and know many people. I wasn't going to write a review, but you guy's emailed me for my opinion!!!!
