   Giulia is a fine restaurant. The greatest difficulty is securing a reservation. Otherwise we were delighted by the food and explanations by the server as well as the overall service. The scale of the establishment makes for a warm and inviting experience. My party would all love to return.

   Food was incredible. Service lovely. Only complaint was the cold - the door swung closed so slowly and it filled the front of the restaurant with cold air.

    The food there is always wonderful. The menu changes periodically due to the seasons and what is available. Been there a few times, whenever I am in Boston and it never disappoints. The semolina cakes are always delightful. The prosciutto, pear and parmesan was a balance of sweet and salty. The pappardelle and ravioli were very delicious pasta dishes. The dinner ended with a cranberry sorbetto a balance of sweet and sour and deliciousness in a bowl. When I’m in Boston I’ll definitely be back. Making reservations is easy and the way to ensure you have a table.

    Everything about Giulia was divine. The chef has prepared a wonderful selection of dishes. The rotating menu features a variety of fresh vegetables, homemade pastas, delicious sauces, as well as many other unique, light, and savory dishes, that are delicious. The chef recommends that you place all your order at once which allows them to perfectly time the pace of your meal. Clean dishes and utensils are brought out between courses. I could go on and on about how artfully crafted and tastefully curated the menu is. The hostess and waitstaff is friendly, and demonstrates great knowledge of the menu. I would highly recommend dining at Giulia for a wonderful meal.

    I booked a reservation here for my partner’s birthday dinner. While it took some dedication to get the reservation, it was well worth the effort. The cocktails were delicious and the food was incredible! We’re looking forward to future visits.

    I’ve only been here twice but they absolutely nailed it both times. The food is exceptional, the staff is attentive, pleasant, and well-versed on the menu. The space is great. I can see why it’s tough to get a reservation here. Keep crushing it y’all!

    Had an amazing experience here on my wife and I’s anniversary slash my birthday. The sfizi we had was the warm semolina cakes with parsnip crema and fresh matsutake, which was absolutely delicious! For the antipasti, we went with the grilled octopus ‘in umido’, which had ceci, tomato, ‘nduja, citrus and was out of this world— so soft and tender. The pasta we had was the tagliolini when ch has matsutake mushrooms, rosemary, sweet cream butter, parmigiano. The pasta was al dente. Creamy, savory, and perfect! The overall experience here was amazing. Our server was great. The ambiance was dim and talkative. I recommend this place!

    Can you say love? Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and drinks. We have eaten at a few Italian Restaurants on the north end of Boston and they were good, Giulia was at a whole other level. The food was well seasoned and balanced. A wonderful evening out!

    Service was excellent. Server was knowledgeable on all preparations. We did not feel rushed despite it being a very busy Saturday night. Drinks were great. Salad courses were excellent and pasta courses were also outstanding. Pistachio gelato was excellent. Would highly recommend Giulia although parking is a real challenge for out of towners like us who cannot take public transit. You cannot refresh your parking meter after two hours- you have to relocate your car so very difficult to plan pre or post dinner activities.

    I have been to Giulia's multiple times. For special events and whenever we want just a really good meal with excellent service. I was there this past Saturday for a celebration of two birthdays, and as usual, it did not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and try it. You'll enjoy it as much as my family and I do.

    Mindful service with a casual approach. Loud, casual atmosphere. But the food. Oh, the food. There’s a reason it’s impossible to get a reservation here. Hands down the best meal I’ve had in Boston, and rivals some I’ve had at Michelin-star restaurants. Keep an eye on their reservation book, this place is can’t miss.

    The semolina cakes and burrata were excellent. The lamb sausage was a miss. Sausage seemed over worked and chewy. Tagliatelle was one-dimensional and aggressively seasoned.

    Our first return to this wonderful restaurant since the pandemic - the food is as delicious as we remembered - smoked duck pappardelle was scrumptious! The staff are super warm and helpful. Everything about the evening was great.

    Huckleberry crostata with frangipanni gelato was wondrous. Tagglliattli (sp?) with mushrooms good, Emmer Fussilli very cheesy, almost too cheesy, but very good to excellent. Featured Negroni was excellent. I must add that I am making these judgments based on previous visits to Giulia which are always a very satisfying culinary experience. These same dishes at most other restaurants would rate as excellent.

    Food was excellent especially the tautog en brodetto. Service was very responsive. Ambience was very mellow. The cocktails were interesting and had this intriguing ice that didn’t melt. The desserts were very refreshing and not cloyingly sweet. Overall a marvelous experience.
