We went for Father's Day dinner. Bright, tasteful décor. Great variety of foods. Everything was delicious. Desserts were sublime, especially the Profiteroles and Tiramisu. Similar to much of the food we had in Italy, especially the Aranchina appetizers. Would definitely go again.
This was an absolutely incredible find. We were here for a graduation celebration and we topped the night off with exquisite food and wonderful service! This comes with our highest recommendation.
Great food and a nice view!
Service was great as well..
My husband and I loved our tasty meal and great service. The sunset views overlooking the harbor was fantastic. Although it was slightly chilly (they offer blankets on request) we were quite comfortable thanks to the glass enclosure that allowed us great people watching.
I had a superb martini and the wine suggested by our service provider was perfect for each dish. We’ll be back when next visiting Bellingham!
Fine setting and good food and Italian wine selections. The polenta appitizer is a superb appitizer that is appropriately sized for 2 people. Happy hour prices are an exceptionally good for a 3-course dinner.
Overall the restaurant was very good and would recommend to others. Only suggestion is to use just a bit less olive oil in the Linguine Vongole pasta dish.
We went for our 50th anniversary and had a lovely dinner. The service was superb and the food was top-notch! Highly recommended!
Happy Hour prices were very reasonable and with no crowd. Seated at he window and that was icing on he cake. Great food and service, highly recommend!!
Giuseppe, the owner and host, was warm and hospitable, very welcoming. The wine list was limited, but the options were reasonable. We enjoyed our mussels marinara that were mostly ‘beard’-free, which had a lovely, thick, garlicky sauce. Main course of spaghetti with scallops was delicious. The shrimp that came with the lobster ravioli were perfectly done. The ravioli, themselves, were disappointing-they had a slightly tough texture (beyond al dente) and no discernible lobster. Overall, it was a very good dining experience, and we would return to try other options, like the Sicilian specialties.
Great area, nice atmosphere all around. My pasta was okay but my wife’s was great. Great selection and overall nice place. Will return for sure.
Delicious! We went for a special occasion. They’re were awesome with our party of 8. Food was excellent. The Aranccini are a must, and everyone who ordered the lobster ravioli raved. Great place!
Always wonderful to go here. Food is consistently good and we really like the servers in the bar. Has become our typical go-to for friday date nights and company from out of town. The owner is awesome.
Never been there before. Was one of the best service and meals we have had in a long time . Thank you
This place was good. The portion sizes were a bit large, but that is why there are doggie bags. I had arancini as a starter. They were cooked to perfection. I did find the filling to be a bit too “refined” - I couldn’t tell what was in it by looking. It was just a pink paste - a very tasty pink paste. I do like to identify the individual bits. I am a bit odd.
My main course was duck. The duck was a bit underdone (even for duck) and a bit tough and stringy. The gnocchi were a bit tough and the asparagus was undercooked. Probably not a dish I would order again everyone else enjoyed their dishes, so I assume this was a one-off miss.
Desert was affogatto. Great ice cream. Oddly the espresso was served cold. This is the first time I had affogatto with cold espresso. It was ok, but in the future I would specify hot espresso.
Fantastic and Flavorful dinner!!! Our service was wonderful and we were honored to be welcomed by the owner, Giuseppe himself making sure we were pleased. Truly a PERFECT dining experience!
The food was excellent, the only negative was the food was plated cold plates which cooled food down to warm instead of hot.
Everything was great except the service. Can’t recall her name but she was not smiling nor check on my beverage nor the table or anything. Great chef!
Just wanting to eat outside by the water with a fabulous view. Service was fast, friendly and fun with the waiters. Two of us ordered the Chicken Parmesan , very tasty. One person had the Salmon meal...was great. Then we topped it off with the chocolate cake with ice-cream....Oh MY!! I am planning to go again ...even to cross the Canadian border is worth it. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon so we could be with our daughter and husband.
Best NY steak in the area by far! Excellent service and food quality!
