Great experience, excellent server
Went here for my friends birthday! They never disappoint!
Bread is warm and fluffy. Food is ok, not baf
We were a bit disappointed. Ordered calamari which in the past was tender and amazing but this time over cooked and almost inedibly chewy. Order Ed wedge salad which was absolutely drenched in dressing. Ordered a bottle of pino noir and the glasses had soap in them so we had soap scum in our wine. Lobster and New York very over cooked! We love this place. Just a terribly cooked meal.
Service was great, Bloody Queen Mary's were awesome, and the food was very yummy. We enjoyed sitting on the patio next to the marina and boardwalk where the views were delightful. We ate here two mornings in a row for brunch because we liked it so much!
Very limited selection of salads. .....................................
My first time in Long Beach! 💜
We went specifically to celebrate my son’s 9th birthday with a giant bowl of cotton candy. I had confirmed our reservations and asked about it to make sure they still served it for birthdays and was assured that they do. Upon arrival and after ordering dinner, we were told they were out of cotton candy!😫
Great food. Our waitress was awesome and right on top of everything.
The food was good, especially after the less-than-fresh swordfish was replaced by a nice piece of halibut. The service was indifferent, actually appalling on the 'nice restaurant' scale. Unleashing young people without any training, many of whom have never themselves experienced fine food service, is a bad idea. A widespread problem, maybe magnified by the post-pandemic labor issues we hear about.
Overall we had a good time. My wife, mother-n-law and niece enjoyed themselves so no complaints here 👍🏽
It was great to be back at Gladstones with the beautiful views and delicious food. The service was a bit lacking, it felt like we we forgotten It took 20 minutes to get a glass of wine, or hot appetizer actually arrived before the wine.
But overall, very enjoable.
Seated right away at our reservation time. Our over tasked waiter had many problems which effected our enjoyment of Gladstones, but he tried hard to make amends. $18 for 6 small oysters is WAY too much to charge!
It’s been well over one year of not being able to see my 93-yr old mom I’m her assisted living facility due to the pandemic. Thank goodness we’re all vaccinated now!!!
We were finally able to take her out to this very nice restaurant! The view of the harbor is great, the food is good (not out of this world - but good), and the staff helped make our stay here very pleasant!
Great birthday celebration with family. Our favorite appetizer is the spinach Artichoke dip, my favorite cocktail is the Mai Tai and you can't go wrong with any of the main menu options. Miss the blue cotton candy but enjoyed sharing the ice cream sundae. Will take a rain check on the cotton candy. Thx to all the great staff!
Service was slow but waiter was super nice. I was underwhelmed by the menu but what i did have, i enjoyed. Ambiance was great. Loved the location. Just arrive earlier than your reservation to find parking if u don’t choose to valet.
Gladstone’s is one of my regular favorites. Sunday I took two friends who had never been there, and we all really enjoyed it. The menu was creative and tasty. We feasted on lobster and blue crab omelette, lobster quiche, bagel with lox and poached eggs. We’ll definitely be back!
Service poor. Had to ask several times for refill. We got the clam bake. No extra plate for shells or even shell crackers. No one ever checked in for anything.
It was a nice time away and to be with my husband
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary dinner and Gladstone’s didn’t disappoint. Great food, friendly service and beautiful view(lighthouse and ocean port). Easy walking distance from Aquarium of the Pacific.
I wish they had the Full menu available. some of my favorites have been taken off with the limited covid menu, but overall the food is good. Always a good place to eat and hang out
I took my granddaughters to the aquarium and then lunch. They got tired earlier than I thought so we walked over to see if we could be seated early. They were very accommodating. The place is beautiful and the atmosphere was wonderful! Enjoyed every minute!
Food was great, service was excellent. Always a memorable experience.
Great location. They have done a great job with the outdoor area. Perfect for watching a game. Food is very good. Never disappointed.
We ordered the Clumbake and Wild Caught King Crab. They brought out 2 Wild Caughts, we told them we ordered a clumbake so they took the extra Wild Caught back. Then a lady came out to apologize there are no more king crab legs, I told her you just took a plate away from us that had some she said she will give us extra snow crab. She left and came back 20 min later with the clumbake with snow crab and said later she will be back with extra king crab because they now have some and apologized. Then came back with another entire Clambake 15 min later, she said here is an extra one on us, then chief ran out and took it away and said that’s for someone else. 15 minutes later she returned with a Wild Caught plate again so we can have the King Crab legs. It was a fiasco!!! We paid regular price for everything which was around $60+ more than we paid last time for the Clambake. Food tasted great and ocean view was great!! Total with 2 sodas and the Clambake was $180.38 + $97.68 for my dads Wild caught and his drink. There excuse was being short staffed on a Sunday
Sat in the patio and view was beautiful.
food was good but was delivered kinda cold.
Clam chowda was amazing! Sushi not so great! Service needs work!
Absolutely love Gladstone’s Long Beach and are so happy they are open again. Had a wonderful Easter dinner! Glad we made reservations as there were dozens of people waiting, hoping for a table, but those of us with reservations waltzed right in. The leg of lamb was just great and such a nice change to have lamb on the menu.
The menu has been condensed with covid.
We found items to meet our hunger needs.
I didn't like that I had made a 'res' and upon
arrival we were offered a 'not so desirable'
Made a reservation for three. I was on time my party did not make it. I was seated but a waiter did not come for 30 minutes. After she took my drink a male waiter came over and said aloud we close at 8 so is your party coming. I felt it was so rude and so embarrassing, seeing as they just came to my table. I was waiting watching everyone get served it was not my fault they asked what I wanted 30 minutes after I sat.
Made reservation drove 45 min and they were closed.
Not a phone call or email that they are closed due to covid
The reservation for Gladstone’s was made for outdoor dining on Open Table. I was excited to order the king crab legs plate. We drove to the restaurant and THEY WERE CLOSED! NO WHERE on Open Table did it state that Gladstone’s was closed! Please explain to me why the restaurant still shows open on the app? Why do patrons have to call the restaurant before making a reservation? It baffles me.
This place is closed however the website gave false advertisement it was opened and we can book tables.
It was closed. We drove to Long Beach and it wasn’t even open
since gladstone was on opentable with reservation times available i booked a time for my children and I. when we got to gladstone it was completely closed. not even open for take out or delivery. that was a waste of time and gas. why are they on opentable with open reservation times if they are closed due to COVID-19? poor comunication.
Nice location and great food. Large outdoor patio
Glad you are now open. Wished you were open earlier like the restaurants around you at the Pike. Thanks James for being our server and bartender
Great day! Weather was beautiful and then service was awesome!
They make the best Mojitos in the world! Food was ok. Boston clam chowder was super thick and had very little clam in it. Chunky soup clam chowder is better! Blackened Salmon was excellent. Tasted great and was cooked just how my wife likes it. I got the lobster, clam and shrimp fettuccine. It was rather bland and the creamy sauce for the fettuccine was pretty tasteless. Our Server was excellent !
Those Mojitos were the best we've ever had.
