This place was amazing! The service was great and the food was outstanding! I had the herb crusted halibut and am already wanting to go back and eat it all over again! Also highly recommend the peanut butter pie if you want dessert 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I have food allergies and the waiter was excellent about getting everything correct!
Excellent service! Food was satisfactory! One individual in party had a bad upset stomach from his lunch! ( he had the shrimp )
We came as a party of 11 on a Friday night and felt ignored. Dirty dishes were left on our table, we had to call our server over three different times during one interaction to get everybody’s drink order. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration but we were largely ignored. We would have ordered more appetizers and table vegetables but our server never came back in between taking our order and serving our food. The food was OK but one person received their meal from the kids menu… That was something that should’ve been clarified by the server. As always the ambience and the drinks were amazing but our server and lack of service was unacceptable.
++ Good food choices, good bread, friendly service, moderate to pricey ,
-- very loud
Really service and great food.
The ribs were great but the slaw was not good. The drink I ordered was not good either. Next time I will order wine.
I’ve had the blue cheese salad many times before and always love it but this last time it was just sub par. Other than that I love GB and will keep coming back.
Treat my out of town guest to GB and he loved it! Next time he comes back to Alaska he's going to come to GB instead of another local fish and chips restaurant.
Amazing deserts and cocktails, Calimari is always the starter for my family or with co workers for business. I love the smell of the restaurant as the woods burning.
Quality of my steak was down from past experiences at this restaurant. Service was also not the best I have had at glacier
We were for the second time very disappointed in the value of the food we got... Our bill was just over $150.00, we had 2 Glasses of wine + 2 sodas for drinks.
For the food we got one serving of Fish & Chips, that was great and served hot.
For the 2 serving of the Herb Crusted Halibut, the potatoes and Fish were cold. The waitress was kind and tried to make it ok... first we noticed the potatoes were cold, they replaced them. Then when trying the fish, we again found it to be cold. We felt awful asking them to redo so we muddled thru the dinner... not enjoying at all.
This was the second time this has happened, a few months ago we bought a friend and family member visiting from New York and the Salmon was terribly undercooked.
This was our favorite restaurant in Alaska for the past 3 years since we moved here, and have raved about the place for its food and ambiance... But no more... :(
The salmon dip was wonderfully tasty!
The baby back ribs, Cole slaw, and jalapeño corn bread with maple butter was so amazingly good that the leftovers didn’t even make it to the fridge!
Plus, our waitress, Brie, kindly replaced the blackberry and basil lemonade, with the less bitter alcohol free mojito.
Decent food with marginal service - the reviews saying it is best or saying it is worst all balance out to mediocre. That said the bread pudding dessert was delicious!
While the service and ambience was fantastic aspects of the meal were not enjoyable. The shrimp appetizer was delicious, the creamy sauce paired very nicely with the fresh shrimp. I enjoyed my chili shrimp salad, the light vinaigrette and spicy yet sweet chili sauce all went tasted great together. Unfortunately, the seafood jambalaya was not good at all. It was sitting in a pool of oil and the whole thing was over cooked from the noodles to the meat.
We had a wonderful dinner the food was outstanding as always.
Outstanding seafood menu with local catch. great beer made in house. Awesome experience, one of my favorite restaurants in Alaska.
Had a great and taste dinner. Highly recommend to make reservation and avoid the wait list. Nice restaurant and friendly staffs.
A definite "must eat here" spot. Plan ahead and make those reservations!
Reservation system worked great. Crab was ok. Just not what I expected. Waiter was busy. Took a while to get bread. Fun ambience, but better places for food.
The server was so awesome, the food was delicious and even though the place was very busy we didn’t wait long at all for our food.
The service was excellent, the food was perfect, it was just a little noisy and i was a little surprised at the $60 bill (with tip $75), but ultimately pleased with my meal.
Celebrating a friend’s birthday. Service was great, as always.
Our server and service were fabulous. The food was delicious. Everything came to the table in a timely manner.
Service was great, however wait time from the kitchen was long. That's why it received 4 out of 5, not 5 out of 5.
Best service I’ve had in a long time. Excellent food.
Great Anchorage restaurant. Outstanding food and excellent service. We came twice this weekend! Nice menu with a variety of options. Delicious local seafood specials as well. Great beer brewed right on the property!
Our party of 6 enjoyed everything we had! Great waitress, great food & beautiful restaurant!
This is usually our go to place for dinner when we are in Anchorage but was disappointed this trip. Not only were our bread plates dirty, there was lipstick on my coffee cup. 🙁
Visiting from Houston, TX and we were in search of a delicious Alaskan seafood experience that wouldn’t disappoint and this did not, it was outstanding! The calamari was unbelievable and the herb crusted Halibut was perfect-this was a memorable dining experience our tastebuds won’t be forgetting anytime soon! We sat at the bar-Megan waited on us and didn’t steer us wrong-thanks again GBH
Bread came cold with cold butter. Appetizers came out 5 minutes prior to entrees. Salmon lacked seasoning. Cioppino was mostly potatoes - three of each type of fish and many potatoes. Crab in cioppino was dry.
Our server Jeff was great. Food was not as good as I remembered. Ribs was dry, we sent it back.
We still like brewhouse and will return to try other entrees.
We always enjoy the Brewhouse. It's not particularly conducive to conversation due to the noise level, but that just goes with the territory
Cold food and after sent back wrong food
Overall a nice experience. The food and service were great - no complaints about that. It’s a very noisy place though and is hard to hold conversations with friends.
It was great. Our waitress Stephani was wonderful. The food was awesome, and we will definitely be back. We had the ale cheese with pretzels, the rotisserie chicken (best Brussels sprouts ever!!!), one of the days seafood specials, and of for dessert it was creme brûlée and chocolate tort. All of the food was delicious.
It was during Fur Rondy so it was very busy and took awhile for all our orders but still amazing quality food and great atmosphere
Our last outing to Glacier Brewhouse was for my husband’s birthday. We come here for every birthday, anniversary, promotion, and any special occasion! We love any chance we get to come to GB! Seriously our favorite restaurant!
I was dining as a single and the waitress seemed to think of me as being invisible. I feel that the service was particularly poor , which is not the service I generally receive when dining there.
My bill was not cheap and I would have hoped the service would have been a lot better.
The food was very good and nice presentation. Beer is always great here.