An early before-theater dinner with friends landed us bargain-priced early dining specials which were tasty and well-served. As always, Giuseppe stopped by the table to welcome us and thanked us as we left. A very pleasant, personal dining experience.
Our dining experience was marred slightly by a raucous foursome beside us who escalated in volume as they drank. Ugly language towards the end but we were finished so didn’t ask to be reseated. I know it’s hard to control like with a crying child, but it did alter our total experience.
Great food in a lovely setting
Good wine list
Amazing food! Our server Laura was awesome and had so much knowledge to spread to us! Will be coming back!
It was an exceptionally busy night at Giuseppe's Al Porto prom night, in fact. Seating was only a short wait. The food was scrumptious and I would go again even with the noise and and the straight back ( don't stay long chairs). Wait staff courteous.
I was pleased that my wife could order gluten free and actually get home without stomach aches from gluten, grains, and lactose and still have a delicious dinner for her birthday.
Kudos to your chefs.
As usual, consistent and excellent. Food and service. Kitchen crew is great to watch in action.
The food and service were very good. Our visit was a pre-theater dinner, and the waitress was able to move our food along accordingly. The sauce on my pasta was tasty but a little bit soupy which caused some splashing despite my best efforts. Only one section of the dining room was open leaving only two tables with a waterfront view. I would suggest opening all the parts of the dining room to seat all of the window tables.
We celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary with two very good friends at the Bellingham, Wa. restaurant. Our waitress, Sarah was very experienced and knowledgeable of all on the menu. We enjoyed her recommendations for our wine selections and entrees. All four of us enjoyed our meal and had a very relaxing, fun evening. Can't wait to go back again! Thank you.
Excellent meal served by very personable staff. Perfect.
Our waitress, Sarah, was outstanding. Unfortunately, she was the best part of the evening. We ordered the Caesar and the lettuce had not been properly dried so the dressing was watery and had no flavor. We ordered the cannelloni and the lasagna. The person who ordered the lasagna thought it was light and enjoyed it. I felt the cannelloni was dry and flavorless. The cannelloni were similar to Italian enchiladas—not tender at all. We really enjoyed the house red wine. Again, our server made it a lovely dinner thanks to her numerous suggestions.
Giuseppe—Time to up the game now that you’re in the fancy digs!
PLEASE get rid of the tacky fake foliage. A simple fresh flower in a bud vase lends so much more to the table. Small touches are noticed if you are trying to create a more intimate experience in a larger corporate space. Pay a garden service and bring in real trees. Good luck with your restaurant.
Thank you for the evening.
Exceptional food exceptional service. Terrific Italian and seafood dishes. Made from scratch and incorporate many local ingredients. Ample portions appetizers and deserts were outstanding. Looking forward to visiting Gusieppi's again. They make special occasions special.
The food was delicious I had the pork chop with apricot and the bruschetta was fresh and flavorful! The ambiance and the service was top notch!
The event was a 65th Birthday and everything went well. The restaurant was helpful in holding a table setting for us so we could surprise the birthday girl. The owner came by and was gracious enough to pose with us. The food was excellent as usual. A fine evening was had by all.
Always a pleasure! Great food and Spencer (server) is always a delight!
Food was good, however the value of the dinner and atmosphere did not measure up to the final bill.
amazing caring staff and everyone was amazed with the food both taste and presentation. Large portions and did not have room for dessert.
Best Eggplant Parmesan ever! Very friendly host. Excellent waiter. Large portions. Will definitely return.
Great service and fantastic food and wine
The restaurant is huge and not romantic. My wife sent her rockfish back as it was really, really fishy and lukewarm. The manner in which they handled it made us feel like we were wrong. We weren't. The table next to us returned their fish as well.
Beautiful restaurant, nicely decorated, very accommodating. The service was fine but not exceptional. The food was a bit of a disappointment. The chicken was tough and tasted old, the vegetables were tasty but undercooked, but for all those criticisms the price was not unreasonable. I’d be happy to try it again and see if it was perhaps just an off night.
