Excellent service, the quality of the food was very high (as always) with ingenious flavor combinations that elevate classics. Will definitely go again.
This was our first trip to a restaurant since the lockdown. We had a lovely table that was fully protected, almost like a private room. The menu was varied and creative. We'll go back!
Great food, drinks and excellent service!
Always a wonderful experience at Giulia Restaurant when we visit the Bostin area. Will definitely return. Service is exceptional.
One of the best in greater Boston, if not the best!
Wonderful ambiance, great food and service. Highly recommended!!!
Oh my gosh.. if you haven’t been to Giulias, you’re missing out. It was my first time and they exceeded my expectations! Everything was beyond delicious! So delicious that I couldn’t hide the smile between each bite! Amazing - will be returning(:
Girlfriend’s birthday dinner.
amazing all around - great food and great service
Food was outstanding, very flavorful. Service was excellent. Only negative is parking in Cambridge... their street parking availability and system is horrendous and the reason we don’t dine in the area more often.
Amazing food! As usual.
Friendly service, clear explanations, delicious food.
The buckwheat pasta was outstanding, as was the in-house lamb sausage and the pappardelle.
Be sure to try some of the Sfizzi, too!
The depth to the dishes was incredible. Too 5 meals I’ve ever had in Boston. I’ll be back very soon.

A LOVELY experience for my boyfriend and my anniversary! We picked it because he’s Italian, and Giulia is the Italian spelling of my name. :)
Normally extremely difficult to get reservations, but we lucked out bc they’re less busy during the COVID pandemic. Sat outside, which was safer but a bit noisy, and they were extremely cautious in terms of social distancing.
The food was amazing, especially the prosciutto di parma with figs (!!!!!!!!). Our pastas were both a bit salty, but delicious nevertheless. Polenta dessert was amazing — perfect mix of sweet and salty. Our server also let us sample multiple wines, including their Passito dessert wine!
Would love to come again, if we can beat their competitive waitlist!
Amazing food and bread. Fun staff
The restaurant was welcoming. They practice COVID standards. Our server was wonderful. The food was more than exceptional. Will definitely return
Fantastic service and outstanding food. A very creative approach to Italian food.
Perfectly executed dishes as always. Amazing combination of creative flavors and ingredients without being pretentious.
Very happy to see them back in business.
Food & service were amazing. The lamb sausage was especially good!
Food is outstanding. Service also very good - they are taking steps to be very cautious, but in a more friendly way the some. We were seated inside which is a little bit dark, but with front windows and doors open has a bit airiness to it. Next time I may try to snag one of the few outdoor tables. We will be returning soon while the weather is still on our side.
The food is always delicious here. They are farm-to-table Italian and so the menu constantly is tweaked to include the freshest ingredients available. Not to mention the flavors are always unique and dynamic. The bartenders are true industry professionals; always remember a face and make a fantastic cocktail! Love this hidden gem. They also own Benedetto which is another favorite.
This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Boston. I hesitate to write this review because I already have a difficult time getting a reservation and don't want to make it even more difficult for myself. With social distancing, the ambiance wasn't quite what it usually is, but they still are making the most of a difficult situation and it doesn't get more professional than this. It's the next best thing to being in Italy! The food and service here is the best.
Very nice inside ambiance, but temp and humidity too high for comfortable dining. It was during a heat wave, so probably just a summer thing. Food exceptional with attention to culinary detail like a drizzle of pine bud syrup (Mugolio) on prosciutto and black trumpet mushrooms with the shredded wild boar outstanding. Shredding the boar worked great as it soaked up the sauce... Staff very attentive and bar tender actually came over and took cocktail order at our table. We received drinks quickly and the food pacing was perfect. 2 main course and 1 appetizer for 2 adults - more than enough and no room for dessert. Good value for money.
Very good food, nice and warm ambience and very good service 👍🏻
My one and only complaint, is every time I have been there he has always offered the most delicious local nostrale, a seasonal vegetable. They had nothing to offer that night.
I don’t know how he does it, but he makes panseared greens taste better than any food I have EVER had in my life!!! I have never had a bad meal, always exceptional! Even during Covid, we got takeout, and we were not disappointed.
Food was incredible. However, their AC is not working, which made dinner slightly uncomfortable given that we’ve had many 90+ degree days. Would highly recommend for food!!
This was a wonderful dining experience only marred by the absence of outdoor seating in spite of the barriers clearly available for that purpose.
Still, it was wonderful to at last fine at this restaurant.
Thank you for review and for dining with us at Giulia! We are happy to hear you enjoyed your dinner experience. We are currently in the final steps of getting our patio permit to be approved so we hope to be putting those barriers to use very soon!
As always, excellent refined food with a comfortable neighborhood feel. We love this place. They did an excellent job with safety and health measures. So glad this was our first indoor dining experience in 5 months.
Love this place! They did a great job at making us feel like we were not taking a risk i dining out!
Food was delicious except the bucatini was a little overdone. The sauce was very good and you can tell it was made in-house. Drinks were well-made. Service was great and everyone was very nice.
Probably the best dinner we’ve had in Cambridge since Covid hit
Michael the chef and Trevor the host do an amazing job
Don and Diana
Normally not so quiet but we enjoyed it. Food as always is terrific but due to fewer patrons we enjoyed a relaxing dinner with great food and service.
No air conditioning made it uncomfortable. Won't return until that is resolved.
Great to see Giulia back on its feet during pandemic. Missing some of the staples, like bartenders, but food fantastic as always.
Ambiance was a 3 only because the AC wasn’t working. The food and service were amazing!!!
Great food. Professional service. Really enjoyed the meal.
Shockingly delicious. Still talking about some of the dishes days later.
Amazing meal as usual!
Was amazing! Such a fan of Giulia. Kinda, friendly serving staff. Amazing food. Lives up to the hype, and well worth the money.
Really good dinner here our server was wonderful. Very knowledgeable about wines and the food. Gem of a place on Mass Avenue. We will go back.!
